Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

My friends Norm & Janet Jones retired from government service jobs. Norm worked for the DOD. Janet was a Colonel at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda MD. If Trump’s Stalinesque Government was in place they wouldn’t have considered Government Service.

Norm was a microwave engineer. He got his degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He was in ROTC and was sent to Fort Benning GA.

I got a call from Norm. As a 2nd Lieutenant, he was discharged from the Army Infantry immediately after basic training at Fort Benning. The Army Infantry had too many officers. Norm, his first wife, Mary, and 2 yr. Old Suzie needed a place to stay for a week or two while he looked for a job and a house to live in.

That week or two turned out to be 3 months. I liked Mary’s home cooked pizza and Suzie running around our home in Philly.

His first job was at Philco-Ford designing radios for cars. He designed a radio. The finance department made changes. Norm said the radio won’t last. Finance at Philco-Ford said that didn’t matter. It only needed to work at the dealership. Norm wanted to design stuff that worked. He decided to work for the DOD.

Norm’s team in Reston, VA designed the U.S. military satellite communications system still in use today. The Global Hawk drone uses the system Norm designed. Norm’s satellite communications system made the first Gulf War under President George H.W. Bush easier for the NATO Allies.

Norm’s wife Janet was a Colonel at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda MD. Her floor did research on premature babies.

If President Trump’s upending of the federal policy was in place when Norm & Janet were young and looking for work they wouldn’t have considered government service.

We might not have a military satellite communication system. We might not have the pin point Google maps on our mobile devices that filtered down from Norm’s work.

Janet would have worked in a private hospital and treatment of premature babies would have been set back.

"On Tuesday morning, Moriah Lee, an analyst at NASA, joined a virtual town hall to learn what all the orders would mean for her small team, which monitors and audits projects in the space program. The acting supervisors, people she had known personally for years, made it clear to everyone that they were not inclined to show flexibility, she said.

Gone was the weekly speaker series that had been organized under the diversity program, which had brought in deaf people, combat veterans and others to share their experiences. Gone was her ability to live in Nashville and go twice a month to an office two hours away in Huntsville, Ala.

After the meeting, she and her colleagues went back to their jobs. They were rattled, she said, but not afraid. “The people who are acting most in fear are the ones in authority,” she said.

But the change to remote work, combined with the other directives, was just too much for her. And so Ms. Lee sent in her notice: Nearly six years after she began working for the federal government, she was resigning."

Trump is so like Amon Goeth- Schindler’s List Amon The Good pardons you!

Schindler's List - Amon Goeth - Balcony Scene

Schindler's List - Amon The Good pardons you!

Schindler's List | "I Didn't Do Enough”

In this scene you can see Schindler leaving in the car with the truck loaded with cigarettes ahead of Schindler’s car. The book describes how cigarettes were used to bribe people. I thought that was cool & maybe some of it could have been in the film.

Do you think it’s unfair to compare President Trump with the well documented monster Amon Goth?

Trump and Goth grew up in well off families. Both are well known anti-Semites both are well known for being cruel and heartless.

Both never saw military action. Both were consumed by corruption.

Goth spent the last days of WWII in an insane asylum. I suspect Trump will end his presidency in a state of insane dementia.

ELON MUSK'S SIEG HEIL DECLARED WE ARE NOW NAZIS . I’m saddened and angered by the Republican Party revival of Nazism. My Uncle Fred landed on Omaha Beach June 6, 1944. Under constant fire he took his boots off 3 months later. AMERICANS DON’T LIKE NAZIS

ITALIANS DON'T LIKE NAZIS:

‘I’m Not With The Nazis, How Bout That?’: AOC Smears Elon Musk Over Hand Gesture:

This is a still from an 8mm film of my 1st Birthday party July 26, 1944. My Uncle Fred was fighting Nazi troops across France after landing on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944.

One Christmas night my Aunt Angelina, Aunt Martha, Uncle Lou & Uncle Fred sat at my grandmom’s kitchen table.

Uncle Lou was a sergeant in Patton's Army. He was in the Battle of the Bulge.

Uncle Fred was a combat engineer.

I said to Uncle Fred and Uncle Lou.

“Thanks for what you did.”

Uncle Fred,

“What do you mean?”

