Convicted felon day workers allegedly hired by Nutrition Ink in Coatesville Pennsylvania schools

Hiring Practices

"The Coatesville School Board, and the Superintendent allowed a group that is outsourced to the district, to hire 2 or 3 individuals to work for the school district hauling material from one building to another, and they did not have a police clearance to work according to state law, and school board policy and the contract.

That to me is putting children and employees in jeopardy. In my opinion they were not thinking of the children or the employees, they were not thinking of the safety of the children or the employees, just of the money it cost.

On 8/23/2016 I was called by a witness and he know both of them, and they both have criminal records (felony) they were working at Benner hauling material and they were hauling the material in a big box truck, and one of the Nutrition Ink supervisors was hauling them in the truck.

The (Nutrition Ink) supervisor would all them to drove their own truck or car, or moped to different schools.  Sometimes they would ride with the supervisor in the box truck.  The supervisor would leave them off at Sixth Avenue & Chestnut Street and if they did not drive, the next day he would pick them up at Sixth Avenue.

I have pictures of them and a statement from the witness on 8/30/2016 they were at the Kings Highway doing the same thing they did at Benner. They also did it at Scott School.

They were seen being let out again at Sixth Avenue.
When they were taking back to Sixth Avenue one of them had taken a package out of the truck and went into the a barbershop. I heard they are no longer working for the district. My understanding is that they were released, but what about the supervisor of Nutrition Ink, will there be any discipline for it?

I for one think that you owe an apology to children, parents, taxpayers, but I will not hold my breath.

I would like people to remember and understand the school board and the superintendent did not relinquish authority when they hired the outsourced company, they are responsible."

"Gabriel Shane Paulick, an employee of Nutrition Inc. who managed the cafeterias in the Ringgold School District for eight years, has two daughters.
But on his applications for the reduced-price school lunch program in the district, authorities said, he listed a third child.
Her name? Karla.
Big mistake.
Debbie Kendra, head of the cafeteria system for the district, recognized that name.
"She said, 'Wait a minute, that's his dog,' " said Tim Berggren, the district's solicitor. "If he had put down any other name, he might never have been caught."
