Eric Quick Sr. is not qualified to be on the ballot for Coatesville City Council.

He registered to vote in Coatesville on December 28, 2012. He registered to vote in East Brandywine Township on June 17, 2012.
The City of Coatesville City Charter requires at least one year of residency in the City of Coatesville for at least a year before running for election to the Coatesville City Council.
No one caught it before the ballots were printed.
I'm sure that Mr. Quick was unaware of the requirements to run for City Council.
The facts are irrefutable. I'm not sure if it needs to go to court or if the County Commissioners will not allow his name on the General Election ballot in the fall.

Chapter 2. CHARTER
Article II. City Council
§ 2-202. Qualifications for office.
A member of the City Council, hereinafter referred to as a "Council member," shall be a citizen of the United States, a qualified voter of the city and a resident for at least one year preceding nomination; must retain such status during the term of office for which elected; should not have been convicted of any crime classified as a misdemeanor of the second class or higher; and must not otherwise be disqualified from office by the terms of this Charter or by laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
