Donald Trump is a monster attracting a white supremacist base. Hillary Clinton is deeply disliked and so far tied with Donald Trump. But the political pundit press treats this election like a TV contest show.
Chester County, Pennsylvania is a very nice place to live. Jobs are available. There are rolling meadows and woods between small towns. It's a wealthy county, top heavy wealth. We have some multi-billionaires who travel by helicopter.
“Obama racked up record margins in Philadelphia in 2012, beating Mitt Romney by 468,000 votes. Clinton’s chances of building a similar margin in a city where more than 40% of residents are African American remains open to question.”
“Despite this, Rendell said, Clinton would not carry Philadelphia by 468,000 votes. He thought Clinton needed to achieve a margin of 375,000 to 400,000 in the fifth-largest city in the country.”
“The suburbs were the prize, he said, adding that he was confident Clinton would do well there. Romney, Rendell said, “was a very good suburban Republican candidate. He looked the part, was somewhat moderate and had been governor of Massachusetts.” The result was that Obama carried those four counties by “only” 120,000 votes. Rendell thought it was possible Clinton, against the more extreme Trump, could double such margins.”

Political news writers are unaware of the right wing extremism in "suburban" Chester County. They do not recognize it when it's right under their noses, obvious and plain as day to anyone who knows something about them:

Voter intimidation at Coatesville polls was a normal part of Coatesville elections while John Birch Society Chapter Leader Pat Sellers, Bob Saucier, Ernie Campos, Richard Legree and Andrew Lehr were involved in Coatesville politics.
Several times it escalated into violence. The voter intimidation here in Coatesville was organized and paid for. It was targeted voter intimidation to discourage specific voters at specific polls. Those people are now mostly gone from the scene. The politically attached drug dealer goons left over have nothing backing up their efforts at intimidation.
Violence at a some Coatesville polling places was ordinary during the "Saha years". It was a given that Coatesville Police would be needed on Election Days during that time. I believe at least one judge of elections resigned because of that violence.
There was a threat to Obama for President staff in Chester County and Delaware County in 2008. Enough of a threat tor around the clock personal security for all paid Obama for President staff. When I asked what the threat was I got a frightened look but no answer. I still don't know why they hired around the clock security.

ELECTION DAY NOVEMBER 8, 2016 IS A BIG DAY FOR WHITE SUPREMACISTS - It could be a day of violence.
At an Aug. 12 rally in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump told supporters that the only way he can lose in the state is if “in certain sections of the state they cheat.” He urged supporters to monitor polling places in an effort to “stop crooked Hillary from rigging this election.” Trump’s call to action is promoted by white supremacists on Stormfront, the world’s leading neo-Nazi website. One Stormfront thread features a video by Alex Jones, America’s No. 1 radical-right conspiracy theorist, claiming that “[t]hey stole the election from [Bernie] Sanders and are planning it for Trump.” Richard Cohen's commentary "Donald Trump, Poll Watchers & Voter Fraud")

HATE IN THE RACE
A remarkable level of vitriol has characterized the contest for president. And it’s showing no signs of letting up.
