Republican Wild Dogs run loose in the PA House. 3 more yrs. of GOP Wild Dog dung on the PA House floor. UNLESS

It’s 3 more years of cleaning Republican Dog dung from the PA House floor.

The GOP Wild Dogs will continue to crap on the Statehouse floor indefinitely  unless….

Democrats show up on election day.

Not only Election Day on November 8, 2016. That election is a guaranteed high turnout, and big win Election for Democrats in Pennsylvania.

The elections that really count for Pennsylvanians are in 2017, 2018 and 2019 Those elections will decide the makeup of the PA House and PA Senate:

Reapportionment, Redistricting, And Electors

"The census has a profound impact on the way that our nation chooses its leaders...

Under Title 13, U.S.C., the Secretary of Commerce is required to submit the state population totals to the President within nine months of Census Day. Title 2, U.S.C. then requires the President to submit the apportionment to the Clerk of the House within five days of the convening of a new Congress.
After the states receive the number of districts allowed per state, it is their responsibility every decade to draw the boundaries of those districts in their states. This process is called “redistricting.” In some states, the legislature is responsible for redistricting, while in others, independent commissions set redistricting plans.

Both reapportionment and redistricting directly impact the local, state, and national leaders voted to serve in office because of the politics involved in redistricting in each state. For example, many states, led by the majority party, have drawn districts in such a way that opponents to the majority party are sequestered in just a few districts, leading to district maps that are skewed towards one party. In effect this has lowered or even eliminated the competition for seats in the House of Representatives, which has impacted the competition of House seats nationally. This process is called 'gerrymandering”.

The GOP/JBS-Republicans and the John Birch Society got married.

David Koch ran as a Libertarian in 1980. The Koch Brothers abandoned there attempts to run for office and went about recreating the Republican Party in the John Birch Society image.

A John Birch Society Chapter Leader named Pat Sellers completed his very successful decade long efforts to change the City of Coatesville's government in 2005.

The Koch brothers were also very successful, the JBS and the Republican Party are now one.

If we don't stop them the GOP/JBS will burn down the United States.

Right now the GOP/JBS War on Public Education is on view in Harrisburg. The Koch brothers budget bill on Governor Wolf’s desk is a skirmish in that war.

“We advocate the complete separation of education and State.  Government schools lead to the indoctrination of children and interfere with the free choice of individuals. Government ownership, operation, regulation, and subsidy of schools and colleges should be ended.”

2016: "The Game of Elections" is played with hate and fear

When I first listened to  Bruce Springsteen's "Jack of All Trades" I cried like a baby. That "Jack of All Trades" is my Dad.

In the run up to the 2016 elections hate and fear is manifest on all sides, even non-voters and people who ignore elections are concerned.

That hate of course includes the 60% Republican xenophobic, "Christian", anti-government racists who see Donald Trump or Ted Cruze as their national savior.

But there is a universal malaise, a solid rational base for that hate and fear that grips all of us.

The loss of friends and family members in needless and very long wars that we were tricked into supporting by people who would profit from those wars, fear of losing all that you have if you get sick, steady loss of real income over 4 decades, fear of terrorist attacks, fear that your children will be shot and killed in school, fear that ends won't meet and like so many others you could be homeless. We had 15 years of disappointment and fear.

There's an underlying hate that's universal. It's hatred of the Wall Street bankers that caused the depression of 2007 and ruined so very many peoples lives.

Well not quite universal. There's this small group of men:

Corporations win big if Republicans win. But no matter which party wins, corporations will win. They win less if Democrats win.

Before 1980 the GOP was a mix of populists and corporatists. Since then the GOP has been nothing more than a corporate shill organization.

A "We're the corporate shill party." campaign doesn't attract votes. So the "We're the party of the threatened white race." facade was created by the Republican Party. It worked extremely well. Fear and hate of the "others" put the GOP in control of most state legislatures, most courts and the U.S. Congress.

All Republicans, even those in local elections, need to pay at least lip service to the 60% Republican white people hate/fear base to survive.  They dependably vote in every election.

The anti-government/racist, ethnic hate on world wide display at Republican campaign events is a facade to attract frightened white men. It's a bait-&-switch.

The frightened white people are being conned by corporate shills. Any way the election goes the 60% Republican frightened white people base will discover that they were scammed.

Ultimately catastrophic failure is built into the Republican Party white/fear/hate election strategy.  At some time in the near future our country will no longer be mostly white Anglo-Saxon Protestant. The GOP as it now stands is a minority party inevitably destined to become a tiny minority party.

Europe is looking dangerously right wing. The Greek Golden Dawn Party says their swastika is an ancient Greek symbol. That the brown shirts with swastika bands aren’t Nazi.