“Thanks for what you did in the war. If you didn’t do it we might all be speaking German now.

My Uncle Fred had to leave the table.

Uncle Lou said Freddy had it hard.

My Uncle Fred was a combat engineer who landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day. He kept his boots on for three months until they got to Paris. He was constantly under fire for three months.

Uncle Fred Pitcherella lived his last years at the Veterans Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. Someone there told me that what hung over him, his greatest regret, was being in the hospital in England when his troop wired a bridge and it blew up prematurely killing all his friends. He thought if he was there it would be done properly.

Looking around in the attic I found black curtains. I asked my Mom, "What are these." She answered with a look of fear. They were  black out curtains in case Germany bombarded Coatesville PA.

People on the Boardwalk at Atlantic City watched the fireballs of freighter ships torpedoed by U-Boats.

Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor 4 days later Germany declared war on the United States.  Americans responded by enlisting in the military. Most of the male teachers in my high school were veterans.

I grew up surrounded by the heroes of WWII.

Young men contemplating violent acts have been told by convicted criminal TRUMP IF YOU DO VIOLENCE IN MY NAME I WILL PARDON YOU. “Kris Goldsmith, TASK FORCE BUTLER IS TRACKING EXTREMIST ORGANIZATIONS PROUD BOYS & OTHERS THAT TRIED TO OVERTHROW DEMOCRACY

There are ways you can fight back against Trump's violent tyranny. Mine is this blog.

Kris Goldsmith:
Why small, local actions matter more than ever in the fight for democracy.

My curiosity of right wing extremist terrorists began long before we moved back to Coatesville.

At the funeral of my Uncle Tony’s wife, her father, overwrought and angry with grief told me that my wife’s grandfather was the child that pushed Zack Walker back into the fire with a fence post. That in the 1930 he led the KKK in Coatesville PA.

Just before I married Betsy her grandfather invited me to his gun club to shoot clay birds. I didn’t know rumors about his KKK involvement. I was being interviewed. At some point Betsy’s grandfather nodded to his companions. I passed his test. Scary men. I became aware that there could be a shooting accident.

Coatesville 1911

In the 1980s my family lived in Macungie PA. A KKK/Nazi group was meeting near Macungie PA in a barn. A barn that became isolated when a sinkhole took away normal access to the barn. That KKK leader was arrested later in Philadelphia PA.

We moved to Trappe/Collegeville PA. in the 1990s. A cross was lit on the yard of a Black family in a new subdivision in full view of students including my children & parents leaving a Perkiomen Valley School District Vikings home game.

We moved a little northeast of Trappe to Lower Frederick PA. I became a planning commissioner in Lower Frederick and found that KKK/violent Skinheads lit crosses in meetings along the Perkiomen Creek.

It's my understanding that the people who have cross lighting ceremonies along the Perkiomen Creek in Northwest Montgomery County PA are Racist Skinheads.

You can learn Mandarin from the TikTok replacement Xiaohongshu (Translation “Little Red Book.” Mandarin will be useful if China takes command of the rubble of the United States left when the Trump criminal organization is done stealing from it.

Look at it this way. Our grandchildren will have high speed train service across country.

The southwest will be covered with solar panels. Wind turbines will generate electricity in areas of steady winds.

The only roadway vehicles will be electric.

Global temperature will very slowly decrease.

East China or whatever the Chinese decide to call their United States won’t contribute to global warming.

People living here will speak Mandarin and English have meticulously controlled lives and almost zero freedom but they will be alive & have food.

Maybe in 1,000 years a country based on ancient America with democracy will appear.

“Its existing Chinese users have jokingly advertised themselves as the Americans’ “new Chinese spies,” started administering Mandarin lessons and formed in-app group chats for “refugees” to get the lay of the land. They have warned that they intend to collect a tax from foreign users (the price tag: You must share a picture of a cat).”

As a TikTok ban looms, hundreds of thousands of Americans casting about for a new video-sharing app have migrated to Xiaohongshu, a social media platform that translates as “Little Red Book,” the American nickname for a classic compendium of quotations from Chairman Mao. It has all played out like a global practical joke on the American government: Threatened with exile from TikTok over concerns of Chinese interference, its users have simply scrolled to a different Chinese app, one whose name evokes the Chinese Communist Party.
