People helped by them call them heroes.

They would say they're doing their job. Maybe it's a job that attracts people inclined to help others and that doing it right sometimes it takes a heroic effort.

I've worked with Tom Hogan and I know Judge Cody, Jim Audette and Ron Yen. They are all what you would call good people.
It's an honor to know them.

This is a very well done article:

Ask residents of Carver Court-Any one of us could be caught in the gun barrel end of the War on Drugs.

Just barely outside the City limits of Coatesville in Caln Township, police in military attire with military weapons crashed into a 70 year old woman's home looking for someone she had no connection to.

They were working on information form an informant who gave allegedly gave them false information.

It was the wrong house.

Caln resident Elwood Dixon:
"And my other question is what happens when the police were doing this to you; who do you call? Because if you don’t know what’s going on and nobody tells you what’s going on who do you call?"

I spoke to the victim of the "mistake" and I recorded the Caln Township Meeting where the incident was discussed. Outside of the Caln Township meeting, nothing ever came about the incident. No legal action was ever taken. Except from an alleged on the spot apology from a SWAT officer, as far as I know the entities involved; Philadelphia Police, U.S. Marshals, Pennsylvania State Police, Coatesville Police and members of the Chester County District Attorney's Office never addressed the incident.

A Daily Local News reporter was at that Caln Township meeting but as far as I can find my blog is the only place you can find any information about it.

It was the wrong home.
