Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Headlines WILL read, THE TORTURED MIND OF AN AFGHAN CIA BLACK OP DEATH SQUAD SNAPS.

He kills Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, 20 & badly wounds Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24. President Trump illegally put them on the streets of D.C., exposed to attack.

At a Thanksgiving press conference at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump addressed the Afghanistan illegal immigrant accused of killing one National Guard member and critically injuring another.

JEFF MASON, REUTERS: And you said you've made changes for Afghanis' ability to apply for asylum. Do you blame all Afghans for this one man's mis-- not mistake, but his heinous actions?

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: No, but we've had a lot of problems with Afghans because they had a lot of them coming in on these planes. Again, I show you this picture. We had a lot of them coming in on this, these planes that are, look at them. There was no checking.

They just poured into the plane. And Many of these people are criminals. Many of these people are people that shouldn't be here. And many of them have been gotten out. I mean, we've gotten out some, a lot of the people that, you know, we've taken a lot of them out of here. But they came in --

REPORTER: But many, but they came in legally, right?

TRUMP: Yeah, I know this deal-- story. Many are wonderful.

REPORTER: Yeah, I said many are here legally, though. What should they think in terms of their possible future:

TRUMP: Well, they can't be happy, okay? They can't be happy. Because what's taking place between that, if you look at Somalia, they're taking over Minnesota. And they are, we got a lot of problems with the gangs, with all of the things taking place in Minnesota. We have an incompetent governor, a dope, we have a dope governor. They can't be happy about what's going on.

And if you talk about the Afghans, you know, there's a problem because so many bad ones came in on the planes, they just walked on. Whoever the strongest people were, physically in a way. But whoever the strongest, they got on the planes, there was no checking. They just swamped the planes, they took off. We had no idea who they were.

Yeah, do you want to ask a question behind?

REPORTER: Me?

TRUMP: Hi.

REPORTER: Sir, what do the Somalians have to do with this Afghan guy who shot the national?

TRUMP: Nothing, but Somalians have caused a lot of trouble. They're ripping us off for a lot of money. There's a tremendous amount of money going back to Somalia.

What the hell are we paying money to Somalia for? But they're ripping off our country at a level that few people have been able to see before. That's about the only thing you talk about competence.

We have Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our country and our Constitution. And she comes from a country with practically it's practically no country. It's devastated. It's crime ridden. It's a mess. It's a disgrace.

And we took their people, tremendously. We're not taking their people anymore. We're not taking their people and we're getting a lot of their people out because they're nothing but trouble. OK, thank you very much, everybody.

REPORTER: I have a question about this asylum claim that is being floated. Of course, you just detailed that this suspect was flown under the Biden administration, but was he granted asylum under your administration?

TRUMP: When it comes to asylum when they're flown in, it's very hard to get them out. No matter how you want to do. It is very hard to get him out, but we're going to be getting them all out now. Thank you very much.

Trump on Afghan Refugees: "So Many Bad Ones Came In On The Planes," "The Strongest" People "Swamped The Planes"

Rahmanullah Lakanwal’s path from a village in Afghanistan to the corner in Washington, D.C., where authorities say he opened fire on two National Guard troops was forged by America’s longest war.

He was 5 years old when the U.S. military invaded after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and as a young man he enlisted with a “Zero Unit,” an Afghan paramilitary force that worked with Americans.

That connection appears to have given Mr. Lakanwal a ticket out of Afghanistan when the Taliban toppled the American-backed government in 2021, allowing him to flee with his wife and children. They began a new life in Bellingham, Wash., where he worked as a delivery driver and his children played soccer in the hallways of their modest apartment complex.

On Thursday, the authorities were scrambling to understand what motivated Mr. Lakanwal to forgo that new start, drive cross-country to Washington, where officials say he fatally shot one Guard member and critically wounded another outside a Metro station…

At some point, he joined a Zero Unit, according to a person briefed on the investigation and an Afghan intelligence officer familiar with the matter. Zero Units, which were formally part of the Afghan intelligence service but operated outside the usual chain of command, were largely recruited, trained, equipped and overseen by the C.I.A., according to Human Rights Watch.

These units specialized in night raids and clandestine missions; Taliban officials and human rights groups described them as “death squads.” Human Rights Watch said it had documented several instances in which the units were responsible for “extrajudicial executions and enforced disappearances, indiscriminate airstrikes, attacks on medical facilities, and other violations of international humanitarian law.” The C.I.A. has denied such allegations of brutality, saying they were the result of Taliban propaganda.

Mr. Lakanwal’s unit was based in Kandahar, a city that was devastated by bombings and assassinations during the war. According to an intelligence officer, one of Mr. Lakanwal’s brothers was the unit’s deputy commander.

A childhood friend, who asked to be identified only as Muhammad because he feared Taliban reprisals, said that Mr. Lakanwal had suffered from mental health issues and was disturbed by the casualties his unit had caused…

He received asylum from the U.S. government in April, according to three people with knowledge of the case who were not authorized to speak publicly.

For several weeks this past summer, according to information provided by Amazon, Mr. Lakanwal worked as a driver for Amazon Flex, delivering packages as an independent contractor. His last delivery was in August.

Kristina Widman said she owned a property in Bellingham that was at one time rented to him and his family. The rental had been set up through World Relief, Ms. Widman said.

In a statement, World Relief declined to say whether it had helped Mr. Lakanwal or his family and said it did not sponsor Afghans brought to the United States since 2021. Instead, the group said it provided services “to those assigned to us” by the government.

Calin Lincicum, a former neighbor, described the apartment complex where Mr. Lakanwal had lived most recently as a rent-subsidized home for “hard cases” — people with disabilities, fleeing domestic violence, in recovery and older residents on oxygen.

He and other neighbors said Mr. Lakanwal’s family kept to themselves, but he recalled once discussing Afghan food with Mr. Lakanwal’s wife. Some neighbors, emerging from the building into the gray Thanksgiving afternoon, said they felt unsettled to learn that the suspect had lived in the same complex.

Rachael Haycox said she had been asleep inside her third floor unit in the Bellingham apartments when the sound of a raid woke her around 3 a.m. on Thursday.

“We thought they were ICE at first,” Ms. Haycox said. “But they yelled, ‘F.B.I.’ and that they had a search warrant.”

She said a drone and a wheeled robot were sent into the apartment for the search, which lasted about two hours. By Thursday afternoon, law enforcement officers had gone, and nobody responded to knocks on the now-cracked apartment door…

My Substack Post - James Pitcherella

It appears that over a thousand FBI analysts who Pam Bondi locked in to review the Epstein files have PTSD from looking at thousands of photos & videos of old men with naked little girls.

“Cash Patel actually wanted the entirety of the files unredacted to himself…It was assumed that he had an ulterior motive. That he wanted to reveal the identity of the victims to Trump allies.”

“So with this many eyes on the files, it was inevitable that what was being seen would spread around the office like wildfire. According to sources, there were people who had to stop, get up, walk around, take breaks because the videos and photos they were seeing were absolutely gut-wrenching…

One person described hours and hours of yacht parties and photoshoots and massages of clearly underage models. Countless pictures of men unknown to them…

AND Republican congressmen want those files published.

Looks like the Democratic Senators who surrendered to Republicans are only a sentence in the history of the demise of the Republican Party.

“At least 100 House Republicans want to vote yes on the release of the Epstein Files. So they can get ahead of what’s coming.”

Former Marine Corps pilot Amy McGrath is running for U.S. Senator for Kentucky.

John Goetz was Betsy’s boss at the Southeast Pennsylvania American Red Cross. Betsy & me visited him at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville.

His Cessna was hangared at the Coatesville, PA, G.O. Carlson Airport.

On the way back from training airline pilots in instrument navigation at Dulles International on a Sunday night, his plane’s engine failed on approach to the airport. He crashed, landing upside down in a tree-covered area. He shut off the fuel & electricity.

He got out the ELT emergency transmitter. He gave himself first aid for his compound fracture of his femur. John was an author of the American Red Cross First Aid Manual. He crashed less than a mile from the airport. It took days to find him.

SE PA American Red Cross assistant Director & former Marine Corps A-4 Skyhawk pilot John Goetz applied a tourniquet to his compound fracture femur and saved his own life. Marine Corps Pilots ARE resilient. They bounce back.

There was a Philadelphia Channel 6 News story about John’s crash and days days-long efforts to find him. I can’t find it. If anyone does know how to get the video, let me know.

“Kentuckians deserve someone battle-tested and ready to fight for them on day one. I’ve spent my life stepping up when the mission was tough and the stakes were high, first as a Marine and now for Kentucky. I’m ready to complete the mission,” McGrath wrote in her post launching the campaign.

McGrath said in her video that Kentucky’s open U.S. Senate seat “will decide the balance of power in the Senate.

GOP: NAZI, NAZI, NAZI, NORMIE. It’s Not Bob Dole’s GOP Anymore. The Republican Party Is A Mix of Heritage Foundation, Slightly Open Closeted NAZIS; Nick Fluentes NAZIS, Fencewalker Tucker Carlson NAZIS, With A Sprinkle of Adam Kinzinger Republicans.

You know, Germany, look, they put themselves into a position in Adolf Hitler’s chiefly responsible for this, but his whole regime is responsible for it, that when they went into the east in 1941, they launched a war where they were completely unprepared to deal with the millions and millions of prisoners of war, of local political prisoners, and so forth that they were going to have to handle. They went in with no plan for that and they just threw these people into camps. And millions of people ended up dead there. You know, you have, you have like letters as early as July, August 1941 from commandants of these makeshift camps that they’re setting up for these millions of people who were surrendering or people they’re rounding up and they’re- so it’s two months after, a month or two after Barbarossa was launched, and they’re writing back to the high command in Berlin saying, “We can’t feed these people, we don’t have the food to feed these people.” And one of them actually says ‘Rather than wait for them all to slowly starve this winter, wouldn’t it be more humane to just finish them off quickly now?”

After taking that detour to whitewash the Holocaust, Cooper returned to his indictment of Churchill:

BELOW - Italics are mine, James Pitcherella:

“Nick Fuentes, a 27-year-old white nationalist livestreamer, routinely uses his platform to deny the Holocaust, praise Adolf Hitler, denigrate women as “baby machines,” and make wildly racist statements.

Fuentes’ abhorrent views have propelled him to far-right celebrity status, and he presides over a movement of “groypers”—young, highly online incels, neo-Nazis, and racist shitposters who follow him. Over the years, about his ultimate goal: dragging mainstream conservatism into the bowels of the far right, to a place where all Republicans feel that they can throw up a Hitler salute or drop the N-word without consequence. And this week, Fuentes edged ever closer to that goal.

He did so thanks to Tucker Carlson, who had Fuentes as a guest on his show. The segment included Fuentes—without challenge from Carlson—opining on “the Jews,” who he called “unassimilable,” and rolling critiques of Israel into antisemitic conspiracies. The interview racked up nearly 5 million views on YouTube.

It has also divided the right. Some conservative commentators criticized Carlson for hosting Fuentes, noting that he was a longtime adversary of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, the founder of conservative youth movement Turning Point USA who was assassinated in September. Commentator Dinesh D’Souza surfaced old texts in which the late Kirk Fuentes as “vermin” and said debating him was a “massive mistake.” Other critics included far-right activist Laura Loomer, who is Jewish and who has feuded with both Carlson and Fuentes in recent months. Sen. Ted Cruz, without mentioning Carlson by name, that it was a “cowardly and complicit” decision to platform “someone who says Adolf Hitler was very, very cool.”

Others defended Carlson’s decision to platform Fuentes, mainly on free speech grounds.  Overall, the divided response to the Fuentes interview somewhat after the racism and antisemitism in young Republican leaders’ group chats.

But the biggest green light Fuentes received following the Carlson interview came from the Heritage Foundation, a prominent conservative think tank that was founded in 1973 and has been enormously influential over American conservatism and the Trump administration. Its positions are considered bellwethers for the broader conservative movement.

In a on Thursday, Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts dispelled rumors that they were preparing to distance themselves from Carlson for hosting Fuentes. “The Heritage Foundation did not become the intellectual backbone of the conservative movement by canceling our own people or policing the consciences of Christians, and we won’t start doing that now,” said Roberts. “I disagree with or even abhor things that Nick Fuentes says, but canceling him isn’t the answer either.” Roberts said critics of Carlson were part of a “venomous coalition.”

The right, including Roberts and the Heritage Foundation, might not love Fuentes and the groyper movement. But the events of this week suggest that Fuentes, once a pariah, is now being brought into the big tent of Republican politics. There are no limits on how far right you can go, so long as you’re willing to join the fight against the center and left.

This is the culmination of a yearslong effort by Fuentes and the groypers to build power and influence in mainstream politics…

Fuentes has proved enormously resilient over the years, . He has grown his audience, despite deplatforming and demonetization. After he was exposed as a participant in the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Fuentes distanced himself from the swastika-waving contingent of the far right and pursued a new optics-friendly suit-and-tie aesthetic that he hoped would appeal more to disaffected young conservative men.

Fuentes tried to pitch himself and his band of racist followers, who became known as groypers, as the authentic voice for young conservatives—and went to war against Kirk’s college organization Turning Point USA, who were, comparatively speaking, more politically moderate. Fuentes cast TPUSA as a RINO organization—Republican in Name Only—that was overly beholden to cancel culture, and urged his supporters to harass, dox, and troll Kirk and his members. These became known as the “groyper wars.”Fuentes also saw victory in some of the questions that Vice President J.D. Vance fielded at a TPUSA event this week, including questions like “Is Trump controlled by Israel?” and “Why did you marry a Hindu?”

“The Groypers have taken over,” Fuentes wrote on X. “We run this.”

The Heritage Foundation Frantically Reassures Supporters That Being a Neo-Nazi Won’t Get You Canceled

Tucker Carlson gave a softball interview to Nick Fuentes, an open white nationalist and Holocaust denier.

“In exchange for Trump’s support, Vance shed the identity of the man who once defended immigrants and Muslims and became a sycophant—much like Mike Pence before him. But unlike Pence, Vance wasn’t going to be submissive. Instead of Trump’s lapdog, he set out to become his attack dog.

His rise accelerated after a sniper killed right-wing provocateur Charlie Kirk on September 10. Vance encouraged people to expose and ruin anyone who celebrated Kirk’s death: “Call them out. And hell, call their employers.” He then flew on Air Force Two to retrieve Kirk’s body from Utah and bring it to Arizona, speaking at his memorial and portraying Kirk as a Christian martyr. “Believers gain eternal life, while unbelievers eternal damnation… born twice, die once. Born once, die twice,” he proclaimed.

More recently, Vance traveled to Israel to support a Trump-backed peace deal after the 2023 Hamas massacre. When the Knesset passed a symbolic bill calling for annexation of the West Bank—an idea opposed by the U.S.—Vance called it a “very stupid political stunt” and said he was “personally insulted.”

At the same time, he defended young Republicans who’d been exposed for racist, anti-Semitic, and violent comments in a private group chat. They were just “kids” making “stupid jokes,” he said—echoing Trump’s “very fine people” defense of neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. These “kids” were 25 to 34 years old, and politicians from both parties condemned them. But Vance saw an opportunity to flex Trump-style.

He then attacked New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani after Mamdani shared how his Muslim aunt had feared Islamophobia after 9/11. Vance mocked him: “According to Zohran, the real victim of 9/11 was his auntie who got some (allegedly) bad looks.” It was a distortion—but one crafted to score points against both socialism and Islam.

Vance also lied—another Trump tactic—about the government shutdown. He claimed Democrats wanted to spend “hundreds of billions of dollars on health care benefits to illegal aliens.” In reality, undocumented immigrants don’t qualify for those benefits. Democrats were trying to maintain subsidies for citizens using the ACA. Without them, premiums could jump 30 percent—harming the working-class voters Vance once claimed to champion.

Learning from Pence’s mistakes, Vance is snarling, not kneeling, as he positions himself to succeed Trump in 2028. Early polling suggests it’s working—but the race is wide open. In a recent YouGov poll testing ten potential successors, he topped the list, but right behind him was someone he should worry about: Donald Trump Jr. The actual heir.”
