Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Linda Lavender Norris always gets out of trouble, does she have something on Republicans?

When I searched the Magisterial District Courts for Lavender, Linda Chester County 18 traffic tickets turned up.

Now only one docket a judgement against her for:
Adjusted Amount
Filing fees $114.00
Server fees $21.15
Costs $5.00
Rent in Arrears $5,243.67
This is a first for me. Records go back at least 10 years. I’ve never seen Commonwealth of Pennsylvania records disappear before.
No matter what Linda Lavender Norris seems to wiggle out of everything.

CrakPowerVille Did PA Rep. Hennessey have a role in the Coatesville Power Plant Plan?

Everything swirls around Hennessy's Coatesville Office

State Representative Tim Hennessey was allegedly censured by the PA House Republican Caucus for his long time Coatesville Office Business Manager Lisa Johnson having a crack cocaine manufacturing business operating under Hennessey's nose for about decade.

When she was a city council member Coatesville City Council President Patsy Ray was a regular guest in Hennessy's Office every weekday afternoon.

Ricky Saha's car was unmistakable. It was plastered with "Save our Farm" posters. We saw it parked at Hennessey's office at times from 9:00 pm until early in the morning. We saw Patsy Ray bringing reams of paper out of Hennessey's Office. Two days later an issue of, John Birch Society member and White Supremacist, Pat Seller's "Coatesville Recorder" would be on every doorstep in Coatesville. Did Sellers print his campaign broadsides on  the PA taxpayers dime?

Below is one page of the Pat Seller's "Coatesville Recorder". There were six issues of the "Coatesville Recorder" Some issues had six pages. All issues were four color, printed on a laser printer. There were enough printed each issue for every household in Coatesville plus extra issues. I estimated the cost of printing, not including the cost of distribution, to be somewhere between $30,000 and $60,000. Who paid for this? Did taxpayers pay to have them printed at Hennessey's Office?

"Linda Lavender is a special case."

It's illegal to run for Pennsylvania Magistrate Judge and simultaneously work for a Pennsylvania Legislator. But some people try anyway. You would think they would stop after it's pointed out to them in a Common Pleas Courtroom:

Old stuff but there are apparently a ton of people who don't know this:

"Linda Lavender is a special case. Lavender says that she does not work for Tim Hennessey but works for the Republican Caucus of the Legislature. When Lavender was asked by Judge Ott what she does at Representative Tim Hennessey’s office in Coatesville, she told Judge Ott that Hennessey’s constituents come to Tim Hennessey’s office in Coatesville with their problems and she tries to help them. She said that her paycheck says “Legislature of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania” on it. It’s my guess that since she is still working as Tim Hennessey's legislative assistant Lavender is by Commonwealth Law ineligible to run.

Is Linda Lavender Norris illegally inserting herself in the sale of Downtown Coatesville property?

Our tax base in Coatesville is mostly borne by homeowners.

One thing the City of Coatesville desperately needs is investors willing to begin new businesses in Coatesville.

In part the city needs the tax money generated and in part Coatesville residents need the jobs created.

Downtown Coatesville is the historic facade architecture section between 1st Avenue and 3rd Avenue in the City of Coatesville.

People are alleging that Linda Lavender Norris told Coatesville downtown business owners that they were not permitted to buy unoccupied properties for sale in Downtown Coatesville to grow new retail businesses.

Why would Linda Lavender Norris take the risk of illegally inserting herself in the sale of Coatesville Downtown property?

City of Coatesville’s snow removal was done by private contractors.

Several Coatesville homeowners cleared their streets with snow blowers

The City of Coatesville has no operating trucks that can mount a snow plow. The City of Coatesville is paying private contractors for snow removal.

And this is the first snowstorm this winter.

Watch your tax increase piled up in snow:

From talking to people it seems that most people don't know Don Wilkinson no longer works for the City of Coatesville.

I wonder if the cost of paying private contractors for snow removal exceeds the salary and benefits of former Public Works Director Don Wilkinson?

Former City of Coatesville Director of Public Works Don Wilkinson retired "under duress". He allegedly dared to "talk back to Coatesville City Council President Linda Lavender Norris".

I guess that thing about being "from Coatesville" is selectively applied by the Coatesville City Council.

