Welcome to the Coatesville Dems Blog

Public Corruption in Chester County, PA

I believe an unlikely mix of alleged drug trafficking related politicos and alleged white nationalist related politicos united to elect the infamous “Bloc of Four” in the abysmal voter turnout election of 2005. During their four year term the drug business was good again and white nationalists used Coatesville as an example on white supremacist websites like “Stormfront”. Strong community organization and support from law enforcement, in particular Chester County District Attorney Joseph W. Carroll has begun to turn our community around. The Chester County drug trafficking that I believe centers on Coatesville continues and I believe we still have public officials in place that profit from the drug sales. But the people here are amazing and continue to work against the odds to make Coatesville a good place to live.

Robbery Interrupted-Coatesville a "Walkable Community"? Or a muggers paradise?

Police: Robbery by two juveniles interrupted

Muggings are and have been for many years regular events in Coatesville. What's different are police reports.

A women repeatedly came to Coatesville City Council meetings to complain about the everyday threat of being mugged that she faced.  Her pleas for the Council to do something were met with cutbacks to the police department. She came back one day to say that she sold her home and moved out of Coatesville.

Because of what might be called a “gag order” on Coatesville Police by City Manager Harry Walker, lesser reported crimes like armed robbery and muggings require reporters to dig through Magisterial Court Records. Many crimes go unreported in the news.

In a phone call from his car in 2006 Tom Hogan said to me that "Coatesville was ready to turn over and then these new guys came in." Revitalizing Coatesville and bringing in 7,000 new people unrelated to Coatesville's existing population would have ended Coatesville's position as  the Drug Depot of Chester County.

By drug depot of Chester County I mean that drugs come here and are distributed thru-out the county. The drugs get used by white kids in the suburbs while the violence stays in Coatesville.

Former Coatesville City Manager Paul G. Janssen Jr. said the first thing we need to do is make the streets safe. I believe he was hounded  by Chester County's drug cartels ever since.

One of the first things the "Bloc of Four" did was to get rid of Paul Janssen's pick for chief of police, Dominick Bellizzie, a very effective Coatesville Chief of Police and replace him with a "hood approved" chief.

I think Paul Janssen was run out of town by a coalition of Chester County's drug cartels and John Birch Society members that believe downtown revival is a United Nations plot to take over the USA.

Boston? My guess is a USA "patriot" anti-government-anti-tax pro-gun terrorist

I think the most likely Boston Marathon bomber is a "lone-wolf"guy who is somehow related to an anti-government patriot group. In the mold of Timothy McVeigh in his bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building
"It is unclear who carried out the attack – and whether they were from America or elsewhere. The attack fell on Patriots' Day, a Massachusetts state holiday to mark the first battles of the revolutionary war against Britain, as well as "Tax Day" in the US, the deadline for individuals to file their tax returns. It is also close to the 19 April anniversary of the 1995 Oklahoma bombing and the end of the Waco siege in 1993"
Boston marathon explosions: hunt begins for perpetrators - live updates
AND THIS:
"The 26-mile marker at Monday’s Boston Marathon was dedicated to the 26 victims of the December 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, and several runners from Newtown participated in the race."
Mile 26 of Boston Marathon dedicated to Sandy Hook shooting victims; Newtown runners unharmed

We live in frightening times.
"Before the first wave of the Patriot movement died down at the end of the 1990s, law enforcement officials had broken up scores of terrorist plots aimed at the government and others. Now, after four years of a major Patriot resurgence, it seems likely that the movement and its violence will spurt ahead yet again, driven, as it was in the 1990s, in large part by hatred of gun control. The other powerful drivers of the movement have been the re-election of President Obama — who, like Bill Clinton in the early 1990s, is seen as a liberal traitor — and the sorry economy…
Once again, the threat of violence seems to be looming. Already, to the surprise of some analysts, a major new study of domestic political violence from the radical right — “Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right,” by the director of the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point — found that right-wing violence is up dramatically from the 1990s. Specifically, the report found that there were an average of 70 “attacks or violent plots originating from individuals and groups who self-identify with the far-right of American politics” in the 1990s, but that the comparable number for the 2000-2011 period was 308, with especially high numbers from 2007 on.
Remarkably, the report also found that the far right was most likely to engage in violence “in a contentious political climate.” More precisely, it said that “the single most important factor is the number of Republicans in the House.” It’s unclear why that is, although it may be related to the encouraging rhetoric of some of those Republicans or perhaps frustration that they are not adequately representing extremists. What’s notable is that having right-wing representatives in Congress does not have the “safety valve” effect that many expected.
Eighteen years ago, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote then-Attorney General Janet Reno to warn about extremists in the militia movement, saying that the “mixture of armed groups and those who hate” was “a recipe for disaster.” Just six months later, the Oklahoma City federal building was bombed. Today, with our country’s political polarization at historic levels and government officials being furiously demonized by Patriots, we may be approaching a comparable moment.
In the 1990s, warnings that might have averted some of the violence from the radical right failed to stick. Now, as we face another large and growing threat from the extremists of the Patriot movement, the country needs to do better. One important start would be to demand that the Department of Homeland Security, which gutted its non-Islamic domestic terrorism unit after unjustified criticism from the political right, rebuild its important intelligence capabilities."

