Once Costello finishes his fusillade of self adulation, his message on how he will conduct his campaign in liberal but Republican owned Chester County comes through:
"We know that the key to winning this district is to be seen as someone who is open minded. Who is willing to listen to others. Not be too terribly doctrinaire. Or throw up a lot of fiery rhetoric.
That's a way to lose.
The way to win is to be a principled conservative. To use common sense.
To make people believe that you are willing to listen to them.
But when it comes down to make the tough decisions, be on the right side of the issues."
