I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.
They would say they're doing their job. Maybe it's a job that attracts people inclined to help others and that doing it right sometimes it takes a heroic effort.
I've worked with Tom Hogan and I know Judge Cody, Jim Audette and Ron Yen. They are all what you would call good people.
Just barely outside the City limits of Coatesville in Caln Township, police in military attire with military weapons crashed into a 70 year old woman's home looking for someone she had no connection to.
They were working on information form an informant who gave allegedly gave them false information.
It was the wrong house.
Caln resident Elwood Dixon:
"And my other question is what happens when the police were doing this to you; who do you call? Because if you don’t know what’s going on and nobody tells you what’s going on who do you call?"
I spoke to the victim of the "mistake" and I recorded the Caln Township Meeting where the incident was discussed. Outside of the Caln Township meeting, nothing ever came about the incident. No legal action was ever taken. Except from an alleged on the spot apology from a SWAT officer, as far as I know the entities involved; Philadelphia Police, U.S. Marshals, Pennsylvania State Police, Coatesville Police and members of the Chester County District Attorney's Office never addressed the incident. A Daily Local News reporter was at that Caln Township meeting but as far as I can find my blog is the only place you can find any information about it. SEE MY POST BELOW:
