That song is NOT dead it's BACK

“Earlier this week, Bon Jovi and bandmate Richie Sambora recorded a version of Ben E. King's classic "Stand by Me" with Iranian superstar Andy Madadian. Their mission: to send a message of global solidarity to the people of Iran who are caught in the midst of debate and protest over the country's recent election.” Huffington Post- http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/28/iran-uprising-live-bloggi_n_221946.html

Because of this, that song is dead:

I would argue that the Republican Party is not “on the ropes” but down for the count.

June 25, 2009
Sanford Case a New Dose of Bad News for Republicans
By JIM RUTENBERG
WASHINGTON — Republicans were just starting to breathe a little easier.
More here:
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/25/us/25repubs.html?hp

I would argue that the Republican Party is not “on the ropes” but down for the count. The Republicans used the ladder of racism to climb to the top. That ladder fell and broke into pieces. One of those pieces is the Republican Party. Some others are “Reagan Democrats” and white supremacist organizations. People like Karl Rove and AM talk radio extremists like Hal Turner and Rush Limbaugh are carrying pieces of the ladder.

It’s true that the Southern Democrats once owned that ladder, but they dropped it with the Civil Rights Act and Ronald Reagan picked it up in Philadelphia Mississippi supporting “States Rights”.

There is a difference between people who register to vote as Republicans and the Republican Party. It is more of a chasm than a difference. Most of the people in Chester County who call themselves or register as Republican are not avid fans of people like Hal Turner; an extremist talk show host who has just been arrested by Patrick J. Fitzgerald, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. They are what as known as Eisenhower Republicans. President Obama is much more like President Eisenhower than Adlai Stevenson.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINT USA vs.HAL TURNER:
http://www.box.net/shared/j4t9c297zk

The Democratic Party has been migrating to the “center” of US politics. Eisenhower supported the “New Deal” and thought that Republicans like Barry Goldwater were extremists that could never represent Republicans. The Democratic Party has now matched the beliefs and philosophy of Eisenhower Republicans. The present Democratic Party is in general to the right of President Eisenhower's beliefs. That is the reason that Republicans here continue to flock to the Democratic Party and leave the Republican Party here in Chester County to be supported by a few insane extremists and some others who allegedly could lose big if there was a change at the county level.

I think the best description of the present state of USA politics is found here:

Look for a press conference from the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.

Something everyone knew happened but didn’t want to be reminded of. Just too horrible to contemplate. Our police, District Attorneys and press are forced to be in the middle of it.

WHAT ARE THEY HIDING?

When the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily Local News ask for PUBLIC RECORDS they are routinely stonewalled by Walker and Lehr. Do you think that the extreme steps the Coatesville Administration takes to hide public information from the public means that what they are hiding is incriminating information?

Oilmen and drug traffickers

Iran is a gangster, organized crime government. Bribes and payoffs from oil revenue keep it going and religion is reduced to a shield the gangsters hide behind. If the men in the oil refineries in Iran go on strike the government will not be able to pay its thugs and assassins and the government will fall.

If we in the United States were to adopt a program to raise gasoline taxes so that gas and diesel fuel was permanently set at above $6 per gallon the gangster run and operated governments of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Russia and others would collapse.

The money from oilmen corrupts governments and people much the same as the money from heroin does. We have seen it personified as W and Cheney’s oilmen thugs in the Whitehouse and their use of religion here as a shield to hide their corrupt plans for an oil empire. Something similar and many times more violent and oppressive is repeated in other countries. Oil companies and oilmen in them have a lot in common with illegal drug producers and traffickers.

Shred public records and then open public records for view NEW INFORMATION!

Has the Walker Administration hit a new low?

NEW:
The city is allegedly still stalling to provide the details around the money paid to the Gabriel Institute (listed on Walker’s resume as a former client) for the infamous police search.

Coatesville has allegedly been doggedly resisting the Inquirers efforts to find out how much citizens paid for a search that was basically ignored twice.

The first "Regular Action Item" in tonight's Coatesville City Council Meeting is:
Receive and consider a Resolution to dispose of certain records of the City of Coatesville in accordance with the City's Records Retention Policy.

Action item number 2 is:
Receive and consider a Resolution adopting the City of Coatesville Right-to-Know Policy for public records and taking other action with respect to the public records.

Ok, even to the casual observer it has the appearance of getting rid of public records that they do not want people to see.

