In the 2013 Election there were 44 write in votes for Member of Council 5th Ward, presumably for Linda Lavender Norris.

"Campaigning on an anti-immigrant platform is hardly a vogue far-Right strategy limited to those in the Beltway. 

Across the country, some local sheriffs – apparently as concerned with provoking fear among their constituents as they are with actually protecting them – have built their careers on it. County Sheriffs Paul Babeu, Sam Page, and Chuck Jenkins, for example, have solidified their reputations as anti-immigrant hardliners far beyond the boundaries of their respective jurisdictions.

Bunny Welsh the Chester County Sheriff is a member of the Leadership of the CSPOA (Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association).

I knew Chester County has a lot of right wing extremists among Republican Party members, state and local candidates and elected officials.  I’m stunned by this.  It's frightening that Bunny Welsh as the Sheriff of Chester County is on the books in the LEADERSHIP of an anti-government right wing extremist organization.  

 I know Bunny Welsh , at least I've met her and I like her.

The war in Kosovo by way of Brooklyn. The U.S. is the world's largest gunrunner country.

Florin Krasniqi bought a 50 cal. sniper rifle in a gun shop in St. Mary’s Pennsylvania for “elephant hunting”.  It was used by the Kosovo Albanian rebel group known as the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and it’s probably still being used.

Eventually plane loads full of U.S. purchased firearms and ammunition were shipped to Europe on UPS Air Freight and smuggled into Kosovo. 

The “Iron Pipeline” along the Atlantic Seaboard is international.

USS Lexington(CV/CVA/CVS/CVT/AVT-16), nicknamed "The Blue Ghost", is an Essex-classaircraft carrier built during World War II for the United States Navy. Originally intended to be named Cabot, word arrived during construction that the USS Lexington (CV-2) had been lost in the Battle of the Coral Sea. She was renamed while under construction to commemorate the earlier ship.^[4] She was the fifth US Navy ship to bear the name in honor of the Revolutionary WarBattle of Lexington. 

Lexington was commissioned in February 1943 and saw extensive service through the Pacific War. For much of her service, she acted as the flagship for Admiral Marc Mitscher, and led the Fast Carrier Task Force through their battles across the Pacific. She was the recipient of 11 battle stars and the Presidential Unit Citation. Following the war, Lexington was decommissioned, but was modernized and reactivated in the early 1950s, being reclassified as an attack carrier (CVA). Later, she was reclassified as an anti-submarine carrier (CVS). In her second career, she operated both in the Atlantic/Mediterranean and the Pacific, but spent most of her time, nearly 30 years, on the east coast as a training carrier (CVT). 

Lexington was decommissioned in 1991, with an active service life longer than any other Essex-class ship. Following her decommissioning, she was donated for use as a museum ship in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2003, Lexington was designated a National Historic Landmark. Though her surviving sister ships Yorktown, Intrepid, and Hornet carry lower hull numbers, Lexington was laid down and commissioned earlier, making Lexington the oldest remaining aircraft carrier in the world.

The Republican Party died and was buried alongside Nelson Rockefeller. No amount of dressing up can bring it back. 

In its place is a Smoke & Mirrors Party controlled behind the curtain by the Koch brothers and some less grandiloquently wealthy players.

The Koch controllers are one issue, make us wealthy with our coal, gas & oil. Everything else the Smoke & Mirrors Party promises is fake.

Landlords Patterson NJ - Landlords Coatesville PA

In 1998 and later in 2008 the City of Coatesville PA was in about as bad shape as Patterson NJ is now. Coatesville has changed a lot since 2008. 

Landlords are not created equal.

I've become acquainted with landlords like Charles Florio in Philadelphia and in Coatesville. They along with individual homeowners change neighborhoods. Government can create the framework for change but the collective efforts of individuals make it happen. 

Florio’s aim is to renovate and rent multifamily residential buildings, he said. He works in the city six days a week, out of an office on Rosa Parks Boulevard and Hamilton Avenue. But he has struggled to keep his properties secure, let alone clean or rentable.  

“If you look at some of my properties on Governor Street, you would say, straight up, ‘You are a slumlord,’” Florio said.  

He meant this figuratively — some of his houses appear to be in disrepair — mostly the result of break-ins from people seeking to steal valuable materials, like copper wiring and plumbing.

Some West Chester based landlords play a different game in Coatesville.

It’s basically buy at Chester County tax auctions, don’t spend a penny on the property, collect rent, mostly through the Housing Authority of Chester County’s Section 8  and maybe let the county have it back without paying the full amount for the property:

That game has changed in Coatesville. It’s a harder game to play since the Housing Authority of Chester County has cleaned house:

Coatesville is digging out of the hole that I think was partly created by the drug business in Chester County. Landlords that buy homes at auction, don't keep them up and pay off public officials are part of the drug business. 

I think the Cokeville, I hope the Cokeville days are behind us.

With a collapsed economy and shrinking middle class, Coatesville, Pa., represents small-town America. Now, the cocaine market is the only industry that's booming. Is this our nation's future?

The Democratic Party leadership moved right but Democrats stayed in place.

It's amazing that the political press and political professionals don't get that basic fact. 

After the Civil Rights Act Republicans made a severe turn to the right wing. 

With the election of Bill Clinton the Democratic Party also moved right. The plan was to capture the votes of independent voters and Reagan Democrats. 

But registered Democratic voters were the same FDR New Deal Democrats and sons and daughters of FDR Democrats. 

Hell will freeze over before we see another Republican President. 

Bernie Sanders is a near incarnation of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. 

Senator Sanders is only "left wing" to Republicans, Democratic Party leaders and the political press.  

Bernie Sanders is a clear representative of the Democratic Voter Base. Senator Sanders reflects the Democratic voter. He's not the outlier that the political press calls him. 

Hillary Clinton is a representative of the Democratic Party base. 

There is a difference between the Democratic Party Base and the Democratic Voter Base. The political press community doesn't seem to understand that. 

Bernie Sanders and Admiral Sestak get that difference.
