“Nothin will ever happen to me, I can’t go to prison.”

For about a year, along with the thousands of people that drove by Saint Cecilia Elementary School at 6th Avenue and Lincoln Highway, I watched Richard Legree Jr. standing in the crosswalk on his cell phone. It was obvious that he was making arrangements to sell drugs. I think he believed he could never go to prison since his dad was among other things the chair of the local Republican Committee. He got a surprise when he was arrested. Richard Jr. went to the Federal Detention Center on Arch St. in Philly instead of a local Magistrate Judge.

What I'm getting at is that people in various positions in Coatesville appear to have the same, “Nothin will ever happen to me, I can’t go to prison.” attitude.

Almost all of the time they're correct. They don't go to prison and are not even arrested. 

The Coatesville School District is constructing a school district run health care facility. The company that will manage the health care center is Integrity Health. Integrity Health’s other facility is at the Toms River, NJ school district.

Toms River is different from the Coatesville Area School District it's larger, it’s in New Jersey and when millions of dollars disappear from the school district someone is caught and convicted.

"TRENTON — The last of four defendants in a bribery scheme that brought down longtime Toms River Regional Superintendent Michael J. Ritacco drew a federal prison term Monday, as did a former Toms River mayor who evaded taxes in an unrelated crime that shared a link with the corruption conspiracy.  

Insurance broker Frank L. Cotroneo, 63, of Chester Township was sentenced to three years and a month in prison by Judge Joel A. Pisano in U.S. District Court, Trenton for his role in the Ritacco scheme.  

He also was ordered to pay $3.2 million in restitution to the Toms River Board of Education and to forfeit $9.1 million to the government."
