Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

When Erik Prince’s Frontier Services mercenaries come to demonstrations in the United States, democracy is over

Is Erik Prince creating President Trump's version of Hitler's Schutzstaffel (SS) to function as bodyguards for Republicans?

In New Orleans, Erik Prince’s “Blackwater” mercenaries just showed up uninvited in full battle gear:

Bill Moyers interviews investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill about Blackwater -- in this clip Scahill tells the incredible story of armed Blackwater troops being sent into New Orleans on the order of Blackwater CEO Erik Prince in the aftermath of Katrina.

-------------------------------------------------------------

"Taliesin Myrddin Namkai-Meche, 23, and Rick Best, 53, were stabbed to death and 21-year-old student Micah David-Cole Fletcher was injured when they came to the aid of two women being subjected to hate speech on public transport. The suspect, Jeremy Christian, 35, was found to hold white supremacist views and to have attended an “alt-right” rally in the city.

Multnomah County GOP chair James Buchal, however, told the Guardian that recent street protests had prompted Portland Republicans to consider alternatives to 'abandoning the public square'.

'I am sort of evolving to the point where I think that it is appropriate for Republicans to continue to go out there,” he said. 'And if they need to have a security force protecting them, that’s an appropriate thing too.”

Portland Republican says party should use militia groups after racial attack

A review of Christian's Facebook page shows an individual all over the political spectrum but indicates that he holds some racist and other extremist beliefs. In an April 9 post, he wrote, “I just Challenged Ben Ferencz(Last Living Nuremberg Persecutor) to a Debate in the Hague with Putin as our judge. I will defend the Nazis and he will defend the AshkeNAZIs [a reference to European Jews].”

This past April 19, the anniversary of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, Christian praised Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh writing, “May all the Gods Bless Timothy McVeigh a TRUE PATRIOT!!!” In February 2016 he wrote, “I'm sure most of you don't remember but the American Nazi Party was taking care of a stretch of highway in Oregon about 10 years ago until ODOT took down their sign. Apparently Nazis don't have the freedom to exercise their civic duties in this State. Why? Because we live in a Fascist Police State run By "Liberal" "Multicultural" NAZIS!!!”

Portland Stabbings: Man Arrested for Double Murder After Allegedly Threatening Muslim Women Has Racist Views, Praised Timothy McVeigh

In typical Republican Orwellian “double speak” Multnomah County GOP chair James Buchal threatens to hire anti-government right wing white nationalist militia members as security to protect Republicans from lone wolf anti-government, white nationalist, militia people.

“I am sort of evolving to the point where I think that it is appropriate for Republicans to continue to go out there,” he said. “And if they need to have a security force protecting them, that’s an appropriate thing too.”

Asked if this meant Republicans making their own security arrangements rather than relying on city or state police, Buchal said: “Yeah. And there are these people arising, like the Oath Keepers and the Three Percenters.”

Asked if he was considering such groups as security providers, Buchal said: “Yeah. We’re thinking about that. Because there are now belligerent, unstable people who are convinced that Republicans are like Nazis...”

Spencer Sunshine, an associate researcher at Political Research Associates who last year co-authored a major report on the growth of the far-right Patriot Movement in Oregon, said:

“The Oath Keepers have been acting as a de facto security team for white supremacists and neo-Nazis for the last month or two.
“The Three Percenters have no accountability and are implicitly a deeply racist group, and sometimes have explicitly racist members. They have no interest in screening those explicit racists out.

“Consideration of the use of unaccountable, private paramilitary groups by one of the main political parties is a dangerous lurch to the far right.”

In a statement, Rose City Antifa, a Portland antifascist group, said: “That the GOP need[s] to bring in private armed security rather than rely on Portland Police speaks volumes on their stance against ‘violence’.

“These private security elements of the extreme right claim to be supporting ‘free speech’ when in reality their main goal is directing violence and hate speech towards antifascist protesters and activists while protecting white supremacists.
” The group pointed to what it said was evidence of Oregon Three Percenters attending “alt right” rallies.

Some people in our Chester County Republican Party may have the same plans as Multnomah County GOP chair James Buchal:

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos’ mercenary /security professional brother Erik Prince is embedded into the Trump Administration.

It's obvious that Republicans, including Pennsylvania Republicans, are cosy with white nationalist militia members.

But if right wing militia members, Nazis, skinheads, KKK etc, take the next step and attack politicians, Democratic and Republican politicians, it's insane to use them as bodyguards.

I think it's likely that Erik Prince will offer his services to well heeled Republican politicians:

--------------------------------------------------------

"Schakowsky said she wants more details on the nature of Prince’s meeting with a Russian associate of Putin and clarity on his supposedly unofficial role in the Trump camp. She added, however, that the investigation should be broader in scope.

