Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Like drug dealers & murderers? Linda Lavender Norris is your girl in Coatesville City Council

Most of the government/drug dealer connections in Coatesville are blessedly not now public officials including Richard Legree and Lisa Johnson.

Richard Legree was chair of CCRC District 14 and a State Constable.

I think Linda Lavender Norris is a hanger on from the old days when there were two basic political entities in Coatesville, those who go along with the drug traffickers and those who are working against drug traffickers.

It's now apparent to me that Linda Lavender Norris has shown where she stands.

I wrote this in 2009:

The two basic political entities are those who are go along with the drug traffickers and those who are working against the drug traffickers. It does not matter whether they are Democrats or Republicans; the big differences in politicians here is whether they go along with the drug scene or not. One caveat to keep in mind is that there are many naïves who do not understand how things work here.

There is a separate underground economy that operates on trickle down money from drug trafficking in Coatesville. When the undercover ATF and DEA people were here because of the arson, much of the drug trafficking stopped. The legitimate local business here suffered; some people did not have the cash to their pay bills.

There is no long standing drug trafficking business anywhere that does not have support from public officials. Read; Police Politics Corruption “The mixture dangerous to freedom and justice” by Colonel Frank McKetta Retired Pennsylvania State Police.

On the surface Coatesville seems like an ordinary Pennsylvania town. But a drive down any main street on a Friday or Saturday night will tell you that this is a huge drug trafficking town. It is a beautiful town with great potential and wonderful people but one that is held hostage by long time drug traffickers with political connections. I call it “Little Sicily”.

If a shooting occurs in front of several people in Coatesville right now; chances are “nobody saw it”. Much of the tips that law enforcement does get in Coatesville comes from new residents. Coatesville is a city of about 12,000 residents with the infrastructure for 20,000 residents. New residents without long time family connections in Coatesville cannot be easily intimidated by drug traffickers. The USDoJ is well aware that a redevelopment of Coatesville that brings in new people may be the end of the drug trafficking and the terror hold that it has over Coatesville. The drug traffickers are also aware of that fact.

Election of people not connected to the drug trafficking political establishment here will help but what I think Coatesville and Chester County really needs is a full investigation of the city by the USDoJ. Until that happens we will continue to see articles like this one in the Daily Local News:

The article is extremely difficult to find on the DLN website, so this is the Daily Times version:

Chester County Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh attended anti-immigrant rally

"Chester County Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh attended the December 2014 anti-immigrant sheriff rally and press conference in Washington, DC organized by Sheriff Thomas Hodgson of Bristol County, MPA":

"Campaigning on an anti-immigrant platform is hardly a vogue far-Right strategy limited to those in the Beltway.
Across the country, some local sheriffs – apparently as concerned with provoking fear among their constituents as they are with actually protecting them – have built their careers on it. County Sheriffs Paul Babeu, Sam Page, and Chuck Jenkins, for example, have solidified their reputations as anti-immigrant hardliners far beyond the boundaries of their respective jurisdictions.
And they did so by aligning themselves closely with the flagship group of the organized anti-immigrant movement, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).
With his recent announcement to hold a rally of sheriffs in Washington, D.C., on December 10th, Sheriff Thomas Hodgson of Bristol County, Massachusetts, has moved in earnest to join the ranks of those aforementioned – just as he did at this summer at FAIR’s “National Sheriffs Boarder School and Tour.” Together, it seems, they aspire to become the next Sheriff Joe Arpaio."

I knew Chester County has a lot of right wing extremists among Republican Party members, state and local candidates and elected officials.  I’m stunned by this.  It's frightening that Bunny Welsh as the Sheriff of Chester County is on the books in the LEADERSHIP of an anti-government right wing extremist organization.
I know Bunny Welsh , at least I've met her and I like her.
 Say it ain't so Bunny.
"
WHO IS THE CSPOA?"
“We will take America back, Sheriff by Sheriff, County by County, State by State.”
-Sheriff Richard Mack
This statement is the driving force and mission behind CSPOA. Sheriffs and Police Officers are the last line of defense standing between the overreaching Federal Government and your Constitutionally guaranteed rights. Across the nation, we are all witnesses to the Federal Government’s blatant intrusions. We must draw a firm line in the sand which will not be crossed. CSPOA will not back away from that line, it is our duty to preserve individual Liberty at all costs and we are not intimidated by the powers that be. Sheriffs and Officers who follow the Constitution line by line possess the power to shield against the Federal assault on American Citizens rights. OUR protection from THEM is our responsibility and mission.”

“Ever since the notion of the supremacy of the county sheriff became popularized, it has continued to remain attractive — though when people hear it, they don’t understand that what is behind it is violent lawlessness and vigilantism,” said Daniel Levitas, author of The Terrorist Next Door, a book that chronicles the racist underpinnings of the militia movement of the 1990s. “That’s what Richard Mack stands for when you strip all the window dressing away: lawlessness and vigilantism.”

Coatesville Centennial HERITAGE DAY on October 17th was a great day.
There was so much that I didn’t get to see and do everything.
I did manage to get enough stuff together to make a short video of the Lukens Historic District and the World Trade Center Steel Tree at Steelworkers’ Memorial Coatesville PA:

I’m not sure of the barbecue chief’s name. If anyone does put it in the comments.

The war in Kosovo by way of Brooklyn. The U.S. is the world's largest gunrunner country.

Florin Krasniqi bought a 50 cal. sniper rifle in a gun shop in St. Mary’s Pennsylvania for “elephant hunting”.  It was used by the Kosovo Albanian rebel group known as the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and it’s probably still being used.

Eventually plane loads full of U.S. purchased firearms and ammunition were shipped to Europe on UPS Air Freight and smuggled into Kosovo.

The “Iron Pipeline” along the Atlantic Seaboard is international.

“THE BROOKLYN CONNECTION” is from the book:

"Be not Afraid, for You Have Sons in America"
by Stacy Sullivan.

"Florin Krasniqi immigrated to the United States from Kosovo in 1988 by sneaking across the Mexican border in the trunk of a white Cadillac. Once in America, he started his own business, fell in love, married, and bought a house. But he did not forget the country he left behind. In 1996, when one of his cousins helped start the Kosovo Liberation Army in the hope of securing Kosovo's independence, Florin chipped in to help.

Over the next two years, Florin helped direct a network of Albanian émigrés across the U.S., raising millions of dollars for the rebel force. Soon he began visiting gun shows across America and running weapons and other supplies to the rebels. All the while he was also lobbying some of Washington's most powerful politicians. Eventually he helped recruit American volunteers, some of whom left schools and colleges in the New York area to fight for a homeland they hardly knew.

Be Not Afraid, For You Have Sons in America tells the remarkable story of how a small group of young men in Kosovo backed by a network of émigrés in the United States started a guerrilla army that lured the world's most powerful military alliance into fighting their war and changed the course of history in the Balkans forever."

"The KLA, formed in 1991,[60] initiated its first campaign in 1995 when it launched attacks targeting Serbian law enforcement in Kosovo, and in June 1996 the group claimed responsibility for acts of sabotage targeting Kosovo police stations. In 1997, the organisation acquired a large amount of arms through weapons smuggling from Albania, following a rebellion which saw large numbers of weapons looted from the country's police and army posts."
