THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY HAS THE BEST ELECTION ISSUE SINCE BARRY GOLDWATER TALKED UP USING NUCLEAR BOMBS. IN 2024 RUSSIA & CHINA DON’T NEED NUKES. THEY HAVE TRUMP IN THEIR POCKETS.

The first presidential election I voted in was in 1964. My dad took me to register to vote. The voting age was 21.

When John F. Kennedy won in 1960 I thought I’m going to vote for JFK!

I was in school in York PA. A town where you were prodded by young men with John Birch Society leaflets in the York Town Square. The TV said Kennedy shot. I looked out the window at the York Town Square a usually bustling area of town. It was completely silent. No one said a word.

We went to the theaters to see Dr. Strangelove. One of my teachers who was a WWII Navy veteran went into a depressive slump.

We thought the world was on the razor edge of nuclear annihilation. We now know it actually was SEE:

This was the TV ad that won the election in the largest landslide ever:

The United States presidential election was the 45th quadrennial presidential election. It was held on Tuesday, November 3, 1964. Incumbent Democratic President Lyndon B. Johnson defeated Republican Senator Barry Goldwater in a landslide victory. Johnson was the fourth and most recent vice president to succeed the presidency following the death of his predecessor and win a full term in his own right. Johnson won the largest share of the popular vote for the Democratic Party in history, 61.1%, and the highest for any candidate since the advent of widespread popular elections in 1824.”
