Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

John has been doing an outstanding job. He is one of the people here who are devoted to bringing up Coatesville.

This is one of the buildings that he referred to at last night’s Coatesville City Council meeting:

And a constant Coatesville supporter named Matt Baker has a graffiti cleanup scheduled for May 1st in Coatesville.

Hi Everyone,
First and foremost I want to thank everyone for Saturday. To say it was a success was an understatement. 40+ people showed up and we took care of business. All groups of people from all different walks of life and some not even from Coatesville came together for a single purpose – Beautifying the City of Coatesville.  Thanks to City of Coatesville and especially Don Wilkinson and his crew to get the mulch and help with the coordination. Thanks also to the City and to Joe Carroll for getting the flier out on their respective websites so people knew about this. Thanks to businesses that allowed us to post the fliers in their store. Thank you to Osman’s Pizzeria and Lamb Beverage for their generosity. It was great to see some members of City Council (Karl Marking and Joe Hamrick) as well as the Interim City Manager Ted Reed in attendance. Most importantly thank you to all the participated. Through your hard wood the bump-outs are done. City Hall is now mulched and the Ash Park playground is mulched as well. Not bad for 3.5 hours of work.
Check out the pics on the main page of the work that was done!
Please note the next work will be on May 1st, when will be working on painting graffiti. I’ll get the flier this week regarding more information.
All the best,

Matt
