"When I first listened to Bruce Springsteen's ;Jack of All Trades' I cried like a baby. That 'Jack of All Trades' is my Dad.
In the run up to the 2016 elections hate and fear is manifest on all sides, even non-voters and people who ignore elections are concerned.
That hate of course includes the 60% Republican xenophobic, "Christian", anti-government racists who see Donald Trump or Ted Cruze as their national savior.
But there is a universal malaise, a solid rational base for that hate and fear that grips all of us.
The loss of friends and family members in needless and very long wars that we were tricked into supporting by people who would profit from those wars, fear of losing all that you have if you get sick, steady loss of real income over 4 decades, fear of terrorist attacks, fear that your children will be shot and killed in school, fear that ends won't meet and like so many others you could be homeless. We had 15 years of disappointment and fear.
There's an underlying hate that's universal. It's hatred of the Wall Street bankers that caused the depression of 2007 and ruined so very many peoples lives…

Most terrorist attacks in the United States for about the last 17 years are almost exclusively right wing terrorist attacks. Their politics is almost exclusively white supremacist. The stuff they believe in ranges from plain old Southern racist KKK bigotry to unbelievable tinfoil hat stuff like believing that white people are descended from space aliens.

I believe we are entering a time when not only right wing extremists with nonsense Nazi style beliefs will, out of desperation, take to violent actions.
It's more like revenge against people they consider to be oppressing them than political resistance.

The wealthy, especially Donald Trump’s wealthy associates, most Republicans and some Democrats are creating a world of a very few extremely wealthy people, a tiny middle class and a preponderance of poor and extremely poor people.
That world cannot stand for long:
- The wealthy will go gently, with reforms like increasing the minimum wage and guaranteed health care for everyone.
- Or they can go hard and violently, their lives taken and their homes burned.
The "Extremism experts" are too locked in to following extremist groups to see that just plain ordinary people can pick up an assault rifle & ammo for $600 and blaze away at any republican or Wall Street banker in his sights.
