About one half of the "audience" - "page views" on my "CoatesvilleDems Blog" came from former Soviet Bloc nations for several months until about 10 days before the election. I'm not sure when it began.

Now and then I get a spike in my stats from Coatesville Dems Blog from a Russian "Audience". It seems to coincide with posts on domestic terrorism.
There are a few connections between U.S. & Russian extremists. But not of much significance. But could it be people hiding their identity?
I don't know how to or even if I can identify a viewer of my blog.
I usually don’t check my stats. Sometime in September I noticed a doubling of page views. I thought it was because of the coming elections. A few weeks later I looked under “Audience” and found that about 1/2 of the “page views” came from former Soviet Bloc nations.
I knew that teenage science wizard hackers that attack Western corporations are viewed as as national heroes in former Soviet countries. See:

I was skeptical of the claim that Russian Intelligence was involved in manipulating our elections.
I’m not so sure now.
The countries where my blog is viewed are under "Audience" in Google Stats. For about 3 months it would be something like, 1636 page views per week - United States and 1600 page views for Ukraine and Russia. The other countries would make up about 100 page views. The page views for Ukraine and Russia dropped like a switch was thrown a few weeks before the election. I’m not sure when the Eastern Bloc stuff began.
There has been a recent uptick in views from former Soviet Bloc nations:
I post about local political corruption, organized crime and extremists.
I have some connections to U.S. intelligence and friends with top secret clearance. I’m a Democratic Committee person. I have friends connected to the peace movement in Philadelphia during the Vietnam War. I am in no way a big player of any sort, but somebody in the intelligence community could probably gather all that and might assume I have some sort of valuable information.

Why the relationships between Russia and President Elect Trump are so very important at this moment:

It would be a highly unusual move, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a bad idea.

Taking Donald Trump’s position — that we should just ignore the question of Russian hacking and “move on” — would be a disaster.
Relying on a hazy war of leaks from the CIA, FBI, various politicians, and their staff is an equally terrible idea.
A congressional investigation would be somewhat better, but that would take years — like the investigations of the intelligence on Iraq and weapons of mass destruction — and would be fatally compromised by the Democrats’ political timidity and GOP opposition.
The only path forward that makes sense is for Obama to order the release of as much evidence as possible underlying the reported “high confidence” of U.S. intelligence agencies that Russia both intervened in the election and did so with the intention of aiding Trump’s candidacy."
