Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

With at least 4 presidential candidates the outcome of the 2016 presidential election is not predictable at this point. But here in Coatesville we certainly can make a difference in the elections, that for most people, have a bigger effect on their daily lives. The local & state elections.

Chester County Democrats have become slightly more influential in Chester County, but Chester County remains SOLIDLY in GOP hands as it has for 160 years.

Republican voters, maybe half of them, have gone whole hog white supremacist with Trump as their Fuhrer. It's also true that some long time Democrats have pleged their allegance to Fuhrer Trump. Fuhrer Trump brought white supremacists out of the closet.

Hillary Clinton is obviously the only possible candidate for black people in Coatesville, PA. AND for reasonable people in all of Chester County, PA. regardless of their party affiliation on their voter registration.

Maybe Fuhrer Trump could put a crack in the Republican Party's 160 year old dominance of Chester County politics.

When you take into consideration the numbers of new, mostly younger people moving to Western Chester County who may be turned off by Fuhrer Trump, It's possible that a large get out the vote for Democratic candidates in Western Chester County in this election could presage a change to Democratic in Chester County.

Democrats need to vote not just in this election but in all the elections of 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The GOP "Base" voters vote in all elections. Democrats can too.
