Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

John Goetz was Betsy’s boss at the Southeast Pennsylvania American Red Cross. Betsy & me visited him at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville.

His Cessna was hangared at the Coatesville, PA, G.O. Carlson Airport.

On the way back from training airline pilots in instrument navigation at Dulles International on a Sunday night, his plane’s engine failed on approach to the airport. He crashed, landing upside down in a tree-covered area. He shut off the fuel & electricity.

He got out the ELT emergency transmitter. He gave himself first aid for his compound fracture of his femur. John was an author of the American Red Cross First Aid Manual. He crashed less than a mile from the airport. It took days to find him.

SE PA American Red Cross assistant Director & former Marine Corps A-4 Skyhawk pilot John Goetz applied a tourniquet to his compound fracture femur and saved his own life. Marine Corps Pilots ARE resilient. They bounce back.

There was a Philadelphia Channel 6 News story about John’s crash and days days-long efforts to find him. I can’t find it. If anyone does know how to get the video, let me know.

Marine Corps pilot Amy McGrath, Kentucky

“Kentuckians deserve someone battle-tested and ready to fight for them on day one. I’ve spent my life stepping up when the mission was tough and the stakes were high, first as a Marine and now for Kentucky. I’m ready to complete the mission,” McGrath wrote in her post launching the campaign.

McGrath said in her video that Kentucky’s open U.S. Senate seat “will decide the balance of power in the Senate.