The 60 percent of Republicans that want Trump or Cruze as their leader are nurtured by anti-government hate. They listen to and talk about radio shows that say "civil war could erupt on American soil."

Bruce Springsteen's "Jack of All Trades" ends with:

"So you use what you’ve got and you learn to make do
You take the old, you make it new
If I had me a gun, I’d find the bastards and shoot ’em on sight
I’m a jack of all trades, we’ll be all right

I’m a jack of all trades, we’ll be all right"

Is PA GOP’s Internecine War over or will GOP State Reps. die at their battle stations?

After bloody internecine warfare defeated Republicans may concede and allow Pennsylvania’s continued existence. However no one knows if the horribly wounded anti-Pennsylvania GOP House members will fight to the finish and die at their battle stations.

The Devil in firearm regulation isn't courts or legislation. The Devil's in gun owners.

We live in a country full of extremely well armed people. Some of whom believe it's their Constitutional right to kill public officials and destroy public buildings.

We had air raid drills in my elementary school. Now children have intruder drills. My air raid drills were always drills. Now children have intruders spraying death with assault rifles and high capacity handguns.

Every effort to contain the violence by regulating firearms will be met with more violence.

Pat Sellers ran for 6th Congressional District in 1966 and again in 2010. He did better in 2010. Thank God he's in Texas now.

Pat had Larry Pratt as a fundraiser and recommended reading William Pierce's books. Pratt wrote "Armed People Victorious" and Pierce led the National Alliance and wrote "The Turner Diaries" that inspired Timothy McVeigh.

What I am getting at is I live with these people. I know how they think. Any attempt at making assault weapons or limiting firearms will trigger them to act.

The anti-government weapons of choice are now assault rifles and high capacity magazine pistols.

The way to curtail domestic terrorism, Jihadist or right wing terrorism and our everyday mass shootings is making assault rifles and high capacity magazine pistols illegal and creating a national registry of firearms. But doing that will make more people act against government.

“Well, I think that standoff in Bunkerville, Nevada, was perhaps a canary in the coal mine and it told us that there is danger ahead,” Pratt responded. “But it also told the government that if you push too hard there will be pushback. And people did come with their guns and their ammunition and they were ready to shoot if the government attacked.”
“That seems to me to have been a lesson that was being sent to the government,” he continued, “and right now I don’t think any Democrat, let alone Republican, wants to have that kind of situation where their view’s precipitating the outbreak of civil war. And we came very close to that. And it wouldn’t have been a civil war between the North and the South, this would have been a civil war between the people and the government.”

Should we decriminalize heroin? Or watch young white people die?

Heroin ain't just a black and jazz musician thing anymore. There is a new epidemic of heroin deaths among young white people.

Legalizing marijuana took the profit out of selling illegal marijuana.

Mexican cartels knew their primary product was losing value. They changed up to manufacturing and selling the purest white heroin. They designed an Amazon style delivery system to go with their new heroin product, direct to you door. Law enforcement here doesn’t know quite how they do it.

The potency and nationwide availability of Mexican heroin is causing young white people to die. It’s changing how communities deal with addiction.

I think it’s affected the drug business and crime in Coatesville. Coatesville is no longer needed as a drug depot for Chester County. A street slinger isn’t part of the Mexican cartel heroin system.

We appear to have less arrests for heroin distribution and more armed robberies in the Coatesville area.

Is Mexican heroin is taking business away from Coatesville dealers?

It’s a guess.

As far as I can tell there are no stats on Mexican drug cartel heroin distribution. So far the Mexican distribution system is opaque to law enforcement. It can be tracked by heroin deaths of white people, but the drugs are delivered from Mexico to your door in a closed system that is opaque to law enforcement.
I wrote about this before:
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2015
Since Prohibition Chester County organized crime has been Republican. It could change to Democrat
Our choice is watching young white people die or decriminalizing heroin.

Portugal decriminalized heroin in 2001. Now “Past-year heroin use is now statistically close to zero” in Portugal.

We need all of Portugal’s system for heroin decriminalization to work.

It’s not just making heroin possession a summary offense. We need a free national health care system for everyone in the country to insure the treatment part works.

“If one of my children were a drug addict, what would I want for him?

I would want what any parent would: for his addiction to be treated as a health problem, not a criminal matter, and for him to have every kind of help possible to get him off drugs. Until that happened, I would want him to be able to manage his addiction and live a normal life by taking methadone or another substitute opioid. And until that happened, for him to stay as safe as possible from overdosing, developing H.I.V., or going to prison, which would irrevocably alter the course of his post-addiction life.

What’s significant about the question is not how I would answer, but the probability that I might be asked it at all. Because I am white and middle class, society would view my addict child as a sick person who needed help.

If I were African-American and poor, he would most likely be seen as a criminal to be locked up. And no one would be interested in what I wanted, or what was best for him.

A few weeks ago, The Times reported on how the new demographics of heroin — nearly 90 percent of new users in the last decade are white — is softening America’s drug policies. Another factor is the new (and extremely belated) awareness among American officials of the toxicity of mass incarceration, with a quarter of American prisoners locked up for drug offenses.   While African-Americans are 12 percent of the country’s drug users, they are 59 percent of people in state prisons on drug offenses; reducing race bias in the criminal justice system means ending the war on drugs.   Meanwhile, 20 states have decriminalized or legalized marijuana — what happened to viewing it as a gateway drug?

New England and Appalachia have been hit particularly hard by the heroin and opioid epidemic in the United States, but all across the country, policies are emerging that treat drugs as a health problem instead of a crime. Conservative politicians who once called needle exchange the devil’s work are now establishing them in their cities. Police officers now carry naloxone, a drug that instantly reverses overdoses, and are saving lives on a daily basis. Cities all over the country are copying Seattle’s Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program, in which police officers put low-level drug offenders into treatment and social services instead of jail. It is hard to imagine Congress decriminalizing drugs, but easy to imagine that soon, any debate at the national level may be irrelevant.

Where will that take us? We can look at what happened in various countries that have decriminalized drugs.

Portugal has gone the furthest. It decriminalized the personal use of all drugs (dealing and trafficking are still crimes and use remains illegal) in 2001.   Its program is the most comprehensive and the best-studied.
At the turn of the century, Portugal was drowning in heroin and had the worst H.I.V. rates among injecting drug users in Europe. The country had responded with harsh drug laws, which had not helped. Indeed, the laws drove many users underground.

On July 1, 2001, Portugal reversed course, decriminalizing possession of less than 10 days’ supply of any drug. That’s not legalization. But the penalties have been made administrative, not criminal. When the police catch people using or possessing drugs, the drug is seized. Within 72 hours, the user meets with what is called a dissuasion commission. The commission has social workers and psychologists who use the police report and assess the drug user and his needs. Then the user comes before a dissuasion panel; Lisbon’s, for example, has a sociologist, a lawyer and a psychologist.

The panel can simply warn a user, or send him to appropriate social or health services — including drug treatment if the user is an addict.   Nuno Capaz, the sociologist on Lisbon’s panel, said that users were punished only if they refused to go or they were repeat offenders. The punishment can be a fine, community service, or supervision by a local agency.

Decriminalization doesn’t work alone. “You need to invest heavily in public health response,” said Niamh Eastwood, executive director of Release, a British organization. “The success of Portugal is not just a model of law reform, but also significant harm reduction and a public health response. The whole package should be deployed.”

“Decriminalization is easy,” said Capaz. “You write down that if people are caught doing illegal things, the sanctions are administrative and not criminal. The hard part is making treatment available. It works for us because it works with our health care system — drug users who want treatment can get it for free.”

As it changed its laws, Portugal set up prevention campaigns, harm-reduction measures such as needle exchange that make drug use safer, and treatment services. Although drug-free treatment is available, Portugal relies heavily on methadone and other opioid substitution therapy to gradually wean users away from drugs.

Hyper-controversial when it first started, Portugal’s program is now widely accepted.   When global recession hit in 2008, the country’s health, housing and employment programs were severely cut. That may have affected its drug policies, but when drug programs themselves were cut — mostly outside of Lisbon — the losses were less than in other programs, Capaz said. Their success largely protected them, and politicians knew that cutting treatment or prevention services would only cost more later.

With those caveats, here’s what’s happened in Portugal:"

The Big Coatesville Con

at Sellers and Kurt Schenk at the 2005 Polls in Coatesville.
The players were a "dirt farmer", a mean spirited public official backed by a mean spirited town council, a local newspaper and a county preservation plan based on a United Nations preservation plan created in 1992.

The stage was a half black town whose main commerce was illegal drugs.

The story was about a government takeover of a farm to build a golf course/recreational center to comply with the county preservation plan.

It ended with producer/director Pat Sellers buying an expensive home away from the town and later moving to Texas

Winners of the con-story were a few drug dealers and some fulfilled, vindicated people on Stormfront.

No matter what else he may be Pat Sellers carried off an incredible decade long con. He one of the most successful con-men in history.

Many people were so well conned they still believe the white supremacist's story.

Is San Bernardino a new trend in mass shootings?

Is this a paradigm shift? A new trend in mass shooting?

Maximized killing and at least initially they got away and possibly reloaded in a house.

As I write this a man and women heavily armed with AR-15s, extra magazines, body armor and side arms, wearing black military uniforms, were killed by police.

And one appears to be at large.

They may have planned more attacks. And another attack might still occur.

This is something different.

"The shooting in San Bernardino was unlike nearly every other shooting of its type in the United States in the past decade and a half because it involved more than one gunman and the suspects managed to flee the scene.
Just two of 160 active shooter episodes from 2000 to 2013 had more than one gunman, according to a 2014 report released by the F.B.I. Only 25 of the gunmen got away without being arrested or killed, or committing suicide.
The study analyzed episodes involving active gunmen, where a shooting was in progress when law enforcement officers responded.
“Humans in general are adverse to killing other individuals, so it’s hard to sell someone else on helping you with that,” said J. Pete Blair, a criminal justice professor at Texas State University who worked on the F.B.I. study. “Oftentimes the person is socially isolated and not socially successful, and that creates a situation in which you are on your own and it’s hard to get others to buy into your vision or anger."

There is more unpredictable danger from homegrown U.S. terrorists who don't respond to ISIL propaganda.

Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev followed Alex Jones right wing extremist Infowars radio and Stormfront white supremacist websites. Christian and Odeon worshipping terrorists follow the same websites and radio broadcasts.

Sara and Todd Palin were Alaska Independence Party members before they were Republican. The Alaska Independence Party has connections with Ulster nationalists and Chechen separatists.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev is of Chechen descent but his hate comes in part from right wing extremist propaganda.

Once government hating people get to a certain level of hate, ideology takes a back seat to pure hate. They want to take action and start killing.

Sometimes killing becomes more important than who is killed. Like Fraser Glenn Miller:
“My morale is super high, higher than ever before,” Miller added. “I’m totally at peace with myself. I struck violent blows against the GD jew [sic] menace – effective blows, too.”
None of the three people Miller is accused of murdering on April 13, 2014 – William Corporon, 69, Corporon’s14-year-old grandson, Reat Underwood, and Terri LaManno, 53 – were Jewish.
“I’ll die with a clear conscience,” Miller said in the letter, apparently mailed in early June, “knowing I did my best to secure the existence of ourt [sic] people, and a future for White children.”

"A 19-year-old newlywed and former Mississippi State cheerleader. A Bosnian immigrant and war veteran. The son of a Boston area police officer. These are some of the 56 people arrested in the United States this year on charges of supporting or plotting with the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) — the most terrorism-related arrests U.S. authorities have made in a single year since 2001.
That finding is part of a new study from researchers at George Washington University who examined legal documents tied to ISIL-related charges in the U.S. since March 2014. What they found was an unprecedented diversity of ages, backgrounds and locations among ISIL's U.S.-based recruits — from the “keyboard warriors” who share the group's propaganda online to those who actually take up arms in Syria and Iraq.
The information explains the challenge ISIL poses to traditional law enforcement protocols for clamping down on violent radicalization, said Lorenzo Vidino, director of the Program on Extremism at GWU and an author of the report. “There’s absolutely no common profile,” Vidino said. “
"From teenagers to people in their 40s, people of extremely diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, men and women, Caucasian, Latino, African-American, Jewish — you name it.”Unprecedented diversity of support for ISIL in US, study says."

Is the GOP aiding and creating terrorists?

The purpose of ‘no more baby parts,’ is shutting down Planned Parenthood by means of terrorism.

The planned shutdown of the Federal Government over Planned Parenthood is just a stage.

GOP presidential candidates are reviewing the play.

Terrorist bombers and shooters are the actors in the play.

The play is terrorism.

People have it backwards. The GOP fight over Planned Parenthood isn’t political, it’s terrorism.

“Stochastic terrorism is the use of mass communications to incite random actors to carry out violent or terrorist acts that are statistically predictable but individually unpredictable. In short, remote-control murder by lone wolf.”

The plan to shutdown Planned Parenthood using terrorism is working extremely well.

"I worked at a #PlannedParenthood clinic in Kansas for 3 years. My coworkers & I were subjected to the following acts of terrorism:

Gasoline was poured under our back door & ignited 4 times. Twice while the clinic was occupied, causing patients to be evacuated.
Butyric acid (used as a stink bomb) was poured under our doors & into ventilation system so many times I lost count. Clinic evacuated.
2 cherry bombs were left on our doorstep after hours, causing damage & clinic closure. Imagine what it's like going to work after that.
We received hundreds of phone calls, threatening to torch our clinic & to kill the "murdering whores" who worked there.
3 times someone drove by at night & shot out our windows. Picketers stood on the sidewalk & harassed employees as we swept up broken glass. "

Bakersfield PD - Coatesville PD

The County: the story of America's deadliest police
Police in Kern County, California, have killed more people per capita than in any other American county in 2015. The Guardian examines how, with little oversight, officers here became the country’s most lethal
Part one of a five-part series from The Counted
Seventy-five years after Kern County’s leaders banned The Grapes of Wrath from their schools and libraries, complaining that John Steinbeck’s new book portrayed their policemen as “divested of sympathy or human decency or understanding”, officer Aaron Stringer placed his hands on the body of James De La Rosa without permission.
De La Rosa had just been shot dead by police officers in Bakersfield, the biggest city in this central California county, after crashing his car when they tried to pull him over. He was unarmed. Now the 22-year-old oilfield worker lay on a gurney in the successor to the coroner’s office where Tom Joad’s granma awaited a pauper’s funeral in the 1939 novel.
Stringer, a senior Bakersfield officer whose plaudits for once saving a colleague in peril had been overshadowed by his arrest for a hit-and-run while driving under the influence of prescription drugs, reached under the bloodied white sheet and tickled De La Rosa’s toes. Then, a junior officer reported to commanders, he jerked the head to one side and joked about rigor mortis.
“I love playing with dead bodies,” said Stringer.
It was only the most remarkable act in recent times by a police officer in this rugged territory, where law enforcement officers have this year killed more people relative to the population than in any other American county recorded by
The Counted, a Guardian investigation into the use of deadly force by police across the US in 2015.
There is no comparison to the Coatesville PD here. In many ways the Coatesville PD is the opposite of the Bakersfield PD.

But this article hits home for me.

In 2006-07-08 we had Crips and Bloods and SUR-13 trying to get control of the action in Coatesville.
The fires saved us.

Coatesville was flooded with undercover ATF and undercover State Troopers to catch arsonists and the the Crips, Bloods and SUR-13 moved out.
I saw the graffiti, first the Crips on a barn on South Caln Road, Caln Township and in a few months Crips, Bloods and SUR-13 all over Coatesville & Valley Township.

The Coatesville PD "chief" who was a retired Baltimore Housing Authority cop was seemingly unaware of a gang problem in Coatesville. "Chief" Matthews proposed laying off 6 Coatesville officers one of them turned out to be  a lieutenant, Matt Gordon:

Coatesville City Council February 22, 2007 Two hundred police officers and police officials attended that meeting.

District Attorney Joe Carroll, "I need Matt Gordon back!"
Joe was responding to Coatesville City Councilperson Kurt Schenk. Joe Carroll is a very easy going person. Joe’s hands were shaking as he said this. I have never before or since seen Chester County Joe Carroll as angry as he was that evening:

.

I wrote this:

In my opinion the news that “the money is good again in Coatesville” spread all over the nation. We rapidly had dealers from Philly and New York taking up residence in Coatesville. SUR-13, KOD, Cripps and other gang recruiters came to Coatesville. The guns poured in with them. Gunshots were heard and people were picking bullets out of walls and vehicles almost daily. Armed robberies and muggings, nearly all of them unreported in the press, rocketed up.
At about the same time the arson began.

FROM:

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2009

Some previous actions of Coatesville Police Chief Matthews and Coatesville City Manager Harry G. Walker:

I heard the AK-47 firing first in the East End and then the West End. knew a woman in the car AK-47 man was chasing.

I saw the guy wearing the LA Dodgers cap.
I saw the kids wearing blue.
I saw the kids wearing red.
I saw the graffiti.
I knew about trunk loads of firearms on 8th Avenue passed out to kids.
I saw kids crossing the street holding their pants so their firearm didn’t drop out.
I heard the gunshots.
I knew people who dug bullets from their walls.
“Chief” Matthews didn’t see it. He was busy in his office writing his memoirs.

The arson and the undercover State Police and undercover ATF agents almost put a full stop to the drug business in Coatesville (they threw the bags under parked cars in front of the MIdway), and the buyer tied his shoes, you could watch it happening). Mass arrests of SUR - 13 in Maryland helped too.

What frightening is this:

I know some people here look to selling drugs to make ends meet but we can't have it both ways. You can't have Coatesville as a drug depot for Chester County and at the same time Coatesville as a vital growing part of the western Chester County community. Coatesville is too small to accommodate both.  Maybe some people don't know it but right now in City Council meetings and behind the scenes we are deciding between redevelopment and Coatesville's continuance as a drug depot for Chester County.
