Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Walker recommends a $1.5 M withdraw from City trust fund to pay its vendors.

My information alleges that the City of Coatesville’s Finance Department’s records are a shambles and that they have been for years. That source alleged that a forensic examination of the cities finances would be very expensive for that reason.

A forensic examination of the city’s finances allegedly would be too expensive for the City itself to undertake and also possibly too expensive a task for the Chester County DA’s office to undertake.

A forensic examination of the cities finances could be undertaken by the US Department of Justice.

Does Stacy Bjorhus our new Director of Finance feel she accepted a nightmare job?

Walker is using the economy as an excuse for not paying monthly bills. He did not have that excuse in April of 2008 when the Coatesville PD Nextel radios went dead.

The “Bloc of Four” took office with a balanced budget. They had a chance to keep it that way when Chetty Builders was ready to start building its 3rd Avenue & Lincoln Hwy. building but the “Bloc” followed Andrew Lehr’s recommendation and shot Chetty down.

But, I guess you need to give all the city administrations of the past few years a break. You could argue that the cities financial problems began when it was forced to defend itself against more than thirty arguably frivolous lawsuits. The city won every lawsuit.

Maybe the USDoJ could look into those things too.
