Much of the extreme right organizations are domestic terrorists. The hate the government speech of Palin, much of Fox reporting and some high ranking Republicans has become a recruitment tool of domestic terrorists.
Maybe the extremist right will take a hit from Tucson just like Oklahoma City in 1995 but extremism is much more pervasive and deeply embedded now.
It’s now clear that Fox News and Palin will not give up the hate the government, hate brown skinned people and hate the gays speech; they are the only issues the Republican Party have.
Mr. Loughner has not been linked with any particular group but with our internet communications face to face meetings in secluded areas are not essential to terrorist groups anymore. A terrorist can be nurtured with internet communications and act entirely on his or her own.
This is domestic terrorism and not politics. It’s a law enforcement issue.
Mr.Loughner appears to have accepted at least part of the beliefs of “Sovereign Citizens”. Two “Sovereign Citizens” murdered two West Memphis, Ark., police officers on May 20, 2010.
