Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

“What ever happens in Chester County stays in Chester County”. State College, PA had the same “motto”.

Dr. Taschner will probably do well as Coatesville Area School District Superintendent but it’s hard to blame Chester County residents from being suspicious of their public officials. Their suspicions usually have meat on them. With very few exceptions that meat is never cooked.
If you go outside of Chester County you will find that Chester County has an alleged reputation for ignoring Commonwealth Law, making it up as they go.
It’s very difficult to effectively prosecute politically connected people in Chester County courts. Richard Legree Jr., son of CCRC Area 14 Chairman Richard Legree (deceased), was untouchable in Chester County Courts. He was convicted in the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
We hear a lot about corrupt public officials going to prison in New Jersey. New Jersey has a possibly deserved reputation for corrupt public officials.  SEE:
Here in Chester County we hear allegations of corrupt public officials but with very few exceptions, such as convicted and sentenced Chester County Commissioner and CCRC Chairman Theodore Rubino, they never go beyond allegations.
If Chester County was a more non-partisan place like most of New Jersey instead of a county that has been Republican before President Lincoln was Republican I believe we would have a Mount Rushmore of corrupt public officials.