Is the first resolution really to dispose of public records that could be used in a criminal trial? Is it an effort to hide public records from scrutiny?

I don't know but it looks shady.

Where are the US Attorneys and the US Marshalls when you need them?

The agenda is here:

http://www.box.net/shared/bq0047l166

I just want to add one more item the FINIAL DETERMINATION OF THE PENNSYVLANIA DEPARTMENT OF OPEN RECORDS. I think it is the reason for the action tonight.

Is the COATESVILLE UNITY COMMITTEE united with the Walker Administration?

The COATESVILLE UNITY COMMITTEE is spending a lot of money on the campaigns of Patsy Ray, Kurt Schenk and Jarrell Brazzle.

Andrew Lehr, Eddy Scrivens and Harry Walker have worked together for a very long time. Walker, Lehr, Pat Sellers and Harry Walker were involved in the Scott School project that fell though.

Lehr, Walker and Scrivens also worked together in the Wilmington, DE area.

From the Daily Local News:

“Walker said he met (City Solicitor) Lehr several years ago through Ed Scrivens, a business associate from Wilmington.

‘He (Scrivens) asked me to come up to Coatesville and talk to city officials regarding economic development. I remember meeting with them in the council chambers, although I don’t remember whether it was council members or the city manager or members of the RDA,’ he said.

Walker said he made some suggestions regarding revitalization projects; specifically, he recalled talking about the concept of tax-increment financing, which the city has since adopted.

As the economic development director in Wilmington, he also worked with an organization called Phase V Community Development Corporation.

Scrivens and Lehr sit on the board of directors of Phase V, which was involved in converting an abandoned building into a charter school.

Walker worked with the company on the project, and later, after he left the city payroll, Phase V signed on as a client of Walker Marketing Group.

‘I don’t know Andrew Lehr well. Our relationship was about helping them get the school going,’ Walker said.

But that was not the only time Scrivens and Lehr worked with Walker.

The two served on the Coatesville Regional Development Corporation (CRDC), a nonprofit group that in 1999 sought to turn then-defunct Scott High School into a business and technology center.

Walker also reportedly worked on the project.

But it fell through after plans were delayed and the CRDC missed agreement deadlines.

Ultimately, the school district spent $22 million transforming the former Scott High School into Scott Middle School.”

Are Lehr and Scrivens now working together for certain people running for the Coatesville City Council?

The Political Committee Registration Statement of the Coatesville Unity Committee has Eddy Scrivens as it’s Chairperson, and Raelyn Stonewall as its Treasurer. The person submitting the Registration Statement of the Coatesville Unity Committee is Andrew Lehr.

Read Eddy Scrivens’ own description of his relationship to Harry Walker and Andrew Lehr in the Minutes of the Coatesville City Council Meeting Monday, April 24, 2006:

Ed Scrivens, 133 Pennsylvania Avenue:

Mr. Scrivens spoke on behalf of Mr. Walker, a businessman, devoted father and an individual he has known for 14 years. What he’s read and heard about Mr. Walker is a debasement of his professionalism; Mr. Walker is overqualified for the position. Mr. Scrivens stated that Mr. Walker directed the economic development plan for the City of Wilmington under hostile conditions. Mr. Walker is for the little guy and elevates the lowest economic standard up to the highest.

He stated that Mr. Walker schooled Mr. Paul Janssen on TIF; he is a man with outstanding academic accolades. Mr. Scrivens stated that if the people want to turn the City around, hire Mr. Harry Walker tonight. Mr. Simpson asked Mr. Scrivens if he had submitted Mr. Walker’s name to Mr. Lehr for consideration. Mr. Scrivens replied, “I certainly did.”

Ed Scrivens, 133 Pennsylvania Avenue: Mr. Scrivens stated that revitalization starts with the little people. If you can’t elevate the standard of living and quality of life, the lesser people in your community, then you fail with community development and revitalization efforts. He mentioned the work of the Coatesville Redevelopment Corporation, and how the group was blocked by the then City Manager and the Economic Development Coordinator with the revitalization of Scott School. However, Harry Walker helped the Corporation to stop people from tearing it down. Mr. Scrivens spoke of what’s needed for regional economic development and community economic development. Mr. Simpson asked Mr. Scrivens if he were still associated with the Coatesville Redevelopment Corporation, and he replied yes. Mrs. Smith-Dowridge asked if Mr. Scrivens has any current development projects going on now. Mr. Scrivens said yes, they have other initiatives they’re exploring at this time. Mrs. Smith-Dowridge asked if they were working with any other municipalities, and Mr. Scrivens said their focus is only Coatesville. She asked if they did anything anywhere else, and Mr. Scrivens said not in Pennsylvania. They collaborated with a group in Delaware on refurbishing and bringing back into operation a 35,000 square foot school in the City of Wilmington. They worked with the Mr. Walker on the development of this project; Harry Walker is a financial wizard. Mr. Simpson asked if Mr. Lehr is on their Board of Directors. Mr. Scrivens said, absolutely, he was at the time and implored City Council to look out for the little guys.

Two big changes

Iranian Government and Journalism.

It looks like a big change is coming in Iran and a new journalism is rising from the old journalism that did not show up in Tehran to cover the election.

I come on to Twitter a few months ago. I didn't know what to with it. I couldn't figure out Twitter. I still can't But, give me a break; I was born in the early 1940s.

We already know, or at least think we know that paper based journalism is on it's way out.

Anybody wondering what journalism will look like in ten years? Twitter is the primary source of news from Iran. It looks like Twitter can be a news source with libretto, photos and video. A sort of Google UPI.

Government by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei may be near its end. And Twitter is showing it happening.

A CLIMATE OF FEAR BLANKETS COATESVILLE; that small town in Southern Italy with all the Mafia problems

Actually Coatesville is a small Pennsylvania town that I think has more in common with a Mafia controlled town in Italy than it does with its nearest neighbors.

Living in a place where families have known each other for more than 100 years can make you feel comfortable. But when it enables drug traffickers with operations that were set in stone decades ago to know all about all of your extended family it can establish an envelope of fear that covers the entire town.

I can't know for sure but I believe the drug selling "industry" in Coatesville could be the main engine of the economy here and in a good part of Chester County.

The population of Coatesville is about 12,000. There is infrastructure in place for 20,000 residents. New residents are much more likely to report crime than long time Coatesville residents with lots of family to protect.

Redeveloping Coatesville could take away the alleged control by fear that drug dealers have. The USDoJ knows that and even more importantly the drug dealers and all who profit from it know that redeveloping Coatesville and bringing new residents with new eyes on the street could end the drug game here.

I think that Bart Blatstein, Carl Chetty and Don Pulver need to take the “alleged Mafia town connection” into consideration when they propose building here. They need to consult with the DEA, Chester County District Attorney, FBI and ATF and integrate their development proposals with those law enforcement groups.

Don’t forget the public official connection.
Well established drug trafficking operations do not exist without the cooperation of public officials. (

It is distasteful rummaging in the hatemonger websites of the extreme right wing.

But back in 2003 to 2006 there were a lot of posts concerning Coatesville on the Stormfront.org and FreeRepublic.com websites. It was mostly related to government taking privately owned land by eminent domain. There was plenty of overt racism mixed in. And there were occasionally threats against Coatesville government officials.

Some can still be found here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/saha/index?tab=articles

There is still an occasional post on those sites concerning Coatesville. Some of the posts on those sites about Coatesville are blatantly racist and /or anti-Jewish.

If you decide to look on Stormfront.org or FreeRepublic.com, keep a barf bucket handy.

Some comment posts on the Daily Local News that are about Coatesville are suggestive of racism. The outright racist remarks are removed.

Articles about the shooting by the white supremacist terrorist at the Holocaust Museum mention that information about and posts by the terrorist shooter, James W. von Brunn was found on the Stormfront.org website and on FreeRepublic.com website. Some of the posts by and about von Brunn have been removed.

The report by the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY in April warned that "current conditions resemble those in the early 1990s. That period culminated in the second worst terrorist bombing in US history; the Oklahoma City Bombing".

The DHS report can be found here:

During the 1980s to middle of the 1990s ultra right wing militia groups formed in the United States. The person who is sometimes called the "father of the militia movement" in the United States is Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America.

“In October 1992, at Estes Park, Colorado, Pratt addressed a three-day meeting of neo-Nazis and Christian Identity adherents organized by Pete Peters in the wake of the Ruby Ridge incident.”

Pratt shared the stage with Richard Butler (Aryan Nations and the Church of Jesus Christ Christian) and Louis Beam (KKK and Arian Nation).

See Armed and Dangerous (The NRA, Militias and White Supremacists are fostering a network of right wing warriors):

Pat Sellers, formerly of Coatesville, sought Larry Pratt’s support in his campaign for Congress in 1996. Pat Sellers was an essential part in the election of the “Bloc of Four” in 2005.
Sellers spent the better part of the Primary Election Day in 2005 with Kurt Schenk in Coatesville’s Fourth Wards.

Here is an excerpt from an article from the Lancaster Intelligencer Journal Thursday April 11, 1996:

Lancaster Intelligencer Journal
Lancaster, PA

"House hopeful charged in fight with teenager
Coatesville school board president scuffled with daughter’s boy friend…

Sellers, an electrical worker who trails his opponent in the race, has also come under fire recently for seeking the support of Larry Pratt, a former aide to presidential candidate Pat Buchannan.

Pratt is executive director of Gun Owners of America. He left the Buchanan Campaign after the media reported on his ties to the Ku Klux Klan and the white supremacist group Aryan Nation.

Pratt has indorsed Sellers and will be the keynote speaker at a fund-raising dinner for Sellers next week.

Sellers said the allegations against Pratt are untrue and that he sought Pratt’s support because of his expertise on gun issues.”

Chester County and nearby areas in Pennsylvania and Maryland have had and now have an abundance of right wing extremist activity. It is party because the need for secrecy in extremist organizations makes face to face communication essential at times and Pennsylvania is centrally located on the Eastern Seaboard.

One example from the recent past is here:

Local police receive awards
Daily Local News
GINA ZOTTI , Staff Writer

"In addition to the anonymous trooper, whose name is not being released because of his undercover status at a Chester County state police barracks, West Goshen Detective Sgt. Gregory Stone and Coatesville Detective Martin Quinn were recognized for their investigative work that led to the guilty pleas or convictions of a number of violent local criminals.

'The local police and local prosecutors are and must be the first line of defense in defeating crime in Chester County," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Thomas P. Hogan Jr. "Chester County residents are incredibly lucky to have such good police officers taking care of them on a day-to-day basis.'...

Hogan said the white supremacist cell was meeting on a regular basis in western Chester County -- in the Honey Brook and Parkesburg areas -- as well as over the border into Lancaster County for years before their arrests in 2002.

'The frightening thing about Hull is not just that he hates people because of their race and not just that he wants to be violent, but that he’s teaching people how to hate and how to be violent,' said Hogan. 'He’s telling people how to make bombs, where to put them and where they’ll do the most damage."

A few years ago a employee of a national campaign labeled Chester County, PA "Little Alabama"

"Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration." From- Office of Intelligence and Analysis Assessment Report

Coatesville has become a national magnet for white supremacists on the internet. Chester County has been and is now a prime area of operations for white supremacist groups and anti-government groups. The leadership of the organized groups are mostly about raising money and recruiting using racism, xenophobia and fear of government as their draw. Some of them are active in Chester County. They all have a version of the same story about a Jewish/Black conspiracy.

Some of the people that buy into this garbage may be ready to snap and become a statistic as a “Lone Wolf” domestic terrorist. If you know somebody like that call the FBI.

All that I need to check for criminal records is a name, a locality and a date of birth.

The City of Coatesville has so far refused to provide the date of birth and home town of non-police city employees to Kathleen Brady Shea, a reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Upon appeal of the cities refusal the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records has made a FINIAL DETERMINATION that Kathleen Brady Shea’s appeal is granted and the city is required to release the information.

The City of Coatesville has 30 days after the mailing of the determination to appeal in Chester County Commonwealth Court.

There are a well operated houses of worship where attending services is a joy.

We have lots of churches here in Coatesville. There are a well operated houses of worship where attending services is a joy.

And there are some here that I think have leadership whose primary mission is to redeem other peoples wallets.

In Coatesville and probably almost anywhere you cannot assume that because it’s a religious organization the people running it are trustworthy.

I believe that the most egregious example of what a house of worship should not be was “Pastor Jack” Flamer’s church in Coatesville.

That church was a money laundering operation for the drug dealer that was its pastor. The fact that some people here still think he was doing good work with his drug money is an insight into the value system of some Coatesville residents. See:

We had some very good people in our Weed and Seed operation in Coatesville. It was once an award winning Weed and Seed operation. But even when it was running at its best there were people creeping into it that I believe were more interested in what the grant money could do for their wallets than what they could do for the community. Non-profit is not necessarily non-profitable for it's administrators.

I think the “bloc” and Walker Administration began a turnover that allowed the bottom feeders to take control of Weed and Seed.

There were reasons that Pat Meehan was very interested in the goings on in Coatesville’s Weed and Seed. It is just one of the many reasons that so many eyes and ears are tuned to Coatesville.

I don’t want to name anyone. While most good people have washed Coatesville’s current administration from their hands and are working around the Coatesville Government there are still good honest people trying to work with the Coatesville Government. Good Luck!

I believe that the Commonwealth sees a great need in Coatesville and does not want to kill Weed and Seed here but they cannot send money to a corrupt organization. I think they are keeping a paid person here to keep Weed and Seed alive and are hoping for a change to honest government.

There is a very good post about the Weed and Seed fiasco in Coatesville on Karl Marking’s website:

Coatesville unanimously approves Chetty and Mosaic developments for brownfeild sites in Coatesville

The Coatesville City Council unanimously approved Carl Chetty’s plans for the north side of the bridge on former steel company property in Coatesville. There was no opposition to Chetty’s plan by City Solicitor Andrew Lehr like there was in March of 2006.

The Coatesville City Council also unanimously approved Mosaic Development Partners LLC’s plans for the former steel company property south of the bridge.

Carl Chetty is a builder with a very long track record of successful developments.

Although Smallwood-Lewis and Reaves have experience working for a developer; Mosaic Development Partners LLC has no experience building anything. The two people that make up the company once worked for “The Goldenberg Group”.

Did they just decide to start out big and stumbled upon Coatesville? Or did they know someone in Coatesville? Did they know people in Coatesville through Smallwood’s former co-council on the case she was disbarred for; Attorney Michael Whitlow?

Whitlow had a law office within a 3 minute walk to Coatesville City Hall. Whitlow passed away in October of 2007 but was very much alive when he was Smallwood’s co-council. Whitlow was also one of the regulars in State Rep. Hennessey’s office "City Hall East" and a very big supporter of the Walker Administration.

“The Mosaic Flats Redevelopment Concept Plan” was created on May 30, 2008

Mosaic Development Partners LLC was created on July 7, 2008.

Mosaic Development Partners presented their “Flats Redevelopment Concept Plan” to the Coatesville RDA on July 21, 2008.

A copy of the “Mosaic Flats Redevelopment Concept Plan” dated "30 May 2008" is here:

http://www.box.net/shared/l4brrbca1c

The only information about Mosaic Development Partners anyone can find is a 4 page website, http://hstrial-greaves1.homestead.com/contact.html some things they presented here in Coatesville and their company:

“Mosaic Development Partners, LLC, Democratic Republic of the Congo (offshore registry) Created on July 7, 2008 at;
4950 Parkside Ave
STE 506
Philadelphia PA 19131

All of the “experience” they talk about is with their former employer. They have no letters of recommendation from anyone employed by their former employer “The Goldenberg Group”. Did they leave on good terms?

And they do have possible connections to some of the city council members and city administration through Whitlow. Even if Mosaic does nothing with the property it may be worth a lot in a few years.

I think the best hope we as Coatesville residents have is that Chetty Builders will make a go of it and Mosaic will be dragged along. At the very least the site may be left a little easier for some company to develop.

There are three letters of recommendation for Leslie Smallwood-Lewis and
Greg Reaves here:

Boost for long awaited West Philly project

There was also a copy of an Inquirer Article about “The Fresh Grocer” in West Philadelphia with no mention of Leslie Smallwood Lewis or Greg Reaves.

There is a Philadelphia Inquirer article not concerning Mosaic Development Partners but another company with little experience that started out big:

The Coatesville City Council may make a tremendous mistake tonight.

In my opinion voting for the Mosaic Development may result in a monumental scandal.

The Agenda for tonight's Coatesville City Council Meeting is here:

See previous posts concerning Mosaic Development Partners and Leslie Smallwood.

Just looking through old articles and found this one.

This is a quote from Robin Scott:

"Added council Vice President Robin Scott: 'There is going to be change . . . and some people are scared of change."

It was who was in charge of the changing that we were concerned about.

Notice that the Saha family was beginning to doubt the motivations of the people that they had helped get elected.

I think that everyone that once thought they were helping the Saha family by staying home on that Election Day in 2005, now know they were just being used by people with dark motivations.

Coatesville residents turnout to support Krack, Bellizzie
By Allen Davis
Staff Writer
9 a.m., 10 Jan 06
Coatesville residents crowded into City Hall last night wanting to know if there was truth to reports that City Manager Jean Krack and Police Chief Dominic Bellizzie are to be replaced in the near future.

"I don't respond to rumors," council President Kareem Johnson said. Johnson would comment only that last night was the first time he had heard council was considering creating a new superintendent of safety position that would oversee the police.

Lt. Matt Gordon specifically asked whether rumors were true that Richard Legree, a constable and former Valley police officer, was to be named superintendent of safety.

"This is the first time I heard that," Johnson responded.

Council members Marty Eggleston and Ed Simpson both said last night they had no problem showing public support for both Krack and Bellizzie.

Fifteen off-duty police officers, all in uniform, turned out last night to show their support for Bellizzie whom has been credited with ridding the streets of open-air drug markets and professionalizing the 32-man department.

Bellizzie was also supported by the Coatesville NAACP. "Chief Bellizzie is my buddy. I don't want anybody messing with him," said Louise Hopkins, president of the Coatesville NAACP. Bellizzie, who is white, is the first city police chief to meet regularly with the NAACP over such issues as profiling.

"Without Jean Krack and his people (staff), you're going to set the city back five years," said Elwood Dixon, a Caln resident but who owns property in Coatesville.

Ricky Saha urged the new council members to work with Krack and his staff. "I called Krack and said I was going to do anything I could to keep him and others on," said Saha.

Ricky Saha is the son of Dick Saha who waged a six-year legal and political battle to force the city to halt the city from using its eminent domain powers to take his Valley Township farm for a golf course.

Johnson said all new council members are 100 percent for the city's revitalization and he looked forward to working with the three council members remaining from last year's council. ". . . but we're going to move forward," he said.

Added council Vice President Robin Scott: "There is going to be change . . . and some people are scared of change."

Johnson, Scott, Patsy Ray and Kurt Schenk were all elected in November. The four defeated incumbents David Griffith, Bill Chertok, Carmen Green and David DeSimone.
Last night Schenk implored residents to give the new council members a chance.

"Before you listen to rumors, give us a call . . . Please give us a chance," he said.

What is it about con-men?

Why did they choose the life of a bottom feeder? They are smart enough to make an honest living. Is cheating exciting to them? Is the thrill of stealing what they live for?

One thing is very clear about con-men. If they were hunters they would be content to hunt animals in a zoo. They go for the easiest kill.

I know this because so many of them come to Coatesville to try out their cons.

Long time residents here care about themselves and sometimes include their friends and fellow “Coatesvillians”. I have found that even the churches here are sometimes divided by those who are primarily religious and those who primarily want to bilk their fellow churchgoers. The rest of the world, its laws and values, do not come into their value system.

Just like a cooking pot for crabs doesn’t need a lid. Coatesville residents are an easy “make” for a con. If someone is running a con in Coatesville they are more likely to find people who want a cut than people who will try to stop it. The Coatesville residents will pull each other back down just like crabs in a cooking pot.

As long as the citizens of Coatesville's egos are stroked people here don't care if most Coatesville residents are being bled dry by con-men. That is if they also perceive it is the government or the people in the next block and not them who are being bled dry.

Coatesville is con-man heaven; it's like hunting in a zoo.

Harder to buy smack and crack

It’s harder to buy smack and crack in Coatesville right now. You can thank the boys that work for Eric H. Holder Jr.

Crime is Down

According to Preliminary Stats
For the second straight year, violent crime and property crime have decreased across the nation.

I could never understand the popularity of President Reagan.

But then I did not watch the evening news on TV. I was too busy working 12 hours a day 60 or more hours a week for most of my working life to have time for TV. I got all my news from the papers and read what Reagan said. It’s all vague pap when you read it; I guess it was in the delivery.

The Extremist Conservative Republicans that President Eisenhower thought would never have much clout in the Republican Party found their savior in President Reagan. The Extremist Conservatives quest to eliminate all traces of President Roosevelt’s New Deal found a leader. They were nearly completely successful.

But thank God they didn’t get their holy grail of eliminating Social Security by transferring the funds into the Stock Market. Our Social Security benefits would have been stolen by executives at Bear Sterns, AIG and (I kid you not) Nicky Scarfo's FirstPlus Finiancial Group Inc.
