Are Panama Papers & Unaoil timed for U.S. elections?

Will these massive international bribery and money laundering scandals bring down a U.S. presidential, senatorial or congressional candidate?

Maybe the question should be how many?

Dick Cheney is up to his eyeballs in the Unaoil corruption scandal.  He could have used the CIA to funnel contracts to Halliburton.

I think it’s certain that public officials in the United States will be indicted in these criminal investigations. 

Will it touch the presidential elections?

It seems the only presidential candidates not effected by either scandal are Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump
