Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Why did Pat Sellers giggle when he talked about Patsy Ray winning the election?

Pat Sellers campaigned for Patsy Ray.  Pat giggled when he said "I never thought she could win."

When Patsy Ray was elected to Coatesville City Council I think that Pat Sellers got the black city council of  his dreams.

Why would someone who reads the American Renaissance (July 2000, scroll down to see 1st comment) help to elect Patsy Ray? Warning have a barf bag handy if you read the rest of the issue.

"Blacks and whites are different. When blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western civilization — any kind of civilization — disappears."

Patsy Ray ran a write-in campaign.

I don’t know where the idea that Ingrid Jones ran unopposed for Coatesville's Second Ward came from. Patsy Ray ran a write-in campaign. She got 20 votes.

Patsy Ray ran on her record. The only campaigning she did was on Election Day.

You can see her campaign finance report here:

Patsy Ray’s financing came from the Coatesville Unity Committee.

Patsy Ray and a group of about a ½ dozen of her supporters sat on one side of the stairway leading to Coatesville’s Second Ward Polls urging voters to write-in Patsy Ray’s name as City Councilperson for Coatesville’s Second Ward.

Harry G is perplexed? Come on; Then City Council President Miss Patsy Ray wanted Girl Scouts arrested for planting flowers without her permission.

I think that Christian Geiger’s statement: "City Manager Harry Walker is perplexed at the notion of her being laid off for political reasons." is pure baloney. I think part of the evidence is here:
"Patsy Ray guilty of city codes violation

Coatesville Council President Patsy Ray was found guilty today of violating the city's code ordinance which prohibits using interior furniture on her porch.
Ray, according to court documents filed in District Justice Robert Davis' magisterial office, was cited by Codes Officer Herb Wagner for having a wooden chair with over-stuffed cushions on her porch. She was found guilty after a hearing before Davis today and fined $25 and ordered to pay $41 in court costs. Ray could appeal the conviction to county court.
Wagner, who cited Ray, is one of two codes officer City Manager Harry Walker is reportedly recommending for layoff as the city undergoes a financial crisis with roots in the former administration of Paul Janssen."

I also think we should repeatedly keep asking why the City of Coatesville has not collected its $110,000.00 judgment awarded by Commonwealth Superior Court from Coatesville landlord Amrit Lal. Was a deal struck? I think that $110,000.00 would easily take care of rehiring an Animal Control Officer. See:

"A stray problem for city
Published: Sunday, July 19,
By JENNIFER MILLER, Staff Writer
COATESVILLE — For two years city residents have been unclear about what they should do when encountering a stray or loose animal because the city laid off its animal control officer in 2007 and has not arranged for a comparable service.

In April, a few residents and the former animal control officer, Dale Scott, raised concerns to City Council about the city's stray and loose animal issues.

Council and the city administration said the matter would be addressed. And in the meantime, residents were told to call the police department with animal problems.

Since then, city officials have not taken any public action nor offered

the public with any alternative procedures."

JARRELL BRAZZLE FIRST LEARNED THAT HE AN PATSY RAY HAD THE VERY SAME POLITICAL COMMITTEE WHEN HE SAW THE PRINTED MATRIAL

They are both supported by the “COATESVILLE UNITY COMMITTEE”.

However on Election Day Jarrell Brazzle said that he first learned that the same campaign committee called the “COATESVILLE UNITY COMMITTEE” that supported and printed nearly identical campaign material for Jareel and for Patsy Ray was when he saw the campaign ads and handouts.

Jarrell said that he called the people that managed his campaign material and told them that he was very angry to see the printed material connecting him with Patsy Ray.

Jareel made it very clear that he had no connection at all with Patsy Ray and was not running with her and disliked the association with Ms.Ray.

Mr. Brazzle intends to contact the Daily Local News and declare his independence from Patsy Ray and Harry Walker.
