Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

2008 Election in Coatesville was JOYUS - 2016 is defined by FEAR - PLUS -ChesCo Extremist Sheriff Bunny Welsh

Obama Trolley

The mood was joyous in the months before and the months after the election of 2008 in Coatesville, PA.
A black man was the candidate for president.

Although the mood was joyous, a man standing outside of Coatesville’s First Ward, hired by Republican State Rep. Tim Hennessey to pass out his election handbills was inebriated and pushing Hennessey’s material onto the chests of voters.

I went to the constable, who was at a different ward. I used his telephone to call Coatesville Police; he then gave the police his approval to intervene. The police were not needed. By the time I got back to the polling place an Obama for President employee skillfully calmed the man passing out Hennessey’s material. He was no longer threatening to voters.

On Election Day this year, no matter who you are for or against the mood is fear.

I believe most people and most of the press, that body once referred to as journalists, conflate poll watcher with people who stand outside of polls handing out materials.

Poll watcher is a legal term. Anybody can stand outside of a polling place.

“CLEVELAND, Ohio — An order released Friday afternoon by a federal judge in Cleveland overseeing a voter-intimidation lawsuit brought against Donald Trump and Republicans reiterates that people must obey Ohio's law when going to polling places.”

In Pennsylvania a “poll watcher” is a legal term for someone certified by a County or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a “poll watcher”.  The “poll watcher” is inside of the polling place with a view of everything happening inside the polling place.

In Coatesville people standing outside the polls handing out materials caused the physical intimidation and physical violence here. There never was a threat of violence by a person with a poll-watcher certificate inside of a polling place in Coatesville during my time as a Democratic Committee person in Coatesville

The voter intimidation threat in this election does not come from party committee people or political campaign staff or volunteers. The voter intimidation comes from anti-government extremist groups, Nazis and white nationalists.

THIS GUY IS NOT AN ORDINARY POLL WATCHER:

“I will be there to render assistance to my fellowcountrymen, and prevent them from being disarmed, and I will fight and I will kill and I may die in the process,' said Mr Hill, who founded the militia several years ago."

The voter intimidation worrying law enforcement officials this Election Day is not ordinary voter intimidation

SPLC
Intelligence Report: 'Constitutional sheriffs' movement spreads, promotes defiance of federal laws
August 03, 2016
"A movement made up of sheriffs claiming to be the highest law enforcement authority in the country is growing nationwide as it exploits hot-button issues such as gun control to encourage sheriffs to defy federal laws they don’t like, according to the Summer 2016 issue of the SPLC’s Intelligence Report, released today.
The cover story, “Line in the Sand,” details the growth of this radical ideology since 2009. The movement, formed around an organization called the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), is a phenomenon rarely, if ever, seen in the United States – a concerted, long-term effort to recruit law enforcement officers into the antigovernment “Patriot” movement."

Beginning at:3:40 in the video below:

"The following summer armed militiamen rushed to defend Oregon gold miners who were in dispute with the government. They were backed by Oath Keepers, a group of tactically trained former military and police officers.

For six weeks they turned the hills surrounding the mine into a patrol base. They were ready for war. These events may have happened far from your community but no area of the country is immune."
