Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Oilmen and drug traffickers

Iran is a gangster, organized crime government. Bribes and payoffs from oil revenue keep it going and religion is reduced to a shield the gangsters hide behind. If the men in the oil refineries in Iran go on strike the government will not be able to pay its thugs and assassins and the government will fall.

If we in the United States were to adopt a program to raise gasoline taxes so that gas and diesel fuel was permanently set at above $6 per gallon the gangster run and operated governments of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Russia and others would collapse.

The money from oilmen corrupts governments and people much the same as the money from heroin does. We have seen it personified as W and Cheney’s oilmen thugs in the Whitehouse and their use of religion here as a shield to hide their corrupt plans for an oil empire. Something similar and many times more violent and oppressive is repeated in other countries. Oil companies and oilmen in them have a lot in common with illegal drug producers and traffickers.

“Coatesville Women United”

It is true in every society that women are pushed into a subordinate position by men. Most religions nearly always relegate women to the lowest rung on the ladder of their churches, mosques, synagogues and temples.

One half of our people are pushed down. And it is the half that mourns the deepest when our sons and daughters come to an early end.

I believe that women can be a powerful force for peace on earth.

Here in Coatesville how about a “Coatesville Women United”.

A Crazy Dream
By BOB HERBERT
In the documentary film “Pray the Devil Back to Hell,” a woman whose family had endured the agony of civil war in Liberia talks about a dream she had in 2003 in which someone urged her to organize the women of her church to pray for peace.
“It was a crazy dream,” she said.
Prayer seemed like a flimsy counterweight to the forces of Charles Taylor, the tyrannical president at the time, and the brutally predatory rebels who were trying to oust him from power.