'I feel that the American people, as much as they may be enjoying this unfolding mystery — this kind of House of Cards that’s real — that there’s this really, really disturbing quality to it. I think more and more American are disturbed, and, yes, its been focusing on Russia, but this with Erik Prince goes way beyond that, and I think more significantly beyond that.”

Working with a small cadre of loyalists — including a former South African commando, a former Australian air force pilot, and a lawyer with dual citizenship in the U.S. and Israel — Prince sought to secretly rebuild his private CIA and special operations enterprise by setting up foreign shell companies and offering paramilitary services, according to documents reviewed by The Intercept and interviews with several people familiar with Prince’s business proposals..

The official, comparing the former Blackwater empire to a drug syndicate, added that prosecutors could not get anyone under Prince to testify against him personally. “This is very much the concern,” the former official told The Intercept. “You push the buttons on the company, but the main bad guy gets away and does it again.”

WELCOME TO THE GOP’S VERSION OF NAZI AMERICA - HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

Now it's "shoot the Jews". You're the Nazi:

WARNING THIS IS DISGUSTING

------------------------------------------

We try to wipe clean the links between Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and the U.S.A. Trying hard not to remember that Hitler was inspired by American racism and anti-semitism.

It’s not just American “populist fascism”. It’s in Great Britain, France, Germany, all of Europe, all former Soviet countries, South East Asia, India and even Japan. And Steve Bannon and his boys at the Trump Whitehouse have links to all of them.

"The white supremacist protest in Charlottesville, Va., this month over a plan to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee, the Confederate general, shows how this is likely to go. The marchers feigned civility. But a closer look shows that the protest drew on the toxic symbolism of the Third Reich in ways that few Americans would recognize.

By wielding torches in a protest staged by night, the demonstrators nodded to Nazi rallies held during the 1930s at Nuremberg, where the open flame was revered as a mystical means of purifying the Aryan spirit. They reinforced this toxic connection by chanting “blood and soil,” a Nazi-era slogan that connected German ethnic purity to cultivation of the land and, more broadly, to the notion that the “master race” was divinely entitled to confiscate the holdings of “lesser peoples,” even if it meant slaughtering them along the way...

Hitler drew a similar, more sinister comparison in “Mein Kampf.” He describes the United States as “the one state” that had made headway toward what he regarded as a healthy and utterly necessary racist regime. Historians have long sought to minimize the importance of that passage. But in recent years, archival research in Germany has shown that the Nazis were keenly focused on Jim Crow segregation laws, on statutes that criminalized interracial marriage and on other policies that created second-class citizenship in the United States.

The Yale legal scholar James Q. Whitman fleshes this out to eerie effect in his new book “Hitler’s American Model: The United States and the Making of Nazi Race Law.” He illustrates how German propagandists sought to normalize the Nazi agenda domestically by putting forth the United States as a model. They assured the German people that Americans had “racist politics and policies,” just as Germany did, including “special laws directed against the Negroes, which limit their voting rights, freedom of movement, and career possibilities.” Embracing the necessity of lynching, one propagandist wrote: “What is lynch justice, if not the natural resistance of the Volk to an alien race that is attempting to gain the upper hand?”

“Hitler’s American Model” shows that homegrown American racism played a role in the notorious Nuremberg Laws of 1935, which deprived “non-Aryans” of citizenship and the right to marry “true” Germans. As Mr. Whitman writes, Nuremberg “signaled the full-scale creation of a racist state in a Germany on the road to the Holocaust.”
Nazism and the tradition of American white supremacy that is memorialized in monuments throughout the South are the fruit of the same poisonous tree. In this light, the Confederate flag can legitimately be seen as an alternate version of the Nazi emblem.

After the war, Germany tried to put Nazism back in its box by banning public display of swastikas and other emblems of the Third Reich. Later generations understood that to wear such an insignia was to smear oneself with history’s worst filth. Many Americans have failed to grasp this point. This explains why one still sees people parading around with both Nazi emblems and Confederate flags, openly embracing the meanings of both.

The new-age white supremacists who want so eagerly to expand their market shares recognize that covering themselves with swastikas is a route to marginalization. They are betting that they can achieve the effect they seek by embracing the Confederate cause, while serving up easy-listening Nazism on the side."

It's out in the open. They aren't hiding. GOP is a Nazi Party. It's why Chester County is becoming Democratic

Chester County Republican since before President Lincoln took office, will for the first time change to a Democratic County by 2018.

Of course there are still many Republican Party members who are ordinary citizens. But the CCRC leadership now leans towards Nazi ideology.

There are many, many more links between our Chester County Republican Committee and anti-government, Neo-Nazi / white nationalist ordinations, way too much for a single blog post.

