Today June 7 is the anniversary of the Republican Parties tax cuts, an event that may be a future marker for America's decline into an insignificant banana republic.

Coatesville Bike Race-“There’s an estimated between 3,000 to 5,000 people who are going to be here.”

RDA Chairperson, Joseph Disciullo, “We would like to add to our agenda tonight Matt would like to discuss the bike race and what the RDA is doing. And people on the RDA especially with the coming bike race.”
RDA member Matt Baker, “So the latest update is; that we had Corley Pearce and David Collins who are two RDA volunteers. They… went to see the City Council and we explained what we are trying to do, got their blessing. It’s a big task. We’ve met with all of the groups; the Rotary, the City and obviously the RDA and the promoter. And we’re trying to, we’ve got a lot of things set but we’ve got a lot of things, intangibles that are in the air. We’re really working hard.
There’s an estimated between 3,000 to 5,000 people who are going to be here. So top down looking at it you’re going to have issues with parking; parking food, water depending on the weather that day. So we’re going to need to set up in terms of… the race itself, places, stations if you will where people can get something to eat or drink. Or what the kids want. Obviously the Ice Cream Festival but also other options as well because if there is a line to the back the concern is the people will come here and they’ll be standing in line and be waiting for refreshments and leave. So together we’re trying to work to come up with a common plan.
We met with Rob Barry on Friday with Gary Rawlings; we talked about it more in depth about the concerns about the parking itself and about having overblows. Because you’ve got a number of places that people are going to come in from, from the 30 Bypass, you’re going to have people who have never been to Coatesville before; so they’re going to come down and if we don’t have an overflow there that can go into another area we’re going to have problems.
We’re going to have people coming down 1st Avenue from West Chester; coming the “back way” and once the City locks down that particular area, the route, we’ve got to have a backup plan, where these people can go.
The next point is; how are the people going to get to the City and how are the people going to get home? So we need to talk about the possibility of reaching out to locals, like Krapf to see if there is any interest and if they can’t. So whether or not we can reach out to the school districts. And you know, we have a lot of people who work with the school districts so it is their community and maybe we are able to use some of the school busses.
We need between right around 10 minutes or under for back and forth to get people. Because with kids and if it’s hot they’re not going to stay here long if they have to wait longer, they’re out of here.
The other part is for the fireworks. Because this year will be the first year it’s actually on the 4th of July. So you would have people who would normally go somewhere else, they might actually stay in town and that’s going to increase the amount. We might not have a lot of people who leave at the end of the day. They might actually stay just to watch the fireworks. So how are you going to handle that?
So as you can imagine there is a lot of things going on. And obviously another part is the cooperative effort for advertising.
We have to get it out to the communities. And that doesn’t mean just like, bridge to bridge. But actually through either social media, through say, Facebook. Corley Pearce has set up a BlogSpot, a website for “To Celebrate Coatesville”.
There is a “Celebrate Coatesville” on Facebook. But more importantly the people who don’t read the Daily Local who don’t want Facebook but maybe travel from Lancaster to this area; we’re working on to see if we can get advertising on electronic billboards on Rt. 30 and also reach out to television and radio outside the City, say Lancaster, eastward over to, say Bucks County and New Jersey to get the word out."

2008 Attic fire, pile of cigarette butts, no windows or doors to outside, sounds like a fire code violation, right?
There was a fire in a completely enclosed attic apparently caused by someone smoking in the attic.
We saw a burned mattress taken out of the attic from a ventilation hole cut by firefighters along with a dresser and some other furniture. The bedroom furniture sat on the front lawn for weeks.
It’s a single family home that was rented to multiple individuals against the Coatesville Codes Ordnance.
From looking at the Modena Fire Company’s photo of what looks like a pile of hundreds of cigarette butts in the attic, it appears the alleged renter smoked in his attic “bedroom”. “Possible entrapment” was reported.
You would think that there would be some sort of codes or fire violation issued after the fire.
I asked if the Modena Fire Company issued a fire code violation. Chief Dowlin said that the fire was in Coatesville and the Coatesville Company would do that.
But back then Patsy Ray (AKA-Patricia A Cuneo, AKA-Patricia Taylor), was on the Coatesville City Council. Ms. Ray, PA State Rep. Tim Hennessey’s Legislative Assistant Linda Lavender and Tim Hennessey’s former Office Manager Lisa Johnson are allegedly friends of the homeowner.
I know about this fire because it's across the street and I’m looking at the house as I write this. The house has been quiet since the fire, it’s occupied again and the rooms are again most likely rented out to multiple renters.
But like I said, the house is quiet now. It’s not my neighbor that concerns me. It’s the “politics” or organized crime or whatever you want to call it in Coatesville and Chester County that concerns me.
Contractors, Doctors, Attorneys, retail store owners are still being advised that they “should register Republican so things go OK for them”.
Some addresses in Coatesville that seem to obviously be drug houses go untouched by police for years.
And I’m wondering what else went on during the reign of Chief Johnson.

Maybe change can come to the “Old Coatesville” West End Fire Company.

It’s not ‘snitching,’ it’s standing up for your community
Some people think Coatesville is just another Chester County village, that it couldn’t have organized crime as vicious and deadly as what exists in Baltimore or North Philadelphia. That’s dead wrong.
I’ve written extensively about Coatesville being the organized crime and drug depot for Chester County or Chester County’s “Little Sicily”. There is an alternative economy in Chester County. If say prohibition ended and all drugs were legalized I believe there would be a short lived economic collapse in central and western Chester County. That is car dealers, restaurants, churches and other local businesses would lose customers until those customers could replace the trickle down money from drug sales.
“Living in a place where families have known each other for more than 100 years can make you feel comfortable. But when it enables drug traffickers with operations that were set in stone decades ago to know all about all of your extended family it can establish an envelope of fear that covers the entire town.”

Some street dealers actually had to go get nine to five jobs to make up for their business losses during the arson fire period when Coatesville was crawling with undercover ATF and State Police. I assume there was less cash in some of the local church’s Sunday collections also. The infusion of undercover officers during the arsons hurt the drug business in Chester County but it mostly came back when they left.

When I went to the Courthouse in Chester County and asked around about a certain Coatesville resident there was someone waiting at my front door when I got back home. I think Coatesville residents that are witnesses to a murder know they can’t be seen in the Chester County Justice Center. That it could be fatal to someone back home.
I don’t think violent Coatesville drug kingpins should be tried in Commonwealth Court in Chester County. It’s just way too easy to intimidate witnesses and juries. But it’s just not possible to charge all of them federally.

They’re not bluffing on default.
We saw the Teabaggers try to shut down Government in Coatesville in 2006 and the city nearly burned down.
They intend to burn down the US economy in August. Burning down the US economy is the ten yard line to their goal of shutting down all government.
If Democrats give into killing Ryan’s kill Medicare, kill education, and kill infrastructure plan they’ll up the ante to killing Social Security.
Ryan and the Teabaggers intend to let the Nation default. If that sounds insane, well I know some of these guys and they really ARE insane.

An omnium is a multiple race event in track cycling. Historically the omnium has had a variety of formats. Currently, and for the 2012 Olympics, the omnium as defined by the UCI consists of the following six events:
