Chester County Sheriff Carolyn (Bunny) Welsh sent a letter to President Obama saying she would not enforce federal law

"Dozens of sheriffs, mostly from western states, sent letters to the White House in 2013 saying they would not enforce federal gun laws, including Douglas County, Ore., Sheriff John Hamlin. Hamlin’s view were later scrutinized after a mass killing in his county last October at Umpqua Community College.

'It’s terrifying to me,' said Justin Nix, a criminology professor at the University of Louisville who specializes in police legitimacy and procedural fairness. 'It’s not up to the police to decide what the law is going to be. They’re sworn to uphold the law. It’s not up to them to pick and choose.' Nix pointed out that officers use discretion all the time in deciding whether to charge someone with a crime. 'But to be on the record, that you don’t want officers enforcing laws, that is pretty bold."

Pennsylvanians opposed to fracking are forced to vote for Republican Senator Toomey.

Pennsylvanians opposed to fracking and gas pipelines now are forced to vote for Republican Senator Toomey.

The Clinton dominated Pennsylvania Democratic Committee's selected candidate “She’s A GAS” Katie McGinty was put in place by fracking company money and Clinton money.

       Kathleen McGinty (2003 – 2008)

Kathleen McGinty, Gov. Ed Rendell’s appointee to the top DEP position, has held numerous jobs in the energy and regulatory sectors. She was the first woman to chair the White House Council on Environmental Quality during the Clinton administration and was a senior environmental advisor to Al Gore.
One of McGinty’s appointments as DEP Secretary was Kathryn Klaber, the current president of the Marcellus Shale Coalition, to the Air Quality Technical Advisory Committee – a board that advises the DEP on potential impacts of air pollution regulations.
After leaving the DEP in 2008, McGinty joined the board of NRG Energy, an electricity producer operating 22 natural gas power plants. NRG is in the process of converting some of its coal power plants to gas.56
McGinty is also a board member of Iberdrola USA, a subsidiary of the Spanish energy conglomerate whose interests include natural gas power plants, and a senior vice president and managing director of Weston Solutions, a consulting firm that, according to its website, “delivers integrated environmental, sustainability, property redevelopment, energy, and construction solutions.”57
Weston Solutions counts Chesapeake Energy among its clients and is a member of the Marcellus Shale Coalition, the American Gas Association, and the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association (PIOGA).58
Finally, McGinty is an operating partner at Element Partners, a private equity firm that has investments in several companies in the natural gas industry, as is detailed in the Ed Rendell section above.59

Democratic Party, dedicated to losing-Clinton and FBI

Democratic Party leaders coerced by fear of the Clintons and hoping for an appointment or government money for their businesses have forced Hillary onto the Democratic ticket.

Even if she is not indicted she is still the most disliked Democratic presidential candidate in memory.

Clinton is running as a Wall Street, big oil candidate at a time when all citizens demand a populist president.

Incitement or not unless Democrats overcome their fear of the Clintons and nominate Sanders we will have President Trump.

Down ballot Democrats don’t have a chance if Clinton stays on the Democratic ballot and Trump wins a landslide victory in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvanians opposed to fracking and pipelines have no choice but to vote for Republican Pat Toomey as Pennsylvania's senator.

See a coming post.

Today doesn’t look like the day before a presidential primary election.

In a 25 minute drive around the City of Coatesville area I found only 2 Republican political signs on a prominent Republican supporters lawn in South Coatesville.

Our Coatesville Democratic Committee Chair Khadijah (Jackie) Alamin had a series of political signs on her and her neighbors lawn in Coatesville.

That was it.

Maybe Bernie Sanders won’t win at the Democratic Convention but one thing is clear. Bernie Sanders has energized the Democratic Base like no one since Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Still even on the Democratic side, at least in Coatesville, there seems to be not much energy in this election compared to say 2008.

However not much energy is a gross understatement for the Republican Side.

The Republicans are feeling Donald Trump’s burn. But not the good kind of burn. The RNC is desperately trying to put out the fire Donald Trump started before the GOP is a total loss.

Scott Walker was the Koch Network's pick for president.

In this video from 2012 you can hear various Chester County Republicans saying what a wonderful man Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin is:

Now it seems the Koch brothers prefer Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump.

Verizon doesn’t only screw employees. They screwed Pennsylvanians out of high speed internet access

“Another sticking point that hasn’t been talked about as much deals with infrastructure or the company’s lack of commitment to expanding broadband access across the Northeastern United States and the Midstate region.
Mark Eisenhauer, Local 13000 Unit 32 President, explains that Verizon has “handpicked areas” where they have installed their high speed fiber optics internet service, VerizonFIOS, so they can get the “quickest return” on their profit.
Eisenhauer indicates that most of Harrisburg and Hershey have access to the fiber optics.  As do parts of Lebanon County have access, but Lancaster county does not have any access to the high speed internet product.”

Verizon pushed “§ 3014. Network modernization plans” on Pennsylvanians, what I call Verizon's:

“Do not even attempt to build a community high speed broadband network in Pennsylvania, even if it does not at all compete with Verizon.”

Because of "3014 Network modernization plans” law created by and for Verizon, it is illegal for municipalities to create a high speed broadband fiber optic internet network. The bill was signed into law by Governor Rendell. I assume no politician including the Governor understood the law.

I believe that because of the President's "Community Broadband Solutions" (BELOW) it might now be possible to challenge Verizon's "do not compete with Verizon law" OR "3014 Network modernization plan."

The Coatesville Train Station will be a huge boost to the Coatesville area economy.

State of the art high speed fiber optic cable at reasonable cost could also be a huge boost to Coatesville’s economy.

Only a small portion of the fiber optic cable under Lincoln Highway is needed for the traffic signal system and surveillance camera system.

In 2004 former Coatesville Assistant City Manager Jean Krack asked PennDOT for extra cable to connect police and fire departments, schools and other public buildings. Sixteen strand cable was enough for the traffic signals and surveillance cameras. PennDOT laid 48 strand cable.

His intention was for the municipalities involved, Coatesville, Caln and Downingtown to take control of PennDOT’s cable once it was fully in place.

Because of a Pennsylvania law created by Verizon, it is illegal for Pennsylvania municipalities to create a high speed fiber optic internet network.

Making human misery a product Wall St. can invest in -Private Prisons- David Simon on Mark Maron, WTF

David Simon began his career as a reporter working for the Baltimore Sun.
He is most remembered for his Television series:

Homicide, The corner, The Wire, Generation Kill and Treme

WTF-Marc Maron interviews David Simon Episode 698 April 14, 2016:

AT - 28:16:

David Simon,
"The notion that the product could be human incarceration shows you the level of psychic disease can be applied. Capitalism is not a moral force, how we ever mistook it for that, it doesn't mean that it's not the most effective way of generating mass wealth in the modern world. Clearly it's demonstrated its great facility for that. But what you do with it, what you do with the money, or what you don't do with it, that's the definition of society.”

Marc Maron,
"This whole thing that privatization will find its level and the most moral thing will win out is retarded, it's ridiculous. What about greed, it's one of the seven deadlies. I mean what do people do?"

David Simon,
"Did you ever get in an argument with a libertarian?

Marc Maron,
“I've tried. It's annoying. I don’t have the patience, the skill set anymore."

David Simon,
“There is no skill set.

But the one thing they always rely on, invariably… you’ll start pointing out, where like, look at what happened when you let capital address the system of incarceration. They made human misery into a product and they went to Wall Street with it and they said, hey:

We can get you 3% growth next year. That's 3% more of the population to jail.

How do you do that? Well you got to make more nonviolent crimes, jailable."

Marc Maron,
“And then mostly poor people, mostly people of color, the insane."

David Simon,
"Of course. Of course it's insane! And yet they'll look at you and they'll go, oh well that's crony capitalism."

Marc Maron,
"Is there another kind?"

David Simon,
"Of course. Tell me of a society in human history that ever applied capitalism in some sort of benign way, that wasn't mitigated by the society and saying, look; here are our priorities, here are our moral standards. Here's what we want to do. Here's what we don't want to do. Figure it out.

The crony capitalism is, no, no, no, once the markets get it pure...you guys are batshit crazy.

And I think citizenship in some very basic ways, if you're talking to me about those wonderful watchwords, of freedom and liberty, and there's not a corresponding sense of responsibility. All that is to me, it's just a recipe for an incredibly selfish culture.

On the other hand if it's all responsibility and no freedom, that's tyranny. But somewhere in the middle is something that, Jesus, the Athenians recognized it as being sort of the fundamental of the democratic state.

You gotta kick in. You gotta kick in, and if somebody down the road is getting the shit kicked out of him, wrongly you're marginalized even if you don't feel it. Even if it's happening to somebody else a little lower on whatever the pyramid of pain is. At the moment that you don't stand up for that guy, it's closer to you. It's just something that's so elemental and yet so many people don't stand up.”

Marc Maron,
"The ideology says, it's not my problem.”

David Simon,
"In fact he's different from me.”

Marc,
"That's even worse, because that's loaded, because not my problem is selfish, not my problem because he's different from me is racist.”

David,

"And we're still living through those times."
