Two Republican bills in Pennsylvania Legislature would eleminate schools as polling places. Many Chester County Polls are at schools, including 3 polling places in the City of Coatesville.

GOP bill would eliminate Coatesville’s 2nd Ward, Coatesville Ward 4-1 and Coatesville’s 4-2 polling places.  All heavily Democratic polling places. CASH HS, South Brandywine & North Brandywine Elementary. Many other Chesco Polls also on GOP chopping block.

“The township made national news following the 2008 presidential election, when some voters were forced to wait literally all day in pouring rain in order to vote. Many voters had to leave without casting their votes, disenfranchised by inadequate polling facilities.

Despite numerous warnings before the election that the cramped polling place would cause problems, the County Board of Elections had refused to change the location of the polling place – a tiny community center that could accommodate only two lines of voters, a small number of privacy booths, and a single ballot scanner.  And even after the 2008 fiasco, the Board of Elections rejected a petition to move the polling place to the campus of Lincoln University, where it had previously been located for years.

We submit the following information as a follow-up to our criminal complaint from 17 Dec. 2014 and our submissions of 28 July 2015 and 28 June 2016: 

On 2 Feb. 2017 US President Donald Trump appointed Ms Gina Cheri Haspel as Deputy Director of the CIA. Gina Haspel has held various positions since joining the CIA in 1985. From 2002 to 2005 she was involved – in a manner relevant in terms of criminal liability – in the CIA’s rendition and torture program which we described in detail in the submission of 28 July 2015. Prior to this year, Gina Haspel’s work at the CIA was undercover, and it was only on her appointment as Deputy Director that her name, previous posts and areas of work became known. For this reason, it is only now possible to make submissions relating to her and to link her with some of the previously known incidents. 

We submit the following supplementary material: 

 Gina Cheri Haspel, born 1 Oct. 1956, held the following positions, among others, at the CIA: Chief of Base (COB) at the “Cat’s Eye” or “Catseye” secret prison in Thailand in 2002, Chief of Staff for Jose A. Rodriguez Jr., Director of Operations at the CIA Counterterrorism Center, from 2003 to 2005, CIA Station Chief in various countries, and various senior positions in the CIA’s National Clandestine Service. 

At the “Cat’s Eye” secret prison in Thailand, (referred to as DETENTION SITE GREEN in the executive summary of the Senate Intelligence Committee Report on CIA`s Detention and Interrogation Program), Mr Zayn Al-Abidin Muhammad Husayn, better known as Abu Zubaydah, was detained and tortured, in particular in August 2002. His case is one of the first and most emblematic cases of the CIA’s use of its newly approved torture methods. His case is set out in detail from page 17 of the executive summary of the Senate Intelligence Committee Report of 9 December 2014. 

The European Court of Human Right’s decision in Abu Zubaydah v. Poland also contains further information. The Court classified his treatment as torture in accordance with Art. 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights (CASE OF HUSAYN (ABU ZUBAYDAH) v. POLAND, No. 7511/13, ECtHR (Fourth Section), decision from 24 July 2014. 

In our submission of 28 July 2015 we set out (pp. 15-20) how Abu Zubaydah was arrested, seriously injured, on 27 March 2002 and rendered to the “Cat’s Eye” prison in Thailand. During his initial detention period, Abu Zubaydah was interrogated by the FBI. The CIA discussed its own interrogation strategy and then took over the interrogation from the FBI. Abu Zubaydah was held in solitary confinement for 47 days from 18 June 2002.

"Saccone has written extensively about the need for torture, penning numerous columns and a book in which he made claims about useful intelligence gleaned from "waterboarding, stress positions, sleep deprivation, as well as threatening prisoners with execution, dogs, and electrocution" -- claims that were later retracted by the US government, which found that its torturers had lied about the usefulness of the intelligence they received after repeatedly simulating the execution of a suspect, subjecting him to more than 80 simulated drownings. 

Saccone's campaign website boasts of his experiences in Iraq "identifying, capturing, and interrogating insurgents." 

Saccone is the latest scandal-haunted, Trump-backed candidate whose manifest unfitness threatens to turn a safe red seat blue. He's no Roy Moore kid-fiddler, but like Moore, he advocates for eliminating the barrier between church and state. Saccone is backed by local billionaires who are flooding the airwaves with ads in support of his candidacy, while the Dem establishment has done little to support Democratic candidate Conor Lamb, despite Lamb's dynastic connection to the Democratic party (his grandfather was once Democratic majority leader of the PA state senate). But the region's local trade unions are still a powerful force, and they are backing Lamb aggressively, flipping away from the local AFL-CIO support of Trump in the 2016 election."

According to the newspaper, seven months later, in August 2006, Davis, McCain and Deripaska attended a dinner in Montenegro, whose governing party had a contract with the lobbying firm that Davis ran together with Paul Manafort.

“Afterward, a group from the dinner took boats out to a nearby yacht moored in the Adriatic Sea, where champagne and pastries were served, partly in honor of McCain's 70th birthday,” the Washington Post reported."

In a recent thread about Rep. Curt Weldon, Citizen92 and I compiled information related to the FBI's investigation of Rep. Curt Weldon. Given that the thread became rather lengthy, I am continuing it here.
One of the six locations raided by the FBI last month in connection with the Weldon investigation was the office of John J. Gallagher, a Philadelphia lawyer who has been described as a long time friend and associate of Weldon.
Gallagher reportedly introduced both Itera, the Russian gas company, and Saratov Aviation, another Russian company, to Weldon's daughter, Karen. The two Russian companies then became clients of her "consulting" firms, Solutions North America and Solutions Worldwide.
