"Bring change to Coatesville in the 2009 elections"

"Several Coatesville people who are working to get Obama's agenda passed by the Congress and also to bring change to Coatesville in the 2009 elections are holding an Obama volunteer reunion next Saturday morning.

President Obama has called on his supporters to mobilize to get his stimulus package passed and to remain active to bring about change in their communities.

Please attend. We will implement President Obama's instructions on the stimulus package and update folks on the 2009 Coatesville elections.

What: Coatesville Obama volunteer reunion (Obama supporters also welcome)

Update on Lincoln University Polls in Oxford Twp. Pennsylvania

Update on Lincoln University polling place in Oxford, PA:

There will be a special meeting of the Chester County Board of Elections concerning the Polls atLincoln University and other issues. The time and day has not been announced.

Students were forced to wait in line, in the rain for 51/2 to 11 hours to vote in a cramped polling place beside a highway in Oxford Township, Chester County, PA.

Your Help is Needed

Lincoln University voters ~many of whom were students supporting Barack Obama~ were forced to stand in line for approximately 5 1/2 to 11 hours to vote on Election Day according the newspaper reports.

"The County Democrats had tried to have the polling place moved from a cramped community center to the gymnasium on campus.
The university agreed to open its doors.
But, the county commissioners, who also serve as the election board, rejected the move 2 to 1.The two Republicans, Carole Aichele and Terrence Farrel, casting the no votes."-WPVI-TV News

This situation is unacceptable for any voter anywhere in Chester County!

to sign a Petition to have the Polling Place moved back to Lincoln University gymnasium.

The petition will be presented to the County next Tuesday.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. - November 5, 2008 (WPVI) -- Voting problems will always be a part of election day, but students at historically black Lincoln University say there's no excuse for what happened there last night.

Their members were some of the best campaign workers in Chester County. They helped put Barack Obama over the top in Pennsylvania.

I believe that the Republican Party of Eisenhower, country clubs, Cadillacs, patriots and civic responsibility that once was one of the pillars of Democracy in the United States has long been dead. I think that it has been usurped by a Kleptocracy of white collar criminals that uses fear and prejudice as a cover for theft.
