I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Trump’s immigration policy already has done some damage to Coatesville’s economy.
Trump’s reinstatement of KKK 1924 immigration policy will continue damaging Coatesville's and Chester County's economy.
Here in Coatesville, PA people talk about “back in the day”. Back in the day when people in Chester County went to Coatesville on Friday evenings for shopping.
The stores of the “Back in the day” Coatesville, PA downtown people remember were owned and operated mostly by Jewish, Syrian, Eastern European, Italian immigrants and their sons and daughters.
In the 1930s the KKK lit a cross on my Uncle Lou Pilotti’s front yard. At about that time Coatesville’s business community consisted mostly of Italian, Jewish & Syrian immigrants. The new wave of immigrants is terrorized by ICE and Trump's "very good people" white supremacists.
My Italian family only needed to be concerned with the KKK. Now Mexican, South American and Middle Eastern immigrants own much of Coatesville’s businesses. Those immigrants, even the immigrants who are American citizens are terrorized by Trump’s ICE agents. At least one immigrant business owner with 3 and growing locations in Chester County was illegally detained by ICE.
My doctor said many Indian Americans are considering moving back to India. It's becoming too dangerous for Indian Americans to live in the United States. Indian Americans are frequently the targets of white supremacist terrorists. Indian Americans make up a large pert of the business and professional community of Chester County. Coatesville is on the cusp of a return to a place to go for shopping and socializing. But I believe the Republican Party's support of the Trump Presidency could damage the U.S. economy and bring down Coatesville, PA along with it.
