Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Is SkyFlight gone because of Alleged Massive Nationwide Medicare Fraud by Community Health Systems?

Is shutting down SkyFlight the first step in shutting down Brandywine Hospital?
See today’s Daily Local News:
Published: Tuesday, June 14, 2011
“Specifically, the United States is investigating allegations of improper billing for inpatient care at other Hospitals associated with Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHS)...
The United States has now consolidated its investigations of CHS and other related entities; the Civil Division of the Department of Justice, Multiple United States Attorney's offices, and the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are now closely coordinating their investigation of these overlapping allegations. The Attorney General of Texas has initiated an investigation; the United States intends to work cooperatively with Texas and any other States investigating these allegations.
4. The United States has secured the services of the Office of Audit Services for the Office of Investigations for HHS (OAS) fo conduct a national audit of certain CHS's Medicare Claims.”

My new book is out and now I can give more information on the lynching.

What is happening in California could moderate the Republican Party or lead it closer to falling into the graveyard of political parties.

Eisenhower Republicans are gone and “that fringe group in Arizona” of Eisenhower’s time now controls the Republican Party.

The closed ideological minds of the extremist Republicans cannot accept the proven failure of Libertarian/Objectivism Randist ideology and Friedman “Free Market” ideologies.

The decline of the middle class parallels the rise of the “Free Market” Republican Ideology, deregulation and tax breaks for the wealthy. The Republicans believe that everyone will forget the long period of prosperity of the New Deal, the brief economic recovery of the Clinton Administration and the total failure of the Bush Administration.

But the people of California along with nearly everyone else in the world don’t buy the insane extremist view. What is happening in California could change the direction of the Republican Party or lead it closer to falling into the graveyard of political parties.

There is a choice; the Republican hierarchy in California either allows moderate Republicans to campaign or California and most likely the US House of Representatives becomes Democratic.
See:

WITH PROPOSED NEW DISTRICT BOUNDARIES, REPUBLICANS MUST RECRUIT MORE MODERATE CANDIDATES AND FIND COMMON GROUND WITH MORE CALIFORNIANS, EXPERTS SAY.

But the coffin lid could fall on the Republican Party in August.

The Republican’s think they can vote no on extending the debt limit and allow the USA to default on loan obligations. And the plan is that because he is President of the USA, Obama will be blamed for the economic holocaust to follow.

Of course the insane right believes the “freemarket fairy” will wave its magic wand and the economic holocaust that sane people fear, will not happen.

The problem we all have with the insane leadership of the Republican Party is that in their concerted efforts to make Democrats look bad they will shut down the economic engine of America, plunging the still fragile worldwide economic recovery into what might become the “Greatest” Depression” and at least in this country "the great experiment in democracy” could be dead.

Interesting Stuff:
On John Boehner; ‘He’s growing into his shorts,’ Donohue said. “He’s put on his big boy pants.”
“There was lots of patting on the back at he Rotary Club of Atlanta’s luncheon Monday with Tom Donohue, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as the keynote speaker…
‘Because vehicles have become so much more fuel efficient, drivers — including truckers — have been paying about half of what they used to pay in gasoline taxes. More revenue is needed to properly maintain the nation’s roads and highways. Donohue proposed increasing the gas tax by 5 cents a year for four years.
To those who would oppose such a gas tax increase, Donohue’s message was simple. ‘Don’t pay it,’ he said. “Stay home.”
For much of his talk, Donohue was quite critical of the Obama administration. But he did praise the work that Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of GE (General Electric), is doing as head of Obama’s economic advisory panel.
In one of the funnier moments during his Rotary talk, Donohue was asked if Congress was going to raise the debt ceiling.
Yes, it will be raised, Donohue answered, mainly because the country can not afford to not pay its bills.
To those newly-elected representatives who say they aren’t going to raise the debt ceiling and will shut down government, Donohue said the U.S. Chamber has its own message: ‘We’ll get rid of you.’
He then went on to praise U.S. House Speaker John Boehner for his Congressional leadership.‘He’s growing into his shorts,’ Donohue said. 'He’s put on his big boy pants.”

There is another wrinkle to Coatesville trash bills; some people may be getting two sets of bills.

The Daily Local News published the alleged delinquent trash bills of some Coatesville city officials.

You can hear a back and forth discussion between Coatesville Finance Director Stacy Bjorhus and Coatesville City Councilperson Ed Simpson about the city trash bills at the May 23rd Coatesville City Council meeting here:
There is another wrinkle to the solid waste bill or trash bill in Coatesville that I don’t believe has been addressed in its entirety.
Some residents may be receiving two sets of trash bills.
Real estate is sold not by the building but by the parcel.  A parcel number may span 1 row home on the County tax rolls and 2 or more row homes on the City of Coatesville tax rolls. If the people paying the bills don’t keep careful records they may be paying two sets of trash bills for the same property and not realize it. I don’t know how many duplicate records like this exist, but I am aware of one that has been brought to the city's attention.
The finance software was mentioned in the exchange between Councilperson Simpson and Finance Director Bjorhus.

I think the City of Coatesville’s finance software is a disaster and that affects every aspect of managing the city.
Here is a link to former Coatesville resident Keith Gargus speaking about his experience with financial software. Mr. Gargus was employed by a recording tape manufacturer. He distributed recording tapes to the FBI and ATF in the New York, NY area and was a stand in for the local FBI and ATF softball teams):

At the time of the original posting there was not much interest. I think that has changed.

POT HOLE 1

Posted by Picasa
This pothole is on 13th Avenue near Walnut Street in Coatesville. It's been there a long time. I'm not sure exactly how to do it but I am going to try making a time lapse series to show how it grows over time.

June 6th marks USA's ascendancy. June 7th marks USA's decline.

Yesterday June 6 was the anniversary of D-Day, the Invasion of Europe. 24 hours that marked a decisive victory under the leadership of the Democratic Party and the USA's ascendancy into the world’s economic and industrial powerhouse. Today June 7 is the anniversary of the Republican Parties tax cuts, an event that may be a future marker for America's decline into an insignificant banana republic.