I just added just four obvious extremist Republicans below the Slate article.

Revitalization of the City of Coatesville was stopped in part by extremist anti- "Agenda 21" Republicans.

-------------------------------------

"There are decent Republican people. There are Republican voters and politicians and writers who promote principles of public decency. But there aren't enough of those individuals to have prevented the Republican Party, as a national institution, from becoming one that welcomes and encourages violence and white-supremacist racism.

The party's pre-Trump history is obviously not spotless. But 10 and 20 years ago the Republican party was usually forced to marginalize and disavow its openly racist, fascist elements, if only for reasons of political expediency. Not so anymore. Consider:

The party has almost universally supported the agenda and personality cult of Donald Trump, who once bragged about grabbing women "by the pussy." Trump has been credibly accused of sexual assault by 14 women and has been accused by six others of entering changing rooms in which he knew that teenage girls would be undressed.

One of the president's senior advisers, Steve Bannon, has reportedly endorsed a book about race war—beloved in the neo-Nazi community—which refers to black individuals as "niggers" and "rats." Bannon openly supports white nationalist goals such as reducing the number of Asian American CEOs and was heavily involved in creating the career of white nationalist and Nazi fetishist Milo Yiannopoulos.

Trump's son, who was a key part of his campaign, repeatedly conducted campaign outreach to open, unapologetic white supremacists. The president himself conducted an exclusive campaign Q&A with a notorious internet forum rife with white supremacist hate speech.

Congressman Steve King, who has repeatedly endorsed white-supremacist talking points and praised European white nationalist parties, was once considered a nuisance by party leaders but has been embraced and promoted by Trump.

The Trump administration reportedly recently hired a woman whose most recent job was running an anti-immigration group that was founded by a white supremacist and has long-standing connections to the sewer world of race science.

Eyewitnesses from Fox News, of all places, say the newest Republican congressman—Montana's Greg Gianforte—body-slammed and punched a reporter who had approached him to ask a question about the American Health Care Act on Wednesday night. Gianforte was almost immediately charged with assault by a local sheriff who had donated to his campaign. Then, on Thursday, he was elected to Congress, where other Republicans appear ready to welcome him with, at most, the suggestion that he "apologize" for engaging in the spontaneous beating of someone who was trying to ask him a question about public policy."

Bunny Welsh the Chester County Sheriff is a member of the Leadership of the CSPOA (Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association).

I knew Chester County has a lot of right wing extremists among Republican Party members, state and local candidates and elected officials.  I’m stunned by this.  It's frightening that Bunny Welsh as the Sheriff of Chester County is on the books in the LEADERSHIP of an anti-government right wing extremist organization.

THE 2ND COMMANDMENT "THOU SHALT PACK HEAT":

"Former Pennsylvania GOP state lawmaker Sam Rohrer, now with Let Freedom Ring and the Pennsylvania Pastors Network, appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk this week to argue that a literal reading of the Bible reveals that gun rights come directly from God. However, he went on to say that Jesus’ teachings on non-violence should not be taken literally.

Responding to a caller who asked if there was a connection between new gun laws and Agenda 21, a nonbinding framework for sustainable development that is the source of many conservative conspiracies, Rohrer maintained that government will use both policies to increase its control over people’s lives and to reduce the population, explaining that as a result of new gun and environmental laws there will be 'people who will probably lose their lives and there will be a loss of population.”

It’s an “epidemic”. The game's the same. The addicts are mostly white.

Mexican cartels run their business like Walmart, from farm to delivery.

The FBI put U.S. mafias out of the drug business several years ago.
"The largest, most lucrative heroin markets in the United States are the big whitepowder markets in major eastern cities: Baltimore, Boston and its surrounding cities, Chicago, Detroit, New York City and the surrounding metropolitan areas, Philadelphia, and Washington DC."

Two addiction counselors at a suburban Philadelphia halfway house died of opioid overdoses inside the facility on the same day, authorities said Wednesday.
"If anybody is wondering how bad the opioid epidemic has become, this case is a frightening example," said Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan. "Opioids are a monster that is slowly consuming our population."

Emergency responders were called to Freedom Ridge Recovery Lodge on Sunday afternoon after residents found the counselors unresponsive in separate bedrooms. "

Mexican heroin cartels are more scientific, employing pharmaceutical and horticultural scientists imported from Columbia. Using state of the art logistics Mexican cartels control production and distribution from farm to, or nearly to,your doorstep. "Everyday low prices" like Walmart.

Mexican Cartels control nearly all of heroin production and distribution but the game is the same. The people have changed, to mostly white.

The only cure for our heroin epidemic is decriminalizing possession of heroin as Portugal did:
"Goulão, who had worked as a family physician in his 20s, at the height of the crisis, says there was very little opposition to the policy change.