CONCERNED CITIZENS?

I'm not sure what this is. It does not appear to have any association with the Concerned Citizens of Coatesville of several years ago.

I believe that Eric Quick, Sr. who is a candidate for Republican Committeperson for CCRC Area 14 in Coatesville's Second Ward has something to do with this meeting

Keep in mind that Republicans have always and continue to run candidates like Patsy Ray as Democrats. Democrats here can be totally backed, financed and campaigned on the ground in Coatesville by Republicans.

At least Richard Legree is no longer the Chairman of CCRC AREA 14.

ATT. Oxford PA residents: Gilberton Borough Council's Nullification Resolution

They played the wrong tune. It should have been "Dixie". But I don't think they  know that Nullification was a prelude to the American Civil War.

On January 24th, 2013, Gilberton Borough Council unanimously passed Gilberton Police Chief Kessler's proposed 2nd Amendment Preservation Resolution to nullify all unconstitutional federal, state, and local acts, orders, and regulations involving firearms, firearms accessories, or ammunition.

"At Monday’s (Oxford, PA)  Borough Council meeting, Thompson introduced his own Second Amendment Preservation Resolution, copied from a similar resolution passed in January by the Borough Council in Gilberton, Pa. That resolution states that all federal, state or local regulations on firearms, firearm accessories or ammunition are a violation of the Second Amendment and the state constitution."

Some people think the Chester County Republican Party is not as extremist as the GOP freak show you see on TV

I think our Chester County Republican commissioners are as freakish as the GOP nutcases you watch on TV. They just don’t flaunt their extremism.

Our Chester County Republican Commissioners hired this extremist union busting group to advise them on how to rid Chester County of unions:

Florida City Paying $2,500 A Day To Radical Union-Busting Firm To Stop Workers From Organizing
Submitted by admin on Mon, 2012-07-23 14:00
All over the country, right-wing lawmakers are waging a war on Main Street America’s labor rights [1], purporting to do so out of a desire for fiscal restraint (while also backing budget-busting [2] tax breaks for the wealthiest among us).
Now, the city of Winter Park, Florida, is going to new lengths to stop nearly 150 city workers from joining a union. Apparently more concerned with stopping the union than saving money, Winter Park hired consultants at Kulture LLC, “a firm specializing in labor relations” at the rate of $2,500 a day to persuade workers to vote against organizing [3] this summer:

Letter: Commissioners hiding anti-union legal, consultant costs

April 10, 2013
Commissioner Ryan Costello has admitted publicly that the County has hired Buchanan Ingersoll Rooney, PC and Peter List of Kulture, LLC. However, when questioned in a public meeting, the Commissioner refused to reveal the cost of these services. Their failure to be accountable to taxpayers doesn’t end there. I personally filed right-to-know requests on 3/18/13 and 3/26/13 asking the County to provide copies of any contracts and itemized expenses related to the firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, PC including the services of David Hackett, and of Peter List of Kulture, LLC.

It seems that back in 2008 Peter List was in the typewriter & fax machine technology period of the GOP base. This is a press release:
"It's unfortunate that American voters are being fooled into thinking Barack Obama is anything but a bought-and-paid-for lackey for big union bosses like Andy Stern, John Sweeney and their cronies," says List.  "Obama and his fellow Democrats' insistence on passing this dangerous legislation will put more American jobs in jeopardy of outsourcing and subcontracting, as capital flees America like never before, and it will put many smaller companies out of business."

War on Drugs or American Holocaust? THE HOUSE I LIVE IN

Coatesville is a drug distribution depot.  Most of the violence stays among blacks in Coatesville but most of the use & resale is by whites outside of Coatesville. When the arson fires made every young white male driving in Coatesville a suspect, the drug business here shut down. Across most of our nation there is no black community to use as a drug distribution depot.

