Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Democrats need to stop-"wallowing in these radical conspiracy theories that make them appear unhinged,"

Donald Trump didn't win, Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Committee lost. Democrats need to admit that and move on. And drop all links to the Clintons.

I think Trump is a modern day Mussolini. A Mussolini who will inherit a presidency with terrifying police surveillance powers - SEE: THE DARK SIDE OF VR -Virtual Reality Allows the Most Detailed, Intimate Digital Surveillance Yet

Trump will if he is allowed, shut down all opposition. SEE:

A Mussolini who can communicate instantly world wide, using Twitter.

DEMOCRATS, WAKE UP!

"I think it’s a very dangerous time for the United States, and it’s one of the reasons why I’m hoping Democrats find their footing and be come a lot more focused and reasoned and stop sort of wallowing in these radical conspiracy theories that make them appear unhinged, because Donald Trump needs a cohesive and focused and effective opposition." -Glenn Greenwald

"GLENN GREENWALD: It’s possibly legitimate, depending upon what the evidence is. But because we don’t know what the evidence is, all we can do is speculate. So, assume they have the most conclusive evidence possible, that they literally have a wiretap of Vladimir Putin personally on a telephone call or through an email ordering the hacks of the DNC and Podesta in order to help Donald Trump. Just let’s fantasize that that’s the evidence that they have. Is there a good reason for them not to want to publicly disclose that? Of course there’s a good reason, which is that it would blow their methodology for how they’ve accessed the communications at the highest level of the Kremlin.

The problem, however, is that whatever legitimacy they might have for wanting to keep this evidence a secret, we, as citizens, and we, as journalists, are then put into a position where we either have to blindly believe what it is they’re claiming—notwithstanding their long history of lying and deceit and error, we just say, "We appreciate the fact that you can’t show us this evidence. We’re willing to blindly put our faith in the accusations that you’ve made, and believe them to be true, even though you can’t show us the evidence"—or we say, "As citizens and as journalists, look, we understand that you can’t show us this evidence, but because we can’t see the evidence, we’re not willing to blindly assume these accusations to be true and then resurrect a Cold War and pursue aggressive and bellicose policies the way John McCain and Lindsey Graham and Democrats in the Senate want to do, because we don’t see evidence that what you’re claiming is true." And I think that’s the dilemma, is that, as journalists and citizens, we need to see evidence before believing claims from institutions that have proven over and over that they’re willing to lie and mislead.

AMY GOODMAN: Glenn, we have to break, then we’ll come back to this conversation. Glenn Greenwald, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, one of the founding editors of The Intercept. This is Democracy Now! We’ll be back with him in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in a minute."

STORY JANUARY 05, 2017

"GLENN GREENWALD: I mean, I think it really remains to be seen, but there are definitely fundamental changes taking place. If you look, for example, at recent polling, what you find is that the CIA is now one of the most admired and defended institutions among Democrats, while Republicans don’t like the CIA and actually prefer Vladimir Putin even to Barack Obama. You have radical shifts taking place in coalitions, in alliances, in alignments, and it can—it’s very unpredictable how it can play out. Sometimes instability could produce positive outcomes. Trump abrogated the TPP. He wants to limit Boeing and Lockheed and the amount of money that’s spent on them. He wants to bring jobs back to the U.S. But it can also have very dangerous outcomes, as well, because of its unpredictability. And so, I think it’s a very dangerous time for the United States, and it’s one of the reasons why I’m hoping Democrats find their footing and be come a lot more focused and reasoned and stop sort of wallowing in these radical conspiracy theories that make them appear unhinged, because Donald Trump needs a cohesive and focused and effective opposition."

Glenn Greenwald: Mainstream U.S. Media is Culpable for Disseminating Fake & Deceitful News on Russia

“Putin made me lose” fake news is in the dumpster with Saddam’s “Weapons of mass destruction” fake news

The "It's not her fault, the Russians made Trump win, fake news could collapse in a big heap over everything proposed by Democrats and make Trump's takeover go smoothly.

Every day Democrats waste to prove Hillary and the Democratic Committee lost by no fault of their own is a day that Republicans grow in power.

Republicans will soon scurry about under a blanket of real news of how Hillary's "journalists" made up stories about Russia so that Hillary Democrats could save face.

The Intercept

January 4 2017, 9:28 a.m.

"In the past six weeks, the Washington Post published two blockbuster stories about the Russian threat that went viral: one on how Russia is behind a massive explosion of “fake news,” the other on how it invaded the U.S. electric grid. Both articles were fundamentally false. Each now bears a humiliating Editor’s Note grudgingly acknowledging that the core claims of the story were fiction: the first Note of which was posted a full two weeks later to the top of the original article, the other of which was buried the following day at the bottom.

The second story on the electric grid turned out to be far worse than I realized when I wrote about it on Saturday, when it became clear that there was no “penetration of the U.S. electricity grid” as the Post had claimed. In addition to the Editor’s Note, the Russia-hacked-our-electric-grid story now has a full-scale retraction in the form of a separate article admitting that “the incident is not linked to any Russian government effort to target or hack the utility” and that there may not have even been malware at all on this laptop.

But while these debacles are embarrassing for the paper, they are also richly rewarding. That’s because journalists – including those at the Post – aggressively hype and promote the original, sensationalistic false stories, ensuring that they go viral, generating massive traffic for the Post (the paper’s Executive Editor, Marty Baron, recently boasted about how profitable the paper has become).

After spreading the falsehoods far and wide, raising fear levels and manipulating U.S. political discourse in the process (both Russia stories were widely hyped on cable news), journalists who spread the false claims subsequently note the retraction or corrections only in the most muted way possible, and often not at all. As a result, only a tiny fraction of people who were exposed to the original false story end up learning of the retractions.

Baron himself, editorial leader of the Post, is a perfect case study in this irresponsible tactic. It was Baron who went to Twitter on the evening of November 24 to announce the Post’s exposé of the enormous reach of Russia’s fake news operation, based on what he heralded as the findings of “independent researchers.” Baron’s tweet went all over the place; to date it has been re-tweeted more than 3,000 times, including by many journalists with their own large followings:"

There's already a movie about the Trump Organization. It's a 3 parter called "The Godfather".

Someone or some group in a federal branch would risk everything to remove Trump from office, but I think it can be done. More on that below:

There's already a movie about the Trump Organization. It's a 3 parter called "The Godfather". It's not the first time a political office was modeled on organized crime:

Former CCRC Chair and Chester County Commissioner Teddy Rubino ran a public office in the style of Angelo Bruno's South East PA and South Jersey Mafia Organization.

“During Mr. Rubino's tenure, party candidates were selected by a show of hands, and Mr. Rubino sat at the podium overlooking his flock, noting who did not vote his way. If someone bucked the system, it was widely understood that a relative or in-law holding a county patronage job might find himself suddenly unemployed…

Then, in 1977, Mr. Rubino pleaded guilty to having extorted $6,400 from architects who were awarded a $130,000 contract to convert a former West Chester hospital into a county government annex…He ultimately served 4 1/2 months of a six- month sentence in a federal penitentiary, and he was ordered to do community-service work at the Coatesville Veterans Administration Hospital upon his release. As part of Mr. Rubino's plea agreement, prosecutors read into the record statements that the FBI had taken from businessmen and politicians who had dealt with Mr. Rubino. They indicated that he had established set prices for those doing business with the county, ranging from milk supplies to the leases on court offices. Some of the money went to the county GOP.”

A group of “Reform Republicans” tried to change the organized crime style political patronage of the Republican Party back when Theodore Rubino was convicted and sentenced. They had some success. SEE: in the shadow of paoli hospital

It was not possible to remove Theodore Rubino from office from within Chester County government.

Rubino was brought down by the federal government on one of thousands of extortion charges, $6,400 from architects who were awarded a $130,000 contract.

It appears that President Trump's business will be inextricably connected to his presidency. He will take office while in violation of the Constitution:
"No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state." - From Article 1, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't believe anyone inside the federal system will risk trying to remove Trump from office.

President Trump, will have at his disposal the most intrusive surveillance state ever conceived with more complete and detailed surveillance of all people in the works.

I believe that Trump should be removed from office soon. There could come a time when attempting to remove him from office is a very dangerous task.

He can be removed from office from outside of the federal system. Not every state has a Republican Attorney General.

His hometown, Whitefish MT doesn’t approve. Chester County PA would welcome Nazi Richard Spencer with open arms.

“Rumors and news fly fast in Whitefish, where the full-time population hovers around 6,000. The news, or rumor, was that CNN had expected to find a town where Spencer felt welcome, but the reading of an anti-discrimination statement at a packed City Council meeting a few days earlier had changed the story.”

Op-Ed - The town that white supremacist Richard Spencer calls home

I remember listening to Pat Sellers at a Coatesville City Council meeting beginning to argue the merits of Adolf Hitler and cutting himself short before he said something controversial. Now watching him arguing for the Nazi side on “Morning Joe” is entirely plausible.

I know that Richard Spencer would be welcomed if he decided to relocate here.

Everyone that sat though Coatesville City Council meetings during our long decline created by White Nationalist/John Birch Society Chapter Leader Pat Sellers and anti-government, private property-land use advocate Dick Saha knows white nationalist Richard Spencer would be embraced with wide open arms here in Chester County, PA.

I don't think Spencer is moving, but we have do have a County Sheriff on the starting line up of Sheriff Richard Mack’s Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association.

The Constitutional Sheriffs and Oath Keepers are potentially more violently dangerous than Richard Spencer's Alt-Right Nazis.

Knowing ChesCo Sheriff Welsh has their back, will the "OATH KEEPERS" come "locked and loaded" to polling places?

Oath Keepers Prepare For Post-Election False Flags, Black Lives Matter IED Attacks

By Miranda Blue | November 4, 2016 10:32 am
"The anti-government group Oath Keepers called on its members last week to form “incognito intelligence gathering and crime spotting teams” on Election Day to root out voter fraud. But the group’s concerns run even deeper. In a webinar last night hosted by Oath Keepers president Stewart Rhodes, Oath Keepers leaders counseled members on how to prepare for pre- and post-election “civil unrest,” which they said would almost certainly come from supporters of Hillary Clinton.
A man who goes by the name of Navy Jack, whom Rhodes describe as a lead intelligence officer for Oath Keepers and who is a frequent blogger on the group’s website, explained that Donald Trump is certain to win the election unless he is stopped by “large-scale voter fraud.” If Clinton’s allies think she won’t win, he said, they’ll find a way to cancel the election. If the election moves forward and she still doesn’t win, he said, America should be prepared for “provacateured post-election unrest and riots” or “false flag” attacks, the blame for which would be placed on right-wing extremists, thus deligitimizing Trump’s victory and justifying the invoking of emergency powers and preventing the smooth transition of power."

“We are deeply disappointed in today’s verdict, which puts our park rangers and scientists at further risk just for doing their jobs,” Jennifer Rokala, executive director of the Center for Western Priorities, said in a statement. “The outcome of today’s trial will undoubtedly embolden extremist groups.”

The army to set our nation free

"Former Sheriff Richard Mack has a plan to roll back gun control, tax laws and land-use constraints, one defiant local law enforcement official at a time

Dozens of sheriffs around the country — including John Hanlin, the sheriff of Douglas County, Oregon, the site of last October’s mass shooting of eight students and a professor at Umpqua Community College — joined Mack in an aggressive letter-writing campaign to the White House after the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, in which they vowed not to enforce any “unconstitutional” federal regulations that tightened gun restrictions."

Intelligence Report: 'Constitutional sheriffs' movement spreads, promotes defiance of federal laws
August 03, 2016

"A movement made up of sheriffs claiming to be the highest law enforcement authority in the country is growing nationwide as it exploits hot-button issues such as gun control to encourage sheriffs to defy federal laws they don’t like, according to the Summer 2016 issue of the SPLC’s Intelligence Report, released today.

The cover story, “Line in the Sand,” details the growth of this radical ideology since 2009. The movement, formed around an organization called the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA), is a phenomenon rarely, if ever, seen in the United States – a concerted, long-term effort to recruit law enforcement officers into the antigovernment “Patriot” movement.
