Trump did a great service. He took the suit off Republicans and exposed the Nazi underneath.

In 2012, when black people in Coatesville voted for Tim Hennessey in his north Chester County KKK district which then included Coatesville, they didn't understand Republicans had gone all out Nazi.

While Tuskegee Airman Red Tails were killing Nazis in the skies over Germany, back home racism was split about evenly among whites of both parties.

And there were Republicans back home who adored Adolph Hitler:
“The British and the Jewish races, for reasons which are not American, wish to involve us in the war. Their greatest danger to this country lies in their large ownership and influence in our motion pictures, our press, our radio, and our government.”.  – Charles Lindbergh
Until the 1960s Democrats needed votes from segregationists in the Deep South to win national elections.

Then Martin Luther King Jr. made a deal with President Johnson, Democrats abandoned segregationist Democrats, and Richard Nixon put his "Southern Strategy" in effect.
Reagan kicked it over the goal post. Nixon's former press secretary Pat Buchanan and the John Birch Society campaigned for Fascism while it cooled slightly during George W. Bush's Administration.
When Democrats gave us a black president the Republican Party went all out Nazi.
But most people couldn't understand that.

Now thanks to Donald Trump we know Republican is just a code word for Nazi.