As the Wall Street Banker depression sets joblessness in stone across the nation, street capitalism begins. Jobless people of all races and origins sell drugs to stay alive and use drugs to forget.

It’s a Holocaust in slow motion, an American Holocaust.

Kids wilding in Coatesville

With their partially developed brains teenagers are normally reckless.

This isn't Philly.

Black kids in Coatesville wilding in neighborhoods at times when everyone is at home watching TV is more dangerous than they think.

A few weeks ago 4 kids on bikes were riding on our block on Stirling Street.  A person visiting my neighbor was outside. She heard glass breaking down the street. Then they reportedly rode by my house and then turned back. The person visiting my neighbor heard one kid say, "I'll show you how it's done." He rode his bike up our steps and allegedly kicked our door. He broke the glass 4 feet up on our outer front door. It caused several hundred dollars damage.

Officer Antonucci responded. The kids looked between 12 and 14 years old. It was 9:03 pm. It was too dark to see faces.

I know some people try to equate the City of Coatesville with the City of Philadelphia but Coatesville's just a small rural Pennsylvania village. Everybody knows everybody. You can find out anything you want at a barbershop or hairdresser.  I have leads on where the kids might live.

My wife and I were inside watching TV. We were startled by a loud bang at the front door. Four kids were still riding up and down the street when my wife and I went outside. They wore long length coats. I've heard that long coats are the latest thing for cool gang banger fashionistas. It was just after 9pm.

I don't believe one of them was the person in this article below. He is way too old.

I've heard that 3 store owners in downtown Coatesville had the glass in their doors kicked in. You can see a plexiglass replacement on one store door. A store owner had his expensive equipment inside broken up. Nothing stolen, just wrecked. Wilding.

The kids wilding in Coatesville are in more danger then they think. I live in what might be the most well armed neighborhood in Pennsylvania. I don't feel safe just knocking on some of my neighbor's doors in the daytime. I wouldn't even think of walking up to their door at night.

Like I said this isn't Philly. Older black people will tell you it was not safe to walk on a rural Chester County road. You're in prime danger of being run down. That hasn't changed at all.

Maybe you have heard "Pennsylvania is Philly and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between". Coatesville is in the Alabama part. You will find white supremacists all around Chester, Lancaster and Berks Counties. Some are in Coatesville. A few of them are active white supremacists. The number of white supremacists who are active seems to be growing.

My son would ride miles from home on his bike when we lived in Trappe, PA. His friend was the son of the chief of police and they still got in trouble. The funny thing is one of my boyhood buddies was the son of the Coatesville Chief of Police. Once they have wheels it's hard for parents to know where they are.

It's still cold outside. I'm worried about this summer.

I wonder if Pat Sellers is attending this White Nationalist Conference?

If you lived in Coatesville from 2003 you may have come across Pat Sellers. He went door-to-door Coatesville campaigning for Patsy Ray, Kurt Schenk and other people running for office in 2005 who would eventually be called the “Bloc of Four”.  I believe that Pat Sellers personally interviewed all the people that ran against the standing city council in 2005. Sellers also claimed authorship of much of the “Coatesville Recorder” campaign flyer that went to every house in our city.

Pat Sellers also very proudly proclaims his support for the Sahas and their battle with the City of Coatesville.

Pat’s main man Jarred Taylor is having a conference in Tennessee:

LETTERS FROM READERS
Sir — Jared Taylor missed the mark completely in his article on Elian Gonzalez in the June issue. One would think that since the liberal Washington Establishment was going against one of its usual constituencies (the Cuban community), Mr. Taylor would realize that racial consciousness had little if anything to do with what is happening. By narrowly focusing on what is at most a side issue, he fails to see the big picture.
The globalists in Washington don’t give a hoot about Elian, and are probably delighted that conservatives like Mr. Taylor focus on the race issue. They are playing this out to further their globalist ambitions. In order to keep moving incrementally towards a global government, they must continue to appease comrade Fidel. To allow Elian Gonzalez to stay here would be a slap in the face to the old bearded one. Their globalist ambitions are so strong they are willing to risk alienating one of their strongest voting blocks.
Mr. Taylor also fails to realize the dangers in letting Reno and company get away with the enormous abuse of federal power their early-morning raid represents. Just because it was a Cuban household the feds smashed their way into does not make it any more acceptable to true constitutionalists.
