I was a juror on a murder trial in Philadelphia. The prosecution asked for 1st degree murder without death penalty.
The defendant was assaulted with a crowbar by the victim at the victims house. The defendant brought a gun on the street returned to the victim’s home and shot him in the abdomen. He died minutes later.
We were sequestered. The trial took 10 days meaning over a weekend. The judge arranged for a brunch for us at the Perkiomen Creek Inn. We had a great brunch with lobster. The Judge and court officers were very good to us. The judge provided puzzles. He said a trial has pieces that need to go together like a puzzle. Everyone including the defendant was respectful to us. They stood when we walked in. An ordinary trial.
When the jurors for the election interference trial of Donald J. Trump walked in everyone but defendant Trump stood.
Defendant Trump will continue to abuse the judge, witnesses and most importantly the jury.
Trump is emotionally unable to stop abusing people who don’t agree with him. No matter how long the trial lasts, the jury is likely to decide to convict on all charges within the first few days.
