The hybrid and all electric propulsion future of flying

Everyone except for conservative Republicans and Democrats knows we are quickly running out of fossil energy. And the price is going up for what is left.

In the aircraft industry many technological solutions are emerging most of them involving electric motors. 

Boeing has the SUGAR Volt program with two aircraft:

In lighter than air aircraft hybrid airship weapons systems there is the: 

Long Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle (LEMV) by Northrop Grumman 

In the corporate category lighter than air hybrid aircraft there is corporate air yacht Aeroscraft

In sport flying and general aviation electric powered aircraft we have the Yuneec E430 due to go into production next year.

And Sikorsky has the Sikorsky Firefly Electric Helicopter demonstrator maybe it will be built in Chester County PA