Donald E. Wilkinson 1965 Football
As an athlete, as a student and as a school citizen, Don Wilkinson left quite a legacy in Coatesville. Now, nearly 40 years later, he continues to give something back to the community. It he calls "home."
Don was a three sport athlete, participating in football, wrestling and baseball. It was on the football field he excelled. He played both wide receiver and safety and was named to the all Ches-Mont second-team in his junior year.
As a senior, Don's baseball skills at first base were recognized with a selection the First Team All Ches-Mont squad. He continued to improve in football and was named to the First-Team All Ches-Mont team in both offense and defense. He was the recipient of the order of the Purple Heart, which signified him to be most outstanding Football Player in the Ches-Mont League.
During that season, the Red Raiders were the Ches-Mont Champions and Don was a co-captain of the team.
At West Chester University Don was named to the first-team all-conference team for three years. He also earned Honorable Mention for Small College All-American for three years as well. He was named best player of the week in the State Conference four times and broke his own record for pass receptions in the tangerine bowl (11) in 1967. "Wilkie" was listed in Who's Who for athletes in Colleges and University, and Who's Who for students in Colleges and University.
Don played semi professional football for Pottstown Firebirds for four years when they captured the Atlantic Coast Football League Championship.
Don taught and coached in the Coatesville area schools for 20 years. He is currently the director of public works/recreation for the city of Coatesville.

Will Coatesville City Council President Linda Lavender Norris drive a snowplow?

We lost Don Wilkinson as the head of the City of Coatesville Public Works.

The City of Coatesville has already canned or forced out City Manager Kerby Hudson, Public Works Director Don Wilkinson and Codes Officer Damalier Molina. All three had major shouting match disagreements with City Council President Linda Lavender Norris.

I believe Linda Lavender Norris is prone to outbreaks of narcissistic rage.

Linda has allegedly irrupted several times in public at least one time shouting "Fuck you" to Ed Simpson at a public meeting. Ask a DLN reporter.

Anyway a big snowstorm is coming.

I think it will not go well for Coatesville residents and businesses with Linda Lavender Norris allegedly micro-managing the Public Works Department.

Deep snow affects residents and all business, legal and street slingers, so Linda Lavender Norris's constituency might be pissed.

And the power is almost certainly going out.

EXELON is directly responsible for the repeated power outages here. EXELON’s company PECO stopped most tree trimming. Why is complicated, but PP&L in neighboring Lancaster, Berks and Lehigh County is still trimming.

I think EXELON is managing for profits over service to customers but I don't understand the technical details. It's more than storms. Our power goes out from equipment failures regardless of the weather.

Sunday January 24, 2016 3;42 pm. Power stayed on.
13th Avenue has one lane open. The photo is looking east to Caln Township. Caln Township streets are plowed. Will people in Coatesville need to wait for the snow to melt?

Hillary Clinton needs to somehow climb out of the “Too big to fail” cesspool her husband created:

You won't see much about this in the normal everyday media. Wall Street owns the normal everyday media. The same for the RNC and the DNC.

I like Hillary Clinton but she has a BIG Bill problem and it's got nothing to do with infidelity:

(Bill) "Clinton installed Robert Rubin and Larry Summers in the Treasury, which resulted in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which officially did in Glass-Steagall and the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, which left the derivatives market a laissez-faire Wild West (not to mention a disastrous strong dollar policy that was a critical and underrated factor in the bubble). He also reappointed Ayn Rand-acolyte Alan Greenspan, who has as much responsibility as anyone for creating the crisis, as Fed chairman—twice."

Republican candidates won't touch who created the guys that "Brought Death to My Hometown" because the Republican Party was in on it. Except for Donald Trump.
Bernie Sanders' campaign is almost entirely about putting the guys that "Brought Death to My Hometown" in prison.
So if it's Hillary Clinton vs. any Republican but Trump it's Wall Street vs. Wall Street. "Any way you look at it you lose."
If it's Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump Democrats have a huge problem. Trump has the back of people that hate the guys that "Brought Death to My Hometown", along with xenophobic racists.
If it's Bernie Sanders vs. Rubio or anyone but Trump,  it's the "People's Avenger" against Wall Street. It's a huge choice.
If it's Bernie Sanders vs. Donald Trump it's one hell of an election:A New Deal Democrat vs. A Fascist White Nationalist Republican. It would be the most important election since 1936.

The same and the others

I have discovered that the greatest happiness comes from the simple act of helping others.

It doesn’t even need to be other people. Feeding birds will bring happiness.
“Levinas has taught us that our responsibility for others is the foundation of all human communities, and that the very possibility of living in a meaningful human world is based on our ability to give what we can to others. And since welcoming and sharing are the foundation upon which all communities are formed, no amount of inhospitable nationalism can be consistently defended when confronted with the suffering of other human beings.”

Chester County Republicans favorite, Scott Walker is making Wisconsin a Tammany Hall crime syndicate.

Tammany Hall- Who stole the People's Money

"SHORTLY after his exit from an abbreviated presidential run last fall, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin returned to a more successful undertaking: dismantling what remains of his state’s century-old progressive legacy.

Last month, Mr. Walker signed a bill that allowed corporations to donate directly to political parties. On the same day, he signed a law that replaced the state’s nonpartisan Government Accountability Board, a body that is responsible for election oversight and enforcing ethics codes, with two commissions made up of partisan appointees. Now a new bill supported by Mr. Walker, which is expected to clear the Republican-dominated Legislature with a Senate vote soon, threatens to corrupt Wisconsin’s Civil Service…

Mr. Walker’s new Civil Service bill replaces anonymous exams with résumés, opening the door to political or racial bias that would prove almost impossible to detect because personnel files are not part of the public record.”

By adding the Civil Service bill, Mr. Walker brings Wisconsin closer to the achievement of a long-sought goal of the libertarian right: universal “at-will employment.” Unlike union workers or state employees, whose collective bargaining agreements or Civil Service rules generally require employers to demonstrate “just cause” for them to be fired, at-will employees can be terminated at any time for any reason. At-will employment is promoted by the Heritage Foundation and American Legislative Exchange Council, which disseminates model bills to state legislators benefiting its corporate members and conservative private backers.

"Every day you've been hearing at the success in Wisconsin...We can reduce taxes and pay for our roads. They're doing it in Wisconsin...My message is, it's possible to do it here. It was done in Wisconsin. There is no more union state than Wisconsin, where public service unions were born. There is no more Democrat state than Wisconsin. There is no more resistance to conservatism than in Wisconsin. And yet they got it done as in Indiana. We can do that here. That's what I would work for."

"KLAN PHOTOS" Make it clear how White Supremacists Pat Sellers & Bob Saucier got on the Coatesville School Board

Newcomers or younger people in Coatesville don’t know Chester County’s white supremacist history.

It’s personal for me. I knew some of the people who witnessed the lynching of Zachariah Walker.

It's frightening that there's a white supremacist revival here. They just don't call themselves Klan.

Do you find it the militia takeover of Federal property perplexing? A primer:

There are little armies called militias in countries around the world.

But the militia groups in the news such as the groups in Oregon are nothing like the militias in other countries. They are extremely odd and peculiar to the United States.

This is the best primer on what we call militia groups in the United States.

Racist extremists now use the internet. In 2005 in Coatesville they used paper and ink.

"Ammon Bundy, the figure at the center of an extremist antigovernment occupation of a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon, appeared to make an announcement on Twitter yesterday –– his struggle against the federal government was in the same tradition as Rosa Parks’ civil disobedience.

Coverage of the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge until then included many articles on the racial double standard between armed whites threatening violence while protesting the government and the peaceful, if confrontational tactics, of racial justice protests like Black Lives Matter.
The tweet about Rosa Parks hit a nerve for observers everywhere. Publications including The Washington Post, USA Today, Mediate, and The New Republic ran stories with headlines like “Oregon 'militia' leader says he's doing the 'same thing' as Rosa Parks." The problem? The Twitter account was a total fake.
Gizmodo was the first to discover another Twitter account, @TheSaintNegro29, that was crowing about the success of their fraud and posting correspondences they had via the account with journalists. That account, with its obviously racist name, was marked with racist images of the major players in the Oregon standoff. Diving deeper into other images the account tweeted, the racist images got worse and worse.
The publications that ran stories on the fake account soon ran corrections. But this was not the first time a extremist troll was successful in hijacking a media moment. And in all likelihood, it won’t be the last."

The fake “news” in Coatesville was called the “Coatesville Recorder”

TUESDAY, MARCH 11, 2014

Poor Coatesville, the 1/2 Black Town that was Manipulated by a White Nationalist JBS Chapter Member

The Coatesville Recorder was the publication of John Birch Society Chapter Leader Patrick Henry Sellers. It was circulated intermittently since the 1990s when Sellers was on the Coatesville Area School District School Board.

In 2005 it became a four color four to six page flyer delivered to every home in Coatesville paid for by ??? Paid for in part by Pennsylvania taxpayers???

I watched the Wereth Eleven-About the all African American 333d U.S. Field Artillery Battalion

As a boy who grew up in the 1940s in a town that sent many people off to war including several of my uncles, Hitler and the Nazis were not exactly boyhood heros.

In my 72 years I came across a number of people who think Hitler was not such a bad guy. One "Hitler wasn't a bad guy" statement came from a former artillery soldier in Hitler's army. Sort of understandable.

The other times it was from just plain right wing folks in America. That's harder for me to swallow.

I strongly suspect that John Birch Society Chapter Leader and former Coatesville resident Pat Sellers is one of those Hitler loving people

Pat Sellers would have had a much better chance of winning in 2014, Republicans made a dramatic slide to the extremist right wing.
It seems to me that being called a Nazi would not insult Pat Sellers.