"Every family had its own drug addict. It was so, so present in everyday life, that it turned public opinion," Goulão says. "We are dealing with a chronic relapsing disease, and this is a disease like any other. I do not put a diabetic in jail, for instance."

Under the 2001 decriminalization law, authored by Goulão, drug dealers are still sent to prison. But anyone caught with less than a 10-day supply of any drug — including heroin — gets mandatory medical treatment. No judge, no courtroom, no jail."

In Portugal, Drug Use Is Treated As A Medical Issue, Not A Crime

Lauren FrayerApril 18, 2017 4:55 AM ET

Before we decriminalize all drugs we need a healthcare system.

Portugal like all of Europe except for Great Britain has an Obamacare type system of government required health care for everyone with a choice of who manages your healthcare. Great Britain has government managed health care.

Portuguese healthcare at a glance
"A mix of public and private health service providers delivers Portuguese primary healthcare.

These include primary care centres integrated in the NHS, private sector primary care providers and professionals or groups of professionals with which the NHS contracts or develops cooperation agreements. Most primary healthcare is delivered by GPs/family doctors and primary care nurses in a primary care centre setting. Other providers include local family units and long-term care units. Secondary and tertiary care is mainly provided in hospitals. Some primary care centres also provide a limited range of specialist ambulatory care...

If you are working in Portugal and you are contributing to the social security system, you are automatically entitled to free treatments across Portugal’s medical spectrum. However, you should remember that non-essential medicines are not given for free. You will be paying anywhere between 40% and 100% of the cost. Since most of the pharmacies in Portugal are managed by qualified chemists, a lot of medicines are easily obtained without a prescription."

"What would happen if you took everyone who is addicted to heroin in New Jersey and sent them to live in one place?

It would be the state's fourth largest city, boasting a population of at least 128,000.

Its residents are diverse enough that the town would be self-sufficient -- with lawyers, politicians, construction workers, teachers and scientists walking the streets.

And you will know one of them.

In fact, social network analysis suggests you likely will know several city residents, whether they toil at a desk behind you or sleep in a bed down the hall.

This city exists all across New Jersey, where heroin and opioid addiction have exploded in the past 10 years, killing more than 5,000 people and enslaving hundreds of thousands more. It's not a new story, but one whose tendrils reach far deeper into the Garden State than most know."

A Coatesville teacher asked her class what do you want to do for an occupation, a student replied, drug dealer.

The teacher was stunned when the student said he wanted to be a drug dealer. She asked why he wanted to be a drug dealer. The student said, we make a lot of money.

I can understand why someone, particularly a poor person sells drugs. If you don’t have a skill that’s in demand, a skill in a legal business. The jobs available don’t pay much. And even a street slinger in Coatesville can make a good amount of money in a short time.

But it’s an UN-comfortable living. And a career selling drugs could be short because it’s a life threatening career that can put you in prison for a long time.

Watch Aadil Malik speak his poem "Education".

Young black men might think the drug selling business is cool and dangerous. But they're fools. They're being duped. They're conned by the drug business owners. And the huge con on black people, the decades long, Republican Party long-con was started by Richard Nixon in 1968:
“According to Watergate mastermind and former Richard Nixon aide John Ehrlichman, the then-president launched the notorious (and ongoing) war on drugs in 1971 to disrupt that administration's two greatest perceived threats: black people and antiwar leftists.

‘The brazen quote surfaced in the April cover story  of Harper's magazine that was written by Dan Baum and went online Tuesday. The reporter recalls an interview back in 1994 in which Ehrlichman bluntly explained the whole thing.

‘The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying?" Ehrlichman told Baum. ‘We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”

"EDUCATION", A Spoken Word Poem by Aadil Malik

I spoke to Aadil and his father in back of Chertoks Store a few days ago.

I think he earned the title "Coatesville's Poet."

People like me who track anti-government insurrectionists understand Trump. Political reporters can't get it.

Political reporters are getting closer. Edward Luce is  mostly right. But GOP he writes about is mostly gone.

Our Chester County Sheriff is a Charter Member of the CSPOA. Chester County is supposedly liberal, but the Chester County Republican Committee is full of anti-government freaks.

People like me who track Nazis, skinheads, & insurrectionist militia groups have a better understanding of Trump then people who track politics.

"Trumpians are stoked by a closed ecosystem of news sites that presents the world in a radically different light to the rest of the media. Thus Mr Trump did not fire James Comey last week...Most of the sites ignored this week’s revelations and focused on the shooting of Seth Rich, a Democratic staffer who had apparently forwarded thousands of emails to WikiLeaks last summer. Readers were left in no doubt that Hillary Clinton, or people close to her, were involved in Mr Rich’s murder."