Pat Sellers stood at the podium in the Coatesville City Council Meeting Room just after Dick and Ricky Saha shouted "Nazi" at Coatesville City Council member Bill Chertok. I suppose he was trying to defend the Sahas when he said "Hitler wasn't so bad..." caught himself and stopped speaking. Dick Saha apologized in a Daily Local News article. Ricky Saha refused to apologize in that same article.

Pat Sellers first run for Congress was in 1996.

He had support and the blessing of Larry Pratt.

LARRY PRATT
Larry Pratt is a gun rights extremist who also advocates a theocratic society based on Old Testament civil and religious laws, and a pivotal figure in the militia movement.

Both of the Patrick Henry Sellers for Congress correspond to the rise of anti-government militia groups in the United States.

SEE:

Pat ran against Jim Gerlach in 2010.

In 2014 Jim Gerlach was out of the race. He retired. It seemed like a good chance for Pat Sellers to make another go at running for Congress.

In just those 4 years Republican politics made a dramatic slide to extremist right wing. Pat Sellers would have had a much better chance of winning in 2014.

W's SS to hedge fund swap was DOA. Sooo,GOP Statehouses like PA are swaping teacher & police pensions to hedge funds

George W. couldn’t give our Social Security over to his credit default swap Wall Street & Swiss HSBC money laundering for terrorists banker pals. But PA Republicans are making up for it by passing teachers & police pensions to hedge fund managers.

Whenever something with cash in it is “reformed” by Republicans you know there’s a lot of stealing going on.

"In the video clip, the Senator described the pension overhaul as a:A reform the was praised by the two largest chambers of commerce in Pennsylvania.  Praised by national organizations like Pew Foundation and ALEC, a conservative organization.
After he claims that the bill was supported by the organizations, Corman takes shots at public sector unions for killing the bill, even though more than half of Republicans voted against it.
In 2013, the Pew Foundation released a FAQ on “Why Pew Works with States on Pension Reform,” and in the questionnaire, the organization states why they are “parenting with the Laura and John Arnold Foundation.  At the time, the organization stated:

We share the goal to help states design and adopt retirement systems that are fair, affordable and fiscally sustainable—while at the same time preserving governments’ ability to recruit and retain a talented public-sector workforce. We realize there is no one-size-fits all solution so we offer policymakers information that can help them offer retirement security to public workers,  protect taxpayers and maintain the state’s ability to deliver important public services.

Around that same time, Matt Taibbi from the Rolling Stone exposed John Arnold for being a hedge fund manager who has profited off of state and municipal pension overhauls.  A few months later, Philadelphia native and investigative journalist David Sirota reported that the “Pew Center on the States, without mentioning that Arnold is financing Pew’s pension research with a $4.8 million grant

A month after State Senator Jake Corman admitted that the Pew Foundation and ALEC both praised Pennsylvania for it’s approach on pension reforms, State Senator Jake Corman appeared on WITF Smart Talk, a local National Public Radio and Public Radio International affiliate, and cited ALEC for calling Pennsylvania “the leader in pension reform.”

Take a listen to the audio below.  Disclaimer, State Senator Jake Corman was choking back the word “ALEC” but eventually came around to calling the organization by it’s proper name.  The American Legislative Exchange Council.

The FBI lays an electronic siege on the Y'All Qaeda Reality Show-They’re nothing without internet access.

I can't help comparing the Bundy Ranch thing with the Saha Farm thing in Coatesville.

Too many similarities. It brings back memories.

Dick Saha and Cliven Bundy are both smooth talkers when they speak to the press.

The main difference is Dick Saha is no longer a threat to the people of Coatesville.

His primary John Birch Society henchman, Pat Sellers, Moved to Texas.

The Guardian
Authorities plan to cut off power to militia at occupied Oregon refuge
"Armed militants will begin their third day at the wildlife refuge and have vowed to remain for months in protest at over the treatment of two local cattle rancher"

I think it won't be violent.

I know this kind.

I know what they need.

It's not .50 Cal sniper rifles and AR-15s.

This guy made a Martyrdom Video.
Seems final. Seems like he expects a violent ending, right?
It’s fake.
It's political propaganda like everything else these people do.

Just like the actual ISIS what they need most is internet access. Access for their political propaganda. They may have military style firearms and uniforms but they are just politicians pushing an extremist political agenda.

AR-15s, sniper rifles & army outfits are props.

The FBI’s siege on VanillaISIS is electronic.

The FBI knows they're nothing without internet access.

Femen political activists show their boobs. Y’ All Qaeda political activists show their  assault rifles.

It won't get violent at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge. But their Property Rights political propaganda machine might provoke some crazy gun nut to act:

SALON almost got it- "Vanilla ISIS," / "Y'all Qaeda" isn't shrinking & it's in Chester County, PA not just Outwest.
